I just wanted to say THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart! I have been struggling with my passenger door for 3 years! Trying to trouble shoot this or that! My father is an electrician and checked all the wires, everything was fine! Seen one video which said it was the driver door module, bought that didn't fix it. I was resigned to the fact that my passenger door would never work again until I finally came across your video and said what the heck!!! So I bought a used door control on ebay for 49 bucks and BOOM SHAKALAKA! It worked!!! Thank you for posting this. Worked like a charm.
Thanks for responding to my post on your comments section. I share your frustrations as I was fleet mechanic for over 25years and pulled out my hair many times over computer problems; that is why I am bald lol.
Every modern car has multiple computers that can become confused and if that happens the computer doesn't know what to do so it does nothing. The reason the different module worked the window and mirrors and seat heater is that the module wasn't confused when it was in the other vehicle. Disconect the battery and walk away from the car and the module will reset or the power breaker for the right door under the dash close to steering collum just to left ;will reset. Some times bleed over from another vehicle s remote key fob will confuse your computer.
This is a great take on the problem. I wish I had the foresight to try that option, but will be a great starting point for the future. It's sorta like rebooting your computer every now and then. Things start to malfunction, programs don't work as they should,. connectivity issues... then a simple reboot and everything is working again. Thanks for the input and comment.
I have a 01 Yukon and my passenger 3 windows switches don't work put new ones and still don't work but all work from the driver's side do u kno what I could check to fix them
Diagnostics are hard on those, check power and ground in the plug on back of switch. Also sometimes a bad driver door switch module can make the others not work properly
@@AxlesGarage thanks and the driver said switch is the only one I have changed because it controls all of them thinking it's working right when it might not be
I have a 2006 Chevy Trailblazer right front door doesn't have any power park the car and turn it off then the next time you go to get in it everything's working again

Do yourselves a favor when chasing electrical gremlins, put your multi meter on ohms and check all fuses for continuity.
Thank you for the tip
I had the exact same problem. It was just a blown fuse labeled PDM in the inside fuse box.
Good info
My powerd window want go down, on 2005 gmc envoy all the others work fine. Any suggestions?
My 03 Oldsmobile bravada is doing the exact same thing, except I have no radio, or HVAC.
Try disconnecting the battery overnight to reboot the BCM

Yes: Click Here: ua-cam.com/video/xZUpbkcPCQ0/v-deo.html
My first thought was a ground problem.
Yeah, this is gonna be a problem
My passenger window and rear passenger window won't go down also
Could be part of the same module that goes bad. It's a common problem. Thanks for watching.
@@AxlesGarage I had my mechanic check it out and it was a fuse lol.
Sometimes you gotta be happy with a simple solution.
@@lekilatu9500, which fuse was it?? I'm having a problem with my power windows they all stopped working simultaneously.
Teti Leki same prob, which fuse? I've tried everything else on my '05. Thanks!

sounds like a bad BCM or ground. Try disconnecting the battery overnight and let the BCM reboot
