Danny, Thank you, Blake, Christov, Matt, Aaron, ( sorry for misspells ). You and crew have started the " living Vicariously through others" Through the 3 years we've watched, we have expanded our hiking excursions, terrain. Further, You guys are our retreat from the world's B.S. Thank you again, keep it up, Please
I am old and broken from many decades of adventures. You guys keep me smiling and remembering the steep and deep and the whitewater rivers back when I was young. Power on while you can.
I have found the best combination of waking up in the morning. Hot coffee and the adrenalin rush from watching you all on Mediocre Amateur. Oh what a feeling!
Like everyone else... how does this channel not get more view. I have spent the last month hammering through the entire back catalogue. Great videos, great inspiration. Thanks for all the work you all put in.
I'm 65 and did 5 miles with 700 ft vertical yesterday and wore myself out! You guys are amazing! I have to scale my expectations way back, but you all inspire me to get out there!
But isn't it in a ski resort? Could make it more convenient but less fun. But I do agree, Humphrey's and Tuk probably have the best panoramas in the nation
Of all the channels I watch, yours is by far the best! The adventures are always interesting, your filming and editing are spectacular, and I love the way you guys are always teasing each other. Thanks for doing this!!!
About 20 years ago I hiked up and skied that line going down the SW gully on Mt. Tuk. Old pair of Rossignols did just what I needed. Came out at sunset and smiled at the solo. Sure beat the drop at Tuckerman's back east in the spring.
Dueling Whippets.....the sure sign something extreme is about to go down. Great trip. It's a long way from AK but I'd love to get that done one of these years.
Who is Christof? Just kidding. : ) You guys are all amazingly skilled and I love watching your videos and seeing views I'd never see otherwise. Thanks for posting.
Thank you guys for this awesome post! The moment you are traversing that ridge from Peale to Tuk and then up the final incline to Tuk seems like you are on top of the world, somewhere in the Himalayas! Wow! Got 2 questions: 1) Weren't you scared of avalanches? Living in the Austrian Alps, I've done my fair share of off-piste skiing and I must say in the face of these free, steep slopes I'd have been most worried about avalanches! 2) How did you find your way back from Tuk to your starting point through all these dense aspen groves??
Love your videos. You should rip the Presidential Traverse in NH, The Pemi Loop, or the Huts Traverse! Presi Traverse: 20.4 miles, 8000ft elevation gain. Pemi Loop: 30.3 miles, 9500ft elevation gain. Huts Traverse: 45miles, 16000ft elevation gain.
Official Counter: Mediocre Amateur videos since Danny's last puke: 6! I wasn't holding out much hope for action on this video. I've gotten use to not having Blake on a video, but not have Blake and Christof? Matt is the LAST person I would expect to brown bagging it. See you next video.
Love you adventures and videos. I am inquiring what skis and setup do you use to do both cross country and then downhill? Thanks, any info is appreciated. Ken
Great video as always guys! What camera are you saying for the cinematic wide angle shots? Also how do you manage to get your GoPro footage to look so clean? Is it making sure it’s uploaded in the quality it was shot in? Thanks!
I would love to an episode where you guys discuss your jobs/career.
I agree. And also an application so I can live like Danny.
"We're skiing on rocks" - Danny
"So, I borrowed Christoff's skis..." - Matt
I work as a ski tech in a shop that does AT rentals - I routinely take out the shop's skis on days like these.

I feel for Christoff. To add insult to injury, Matt made sure your skis had the fun you were missing out on!
I am old and broken from many decades of adventures. You guys keep me smiling and remembering the steep and deep and the whitewater rivers back when I was young. Power on while you can.

Best day of the week when a new Mediocre Amateur is uploaded!
Nice to have a type 1 fun day every so often.

We all miss when Christoff isnt around but his FOMO almost makes up for it know that he is missing out. Epic trip guys, thanks so much for sharing!
Gotta ski Humphreys in Flagstaff, you are at 12000+ while looking down into Sedona and the Grand Canyon!
But isn't it in a ski resort? Could make it more convenient but less fun. But I do agree, Humphrey's and Tuk probably have the best panoramas in the nation
Gotta love being on skis in a t shirt. Looks like a great day out.
I have never seen you guys take so many breaks before, Christoff must have some SERIOUS FOMO on this one.
I was sure they didn’t even eat...
Seriously, lol
Lol flying the 787 sounds pretty awesome
Windy place for sure. I will never forget my trip up those hills.
The commentary is great on these vids
Was looking up these mountains after seeing them from I-70. Looks sick!
Of all the channels I watch, yours is by far the best! The adventures are always interesting, your filming and editing are spectacular, and I love the way you guys are always teasing each other. Thanks for doing this!!!
The La Sal mountains are some of the coolest I've ever explored.
I'm honestly blown away that your videos don't have more views. This is my fix during the summer time when I can't go skiing.
Have looked upon them often enough, heaven on earth! Thanks for that fellas:)

This was a great one! That snow looked dreamy. This video proves you don't need powder to have an awesome time.

That area looks awesome. Fun trip!
Did Mount Tuk in July after a 100+ degree day in Arches. Awesome to find some relief just 30 minutes away from Moab!

Awesome to see you guys getting after it - wish we had red rocks like that in Canada!
I really enjoyed the end shot of your day's tracks- unique & cool to see the whole trip's work. Looks like a great trip!

Who is Christof? Just kidding. : ) You guys are all amazingly skilled and I love watching your videos and seeing views I'd never see otherwise. Thanks for posting.
Another epic video treat. Thanks guys. Challenge: next spring = burro pass skin/ski + MTB porcupine rim.
Nice controlled descents, true art
That was so sick! I had the same thought when I went to Moab, the views must've been surreal
I've been waiting for the new one!! Yessss!!
Awesome!! Good for you both.
Always be safe.!!

Awesome video! Just climbed both those peaks last summer.
I'd love to see you guys do the Ptarmigan Traverse in the North Cascades this summer!
Your trips looks amazing as usual. I do the same activities as you guys do but less skilled in the mountain.
Another epic adventure! Just got my first pair of touring skis today 😎
I rode a dirt bike over those mountains and into Colorado. Amazing place.
Love y’all’s videos, they excite me to get out and see more of the state!
Magnificent! Oh I wish now I had not played high school football!!
I like how these guys don't even flex the helicopter
Oh schnap I thought the outro shots were from a drone but I see now 👀

I love these videos!
Missed the first few beautiful spring days on Mount Washington here in NH. I feel for you hard Christoff!
I am looking forward to the snow melting and seeing some punishing runs leading to throwing up. That nice pale/green look right before you chuck.

where did Blake go???
That is one of the universe’ s greatest mystery.
Thanks for the puke counter, you're doing the lord's work out here
That christoff impersonation is on point 🤣
I remember I camped on these mountains for a few nights. I would wake up to elk and mule deer grazing in my campsite every morning
You guys are blowing up my spot!!!
PronounceTuk, like too with a k on the end. Or Too-koo-niki-vatz.
Welcome to the other side of the lens Christoff. Sucks doesn’t it.
Love you adventures and videos. I am inquiring what skis and setup do you use to do both cross country and then downhill? Thanks, any info is appreciated. Ken
Keep it going
Always jealous of what you guys get to do in these videos.
"I haven't seen a lunch in a brown bag in a long time I think his mom packed it for him" 😂
Dannys witt is part of the beauty of the MA videos.
In the 90's I'd kick myself for not packing my tele skiis to do this on my annual Moab mountain bike trip. Awesome episode as always!
Great video as always guys!
What camera are you saying for the cinematic wide angle shots? Also how do you manage to get your GoPro footage to look so clean? Is it making sure it’s uploaded in the quality it was shot in? Thanks!
That looks absolutely gorgeous! What do you guys use for filming? Only GoPros?
Beautiful! What tool do you use for navigation?
Good video
I love your leathery skin, sign of a true man.
Got to film in Olympic national park glacier peak my Shasta defenetly Lake Tahoe and mt Denali
Second best channel on UA-cam. When you find the first best, let me know.
The mediocre amateur lore is surprisingly deep
Scratches on your bases are like notches in your bed post…be proud
I've been wanting to climb mt peale in the La Sals
