Hey Justin, your videos are very helpful and I've learnt a lot. I've passed the beginners modelling and i am looking for a but more advanced but not too advanced. can you please suggest some resource for practicing, It'll be much helpful. Thanks.
I don't really have videos broken out by "beginner, intermediate, advanced." If you're looking to expand your modeling skills, maybe check out some more extension videos?
This worked for me recently when making the transition from an ellipse to a rectangle with rounded corners. I learned the hard way (because I had not watched this video at that point) that having the same number of segments yielded much better results. To do this I had to explode the curves and once you do that the number pf segments will be displayed in Entity Info. Then compare that to the other curve. In my case I had a difference of 13 segments so I looked at the individual segments to find the longest ones then right-clicked on each one at a time and in the pop-up menu choose Divide. You can then type in the number of segments you want to break this segment into. Once I had the number of segments the same I welded them back together and proceeded to use the loft tool and it worked very well.
hello. It is my first time using Sketchucation and i have downloaded this extension but i cannot open it. I use mac and opened the file as a sketchup file and it 404 "this is not a model"

You're my Go-To Guy, Justin. Many thanks!
I love your tools and your videos ! thanks a lot!
Thanks for sharing. Great for car bodies but not for aircraft fuselage, because it won't accept close shapes such as circles etc
Make sure to try Curviloft for this function as well and see which one you like better

Would this be the most efficient way to have an extrusion from an elliptical face to a circular face? And possibly through a 90 degree bend?

Can it be that you have already shown the same thing, seems somehow familiar to me? ;- )
Probably what you're thinking is the loft by edges function in Curviloft, which is a very similar tool with very similar uses.
@@Thesketchupessentials yes, exactly curviloft has the same functions. That's why I know that
