Thank you again Gary. I watched your video a while back on how to replace my front turn signals. That was a great video and made the chore a success. Now it is time to replace the rear ones. Thanks again.
Followed that video, changed both blinkers, you made it super easy, thank you. I have a 2002 vulcan 1500, starts great, but when I put into first gear, it stalls, any suggestions?
Thanks Gary for signal changer videos!! I did the same with the zip ties! Only thing I did different was I spliced into the old wiring instead of snaking up the wheel well.
Ok I have 2006 Kawasaki Vulcan classic 1500 I spliced in the wires like it was and changed the blinker relay as well because I blowed it and mine still want come on what did I do wrong
I installed some new turn signal lights and all of a sudden nothing works anymore. No turn signal lights. Just wondering if you had a suggestion on what I should check?
It sounds like a fuse. I think this is a free owners manual. It will show you the fuses. ownersmanuals2.com/kawasaki/vulcan-1500-classic-1996-owners-manual-69046
I don't know. Here is a free manuel you can download. Its 159 pages on this bike. It may tell you. Good luck! ownersmanuals2.com/kawasaki/vulcan-1500-classic-1997-owners-manual-69024
@@knightingalesaid thank you kindly brother and thank you for the reply, you were the only one year did. So when i get ugly betty running correctly I'll shoot you a short vid.
i know the video is older but i am doing this same job , any idea why my 1999 800 classic has the same signals and lights and lot of things the same as your 1500 ? also is there a led run/turn signal for front and rear that dont cost a arm and leg?? thanks
I guess they just wanted to save money and use the same parts. I think of the Honda Valkyrie 1500 cc. It's the same engine as the 1500 GoldWing. They just took off all that fiberglass flaring to show that massive engine. I don't know about the turn signal LED. The LED lights for a bike. I use LED Glow lights. They work great for the past several years. It was only about 50.00 and it has a remote. You can alter color patterns about 25 different ways. www.motorcycleledlights.com/
Hi Gary. I'm trying to build a 96 vulcan 1500vn. I am struggling to find the rear brake light assembly. Even on ebay. I have even checked the part number, but no success. Do you know where to source one? thanks matey.
My 99 vulcan 1500 rear lights did the same thing. I'm going to try to repair the cracked rubber by wrapping with tape and save some money. Too bad you cant just order some new rubber for it. Now I need to figure out how to change my rear tire with the shaft drive.

I’m glad it helped! Sorry I don’t know why it would stall. I don’t guess the kick stand stall switch has a problem.

Thank you Mr. Kane. There is always an easier way to do things.
I'm about to do this on my nomad 1500, was just going to splice the new signals into the old wiring in the rear mount would that work out?

No sir, not right off hand. Do a search on "motorcycle salvage yards." They should have what you want. Good luck.
do they come with the bulbs?
Yes, they come with bulbs.
Thanks Gary your video is helpful
Great videos. Been a big help. Both front and back signals

I tried to tape them, glue them etc. They kept falling apart. They are not that expensive.
Thanks Gary!
You're welcome. Be safe!
