Wanted to leave a note that you guys inspired me to get fit. After watching you casually climbing or running up mountains I thought hey I should do that. As of right now I have lost 60 pounds since the beginning of the year. Just wanted to say thank you for being inspirational.
13 miles, 5000 vert. steep snow, sketchy scramble in ski boots, ski descent of steep rock-lined couloir with a nasty dogleg in it, and Danny makes it looks like an ez stroll. Watching the video I'm thinking, "this is pretty casual compared to a lot of stuff the Armatures do, I could do that", then I start to do the math in my head,... um actually no.
The beginning and end soundtracks are such classics and bring me so much joy and nostalgia and then the new song in the middle was such a great vibe always so spot on with the music Danny!
Was re-watching a lot of your old content lately, and it blows my mind how many gnarly summits you did solo. Especially the Montana one where you started in the dark. Cool to see another solo video, Christoph and gang must still be worn out from Chimbarazo 😂
Great, I find a new post at 9:30am but now have to punch in and get to work and wait 10 hrs till I can Watch! Good to see ya Danny! I'm sure you've been busy sandbagging The flood waters in Provo lately! Thx for posting!!😁😁
Yeah we are proud of our little mountain ranges in Utah. 😁🤣 But yeah can't beat the Colorado and Canadian Rockies. Those ranges go on forever. Good to see more MA content. Can't wait to see what this upcoming "big stuff" is!!!
Impressive you filmed (and did that all) solo! I'm a very Amateur (skier) myself....come up to the Sawatch Range and ski Mt. Shavano/Princeton/Elbert sometime!
Awesome! I skied this line in mid-April this year on a gloomy and overcast day. However, we got very lucky and got the Boxcar in full on powder conditions. One of my best ski days this year!
Nice teaser at the end. I really hope the Armatures are not just pursuing the standard escalation to higher peaks that all now have herd paths on them, (Denali, Aconcagua, Chomolungma). Let's see some wild and obscure places. How about a ski traverse of some of the high peaks in Labrador? Maybe ski some remote volcanos in Chile/Argentina. How about a climb of a glaciated peak on a remote island in the southern ocean? Kayak down the Mackenzie river. Bike pack from Yellowknife to Tuktoyaktuk.
Danny, you were in my backyard. Please be advised, if I ever see you in the wild, I will probably force a hug upon you. Lol Really great seeing you back in action on YT
YAY!! M.A. is back! Missed your adventures. Super Sick Line! Very aesthetic, thanks for bringing us along. Probably grateful it clouded-up on the way out, or I bet that snow would've been isothermal and stickier than a bad batch of rice. Also, to make things sort of confusing- that's 14,017' Wilson PEAK in the upper LH corner of this amazing shot ua-cam.com/video/OSsVCzNL21o/v-deo.html Yup, two Wilsons right near each other. Climbed it last summer, rewarding day.
Been listening to NewsAF for like 3 years and finally checked out this channel for the first time. It's pretty awesome! Curious about what gear Danny is using
I saw the MA's on an NBC clip here on YT of all places. Going to be on animal planet ?!! Danny was strangely mute in the video. Blake was there with a long haired Matt. Or did I just dream the whole thing??
IDK, man. All that gloom and doom on the summit and the skiing looked pretty damn good. But maybe that's just me in AK where refreeze is not really a thing this time of year.
Wtf it's may and there's that much snow, such a win Wtf are you complaining about Danny, the snow seemed very skiable. That smile and buzz at the bottom the couloir said it all Are bears a reasonable risk out there and this time of year? Dont have that problem in Aus 😅
Wednesday is now looking up. "Just a 10 mile day with 4500ft of climbing...not a big day". Correction..."13 mile and 5000ft day". Nice adventure. Look forward to the rest of the amateurs coming out of their winter slumber to join in the adventures.
Well, well, well, took your time posting a new video huh? We've been waiting months... All will be forgiven, let's just get back to a more regular schedule! :)
Who else was worried about these guys, having not released a video in over 3 months?
No, Danny is pretty active on Strava.
Yep, didn't want to ask though. Hope all the team are well 👍🏻
I only about Christof! He should be home watching Netflix not risking his life trying to keep up with the other guys in the mountains!!!
Not worried but wondering why no content lately
I was wondering if life just caught up to these guys and they moved on. Or maybe took the winter off?

YESSSSSSS! A new MA video. Danny has not died and is not a bloated corpse on some mountain ridge. This has made my day. Worth waiting for.
right! He did not become a Mountain Dew soaked Meat Berry for a Griz!! Bahahahahaha!!
😂🙌
It’s worth it 😂😂
i forget how much joy this channel brings me
Always makes me stoked to see them upload
me too!!! the best channel
Gotta love rich Mormons doing cool shit
To true!!

Sneaking up on 100 K subs! Honestly, you guys should have way more. Awesome content as usual.

Thank you for being awesome.
YESSS!!! A NEW MEDICORE AMATEUR VIDEO! my day is made.
Fantastic! Greetings from Munich, Germany
It made my day to see this upload, thank you for sharing your Adventures!
Very nice, impressive boxcar line. I love the mushy stuff.
Impressive you filmed (and did that all) solo! I'm a very Amateur (skier) myself....come up to the Sawatch Range and ski Mt. Shavano/Princeton/Elbert sometime!

They have families, calm down dude. Danny and friends have done some great stuff. Given their limited time and responsibilities.
@@jeremys6631 Oops, apparently my tongue-in-cheek tone didn't carry. Agree, they do all kinds of cool stuff!
Great solo mision👍👍🏔️🏔️
Good to see the MA back!
Love this channel!
Great adventure! Bagging the summit in ski boots was pretty hardcore…
Great video
good thing you guys posted this video, I was about to hold a funeral for Mediocre Amateur
That last part, heading to the car, sounds like you were doing a little waterskiing with all that squeaky crunch underfoot.
Babe come quick Danny’s back at it!
And he said he’s got big stuff coming up!
They have some big stuff coming up?!?!?
Danny, you were in my backyard. Please be advised, if I ever see you in the wild, I will probably force a hug upon you. Lol
Really great seeing you back in action on YT
Never a disappointing vid!
Good to see you back Danny! Where is the crew?
Love this channel

That was cool. Been waiting for this for awhile. Ha.
Drinking a Mountain Dew on top of a mountain peak.....that's pretty Hardcore. 😁
Do more idaho mountains. Remote, pristine, secluse. You guys inspire me and my own mountaineering pushes
5K vert is a solo breeze for Danny!
Brave man doing it solo....

About time 😂😂 love it
Spicy solo

Doing the Mount of the Holy Cross Couloir this weekend....hit us up if you want to come!
Perfect!😊
Sweet, a mediocre amateurs video! Love seeing a new adventure Danny, really miss the suffer fests with the boys. You all good?
Cliffhanger!
Hey, can you do a short video on your film making, cameras you use, mounts, sticks etc maybe some tips for a newbie adventure short film maker..🙏
Thay have another channel, Mediocre Extra, where they go over the gear they use and there's a video on the camera gear there
In the last line of the video Danny said, "I got some big stuff comin up." Should I be excited??
Wtf it's may and there's that much snow, such a win
