Was really interesting to see your take on glazing, not sure what research or experience you have had before, but man you went for it, and you should be really happy with your work! that being said I'm putting a link here for a video from a great painter i respect, that breaks down the various paint consistencies in a great way, my painting has come on leaps and bounds since finding him, and i try and pass it on where i think it's appropriate. feel free to delete the post below if your not happy, i know some people may view it as poaching views, i wont take it personally if you do. keep up the good work! ua-cam.com/video/0_2Vs5EJzps/v-deo.htmlsi=7iCJwN8jrJHQb1ZN
Yeah, glazing is something I’ve only ever done for this series and coming in cold to some of these techniques is kinda what the series is about (I’m hoping it’s obvious by now that I’m a hobby level painter with a thing for making videos). I’ll check out the video, I think I’ve seen a couple of theirs before. Paint consistency is something I’ve struggled with for a while but as long as everything looked good on the battlefield I was happy. Putting this level of inexperience on camera is very much a wake-up call. Is worth mentioning though, that the pace I’m working through this series there’s going to be a few more with dodgy glazing and wonky edge-highlights 😄 I have no issues with folks posting links that are appropriate in the context of the video itself. Might jump on anything that is blatant self-promotion though, or NSFW, or about cleaning rugs, that’s not a dark hole anyone needs to be going down especially not from my comment section 😉
@@ClocksonTV there’s absolutely nothing wrong, it’s refreshing to see posts from an inexperienced point of view, hopefully it stops more people from quitting the hobby because they didn’t get the same results as people who have clearly been painting for decades, I think we need more of it out there for people to see, your doing good work, I have watched the entire series more than once!
Ta du avoir du taf la all troops XD
It took soooo long 😄
Im glad this series hasnt ended.
Thanks, me too, though we’re getting ever closer, so now I have to think about what comes next 😄
XDD
