Doom's Betrayed Dark Lord | Davoth | FULL Doom Lore
Вставка
- Опубліковано 19 чер 2024
- The Doom Universe is full demons, violence and rage. From behind the scenes, The Dark Lord used the key players of this universe as pawns to fulfil his greater agenda. An Ancient God that had lost his power and relied on The Doom Slayer to help him get it back.
Where did the Dark Lord come from? What connection did he have to the Doom Slayer and was he always evil? In this lore video, I explore the lore and story behind Davoth: The Dark Lord in Doom.

This is a new game for the channel and it won't be pushed out into the algorithm.
If you could like, share or comment that would help a ton with engagment and the algorithm!
I have this game.
I’m here two weeks later and it showed up in recommended 😃
So what I'm getting is that this father character is a huge moron that is either directly or indirectly responsible for nearly every tragedy in the DOOM universe. Instead of giving Davos the immortality solution he searched for, he hid his results for centuries so he could build weapons to use against Davos because he feared Davos would tear the universe apart looking for a way to halt death? Then after betraying Davos and sealing him in a dimension, defeating him in battle and tearing out his soul in order to steal his powers the Father then decides to keep him around out of sentiment rather than finishing the job? WTF! You have already done the worst thing you possibly could have to Davos, why not finish the job and save the universe from the Dark Lord? Then as an added cherry on top, after making his species the apex species in the universe and its prime defender AGAINST the Dark Lord and his species completly dependant on HIM for protection against the dark lord's mind fuckery the Father THEN decides to up and vanish on his people without warning for......reasons? Its like the Father was TRYING to make as big a mess a he possibly could on the way out the door.
Hey great job with your video r kid 👍🏽
Given Doom's popularity it probably won't be hard to get it to the algorithm with a few more videos
Darklord: is there anything you want to say before you struck your creator?
Doom guy: You killed my rabbit
Darklord: wait is this your entire reason you want to kill hell itself?
Doom guy: yes
Thats why the Doomslayer is based af
Yeah let's just forget about the family photo he had in the Fortress of Doom and act like Taggart was killing of Hell only bc of his pet bc who cares about son and wife right? Pets are way more important...
@@Eric_Nomad_Hixtone You realize the Doom books are fan fiction, right?
@@Eric_Nomad_Hixtone it's all for the memes so chill about it.
MR. NIBBLES!!!! NOOOOO!!!!!
It's amazing. The story of the original Doom was: Demons from Hell are invading and killed Doomguy's Pet Rabbit so he vowed to kill them all.
It still is... 👀
I cannot wait to explore Doom Guys story.
@@DHGxMcFlurry it’s cooler if you only mention the bunny tho gives doom guy a John wick vibe
@@DHGxMcFlurry
Yeah he not only lost his pet rabbit but also his entire family including his wife, and his son.
Some of you are missing the point, which is that the original game was just a fun shooter without much care for any deep lore. Now it is impressively deep.
"hey so an unstoppable force of pure rage destroyed our proxy army and cut off our power"
"alright, let's invade his home ourselves and let him know we did it, that can't possibly go wrong"
Ikr! Pretty risky move
The thing I love is that when Davoth said "Do you have anything to say to your creator BEFORE you strike him down?!" Doomguy literally had nothing to say before he killed him, only after did he strike him did he say no. He didn't even see Davoth as worth a word while still living.
Ong that is ice cold🥶💯

@@madmank7881 that was a lie told by the maykrs the same people Davoth created.Maykrs lied about Davoth being created by the father.in the end the maykrs were willingly torturing humans sending them to hell to be immortal.
Keep in mind the khan maykr struck a deal with a dark lord in the codex to make all of that happen.
The khan maykr wanted immortality for herself and in the codex it states that only one can be influenced by the dark lord if they are corrupted.
@@Znull I fucking love the idea of God and heaven being an evil empire ascended through cruelty and just essentially space fascism mythologizing itself to be perceived as divine. creation owes nothing to it's creator.
In one of the interviews Hugo gave to youtubers, he said that the power that Doomguy now has, had always been inside him (probably the reason he was so powerful before he got juiced up, he defeated at least two hell invasions single handed and rampaged through right after). Davoth’s essence just was a key to unlock it. If you look at the interviews some of the lore does get cleared up.
Does that mean he still has that power, even after Davoth died?
@@XanderFenikkusu I believe so, yes. I think Hugo says it’s more like him being sealed away until he’s needed again. Because even though he’s the ultimate protector, he still causes massive amounts of damage (also important to remember that Davoth was meant to be the dark reflection of Doomguy, a reminder of if he ever lost himself in his rage) and with his purpose complete it’s best that he’s sealed.
@jeanpaulantoine1206 is it more like he absorbed some of the hell energy from the first time he fought against hell? Like him killing a imp caused some hell energy to go to him and him slowly getting stronger? That would explain his strength before the divinity machine.
It’s my head canon is that doom slayers body is davoths original body that the father dropped over the cliff after ripping his soul out
Doom Eternal story is just a bunch of badly written retcons.
23:40 Im sure thisll never be an accepted theory; but the Real reason Doomguy collapses in the end is not because he lost any powers, but because he can feel that its finally *done* , the rage is gone, he got his revenge. After ages of ripping and tearing, he can finally rest.
"Rip and tear... Until it is done."
Takes a whole new meaning when we learn about the Dark Lord.
Gonna be honest, dark lord had a point. Good guy in my opinion.
Defeated and destroyed the people who betrayed him.
Ruined their creations.
Killed the guy who stole his power.
AND created the thing that destroyed him thus ensuring he doesn’t survive to cause more damage.
I reckon he chose the doom slayer cos he knew that he was the only one who could destroy the maykrs but also destroy him cos he knew he was too corrupted and evil and would keep destroying his creations which he only wanted to live forever. He loved the things he created that’s why he accepts defeat at the end. He’s happy. He won.
He allowed the death of billions of people for years, not a good guy
While He may have had a point but his actions costed allot of innocent lives
@@Dualbladedscorpion7737 Ah but he ended the Maykrs who through their actions and the actions of the father lead to more deaths as they created him therefore responsible for him and also no doubt killed others after that. Thus by killing them and himself he's wiped the slate clean, this is ofcourse a headcanon of why he did what he did
Yeah, I gotta mention the universal genocide part. X/
@@Archon3960 We all do a little trolling in our time
One thing to note is that Davoth didn't choose the form of the Slayer, that was his original form since the very beginning.
This was explained by Hugo in one of Doom's Livestream where he also reveled that the divinity machine didn't give Doomguy power, but rather unlocked it and the reason Doomguy and Davoth look the same is due to both being Primevals.
Another thing is that the mech suit the dark lord uses wasn't built during TAG 2, but rather long before his imprisonment. This was also told by Hugo and he added that the claw marks seen in the suit are indicative of Demon overlords trying to usurp his position.
So by chance the doomslayer is the recarnation or a genetic copy of the davoth?
@@Dualbladedscorpion7737 No, they're just both Primevals and apparently that's why the look the same.
Yeah, I think he missed a lot of context and history with the Elemental Wraiths as well. Hell was unable to muster the power to breach into other dimensions before the capture of the Wraiths. Capturing the three wratihs D'nur had was a huge lynchpin of DOOM lore. And the implications of the the Wraiths, as well as what Davoth is, once it is revealed that the Worldspear that pierces Argent D'nur was actually a ship or structure to house MILLION of Elemental Wraiths kept in stasis (The same wraiths as the 3 that were known to inhabit D'nur and were later captured by Hell. The same wraiths that just with their voices alone were able to create life on Argent D'nur from almost nothing, as well as supercharge the growth and development of said life into impossibly titanic forms as well as effectively letting the smarter species do ACTUAL MAGIC) is kinda huge too. Same with the Slip gates found inside the core of mars, a technology that was used in the background lore of Quake.
What's a primeval?
but he looks (mostly) the same as he did in the last games
"Yo god check out this sick mech we made you when you were gone"
God: "yo shit no way"
As someone who has played these games for a long time it was one fact that fuels the doom slayer‘s hatred that hardly ever gets mentioned, in the original games your hometown is an invasion site, you play through your hometown the doom marine had a family that the demons killed, tortured their souls and twisted their bodies in other demons that the doom slayer fought and killed ending there misery .
Fun Fact: Davoth the Dark Lord was originally meant to transform into a Dragon in the final Battle. when the Doom Slayer destroys his suit. But it was scrapped by the Developers. because of the pandemic.
Oh dammit! Maybe i'd have actually been interested in this guy otherwise
wait if that happened. we would have Doom eternal's version of The Maledict from Doom 3?!

well, props to Davoth for being a man of their word when doom guy beat them fair and square
In a sense, Davoth was not just a god, he was the most powerfull being giving the ultimate sacrifice to save his people from the horror that his second, failed people were putting on them. In the end he was absolute justice. He was everything those angelic beings never could be: a true, loving and caring parent, giving his life for the safety of his children.
He’s one of the villains you feel bad for and want to see him succeed.
Yeah no, he was not God, he was a primeevil, and the primeevil are so powerful that only one can exist in each dimension, the real god is The Father who transformed himself into the Vega.
@@samuelsouza3054 The Father was not "the real god". Vega was made by Davoth and betrayed him. Even Vega himselfs admits it at the end of second DLC and it is stated through many parts of the game that this story of Davoth being just an evil and the Father being god was a lie made up by Vega / Father himself.
@@Turboman_64One of the objectives of Vega is to keep an eye on Davoth in his dimension, dosen't make any sense to say that Davoth created him.
God was the one who banish Davoth to hell, after that he gave up his physical form to be Vega to help humans, and to keep an eye on Davoth, and Samuel Hayden who calls himself the creator of Vega is a Seraphin.

@@Flowxing The demons invaded worlds, so in a way, the vorties could also have been subjugated by the demons.
Something I always found interesting was that Davoth seemed rather chill that he lost to the Slayer and was about to die(not that he just let it come to that willingly of course). Most of the other villains go kicking and screaming or spouting nonsense about it being unfair or something. He just took his loss and accepted his end was coming. Part of me wonders if he was fine with it because he knew that the Slayer would see his vengeance brought down on the ones that betrayed him even if it wasn't for the reasons he wanted.
I think he was fine with it. It appeared he had honour. Davoth is a great villain/ victim - depending on your viewpoint.
@@Skyrionn The Dark Lord has a Code of Honor(like a Samurai Warrior) and he respects the Doom Slayer for giving him a Good fight in ritual combat.
I never understood why a god like being needed a mech suit unless the catch is that suit is what gives him those powers since all doom slayer needs is his power armor
I think it's fine that DOOM has deep lore, but most people only care about as much as Doomguy does. The games are aware of it too, and that's fun.
He's probably gonna be my next video tbh
The only 2 things you got wrong one was that the Doom Slayer didn't actually die, the game explicitly says that he didn't die. And Davoth isn't the actual the God of the Doom universe, there is a being above Davoth that created him

@@eliphas_vlka
Corrax Entry 7:17
"May your thirst for retribution never quench, may the blood on your sword never dry, and may we never need you again.”
The Corrax is pretty much a prophecy Bible foretelling everything that's to happen in the Doom universe, the final Corrax entry at the end of the game is basically telling us that the battle isn't over.
And the Prophetic Tree of Doom 2016 explains of Samuel Hayden returning and him becoming a bigger threat than Davoth was in the future.
@@eliphas_vlka
And by looking at Doom 2016 the Doom Slayer awoke from his sarcophagus the same way he was sealed again to rest at the end of Doom Eternal. Also by going by what the Prophetic Tree said in 2016 Davoth couldn't have been the actual True God of the Doom universe like everyone thought, because his death was also supposed to have killed The Father, Samur, the God Sphere's in Ingmores Sanctum, as well as the Ancient Gods, because Devoth created them as well. But as we can see the Ancient Gods are the ones who sealed the Doom Slayer in the final cutscene at the end of Doom Eternal. But the Prophetic Tree was the biggest give away that the Doom Slayer didn't die, and by Father stopping Doom Slayer from killing Samur they fulfilled a piece of the Prophetic Tree's prophecy. And now that the Doom Slayer is sealed, the Demonic Crucible is left unguarded at the Fortress of Doom which also fulfilled another piece of the Prophetic Tree's prophecy about Samur using the Demonic Crucible to beat both the Doom Slayer and the remaining Demons in Hell, Samur also knows that the Demonic Crucible is at the Fortress of Doom he actually seen it there in person during the game. Just listen to the Prophetic Tree on UA-cam from Doom 2016 and it'll all make sense for you.
@@eliphas_vlka it is never mentioned either that Davoth created everything. He is known for making Jekkad and Urdak.
The 'One' who made Terra(Earth) and the Wraiths who are responsible for the rise of Argent DeNur remains a mystery.
@@kelmorian178 basically davoth is the first being who was born he is the god but there is a higher being which is life itself
I think Davoth's end was also by his design. He just sort of left it to fate one whether or not he will continue or Doomslayer is strong enough that he wasn't needed for the aftermath.
I'd say that he isn't a bad guy. He was a necessity. A devil if you wish. To punish those who had sinned but to do it with a sense of irony.
"The lore is well written, but a little confusing" that's an understatement. I'd like to know how the Hell (pun intended) Doomguy ended up on Sentinel Prime after the events of Doom 64 if that's indeed canon, cos he seemed to go both back in time and to another dimension in doing so, it just seemed like a sloppy attempt to combine both timelines.
I like to think that the other realms created by Davoth were utterly subservient to Jekkad and existed only to further its greatness, the makyrs saw this and knew things would only get worse and so sealed off Jekkad. This could be ironic later on when the Khan Makyr begins sacrificing works to sustain Urdak, she becomes just another dark lord.
It took so long to try and piece everything together too! I am planning on doing a Doom Slayer video where I'll have to go through some of the theories on how the games connect. I believe at the end of Doom 64, he was sent to a different dimension and back in time. Otherwise, it just wouldn't work.
Thanks for watching :)
I think it is a multiple reality situation where there are multiple universes playing out the same but on different timelines with the hell dimension being the only thing that connects them.
Hell is the tree
The universe's are the branches
@@brokefangmagepunk3685 That might make sense, since Jekkad/Hell was the first world to be created.
Still, it's not how I would have written it. I love Doom but the story had so many weird plot twists and revelations you'd think Vince Russo was writing it (you'd have to be a wrestling fan to get this reference)
Something pulled him out of Hell after he slayed the Sister Resurrector.
Both could be true (Hell Shenanigans. Time traveling and dimension hopping is a thing for them)
Well, time flows diffrently in hell. He could've spent there millions of years, while on earth it has been only a few...
I loved the information you were able to give us! It actually answered questions I had about what was going on, and you did a great job helping me understand! Thank you so much Skyrionn!! :D
Wow! That was an amazing video. Your way of story telling is quite impressive. Layer upon layer, without rushing through and very thorough. Video editing is also top notch! Thank you so much for your work!
Thanks a lot, I've not played a lot of the games and its nice to have its lore so succinctly summarized.
"Dave."
"It's Davoth, pitiful mortal."
"C'mon Dave, you've been in that suit of armor for 4 weeks now. You smell terrible and your wife and kids miss you. You can be a Dark lord another day"
Amazing video, very well put together, summarizes the complex story of Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal. I watched throughly and i thoroughly enjoyed it, thank you! I subscribed.
Doom 2016 was pretty straight forward, so when Doom Eternal released I was so confused by the story. These couple vids from you really make the story rich! Thanks!
My headcanon states that davoth was satisfied with his death because he knew doomguy would continue his legacy and in a way he found the secret to immortality.
I like to believe the slayer had the highest of all adrenaline highs and when he finished the dark lord he just crashed just as hard.
I always thought that the story for both Doom 2016 and doom eternal was some kind of supernatural loop. Because doom 2016 started with you leaving your coffin and ancient gods ended with you back in it. Like the coffin was a Time Machine or whatever. I know it’s a stretch
Best doom lore video on youtube, really concisely made, i love your videos

This is literally the best Doom Lore video ever made. Everything is finally answered for me. Amazing job
I feel like Davoth should of been more difficult to beat. Also I think it would’ve been better if he didn’t rely on the mech suit I feel like since he is the root of all evil then he should be at the same level as the doom slayer, so I having the same abilities like you should’ve acted kind of like a marauder, but a little bit more buffed up maybe
Oh shit, I forgot about this games lore. I know I spent alot of time reading the codexes of the enemies, guns and so on. Love that you made a video about it. I hope it's just the start
The codex entries are FULL of lore and the universe is so vast. I'm planning on making more too!
Yes this is canon and makes logical sense. Yes I pity Davoth. Betrayal does something to a being no matter how powerful. Its odd though, the Doomslayer got the rage against drmons and devils and not the actual trash that is the khan maykrs. I might be missing something. Davoth didnt hate his children and since Doomguy inherited his powers It dont makes sense d.g would. Until you throw in d.g his morality compass, death of his wife, children and pet rabbit...
You did well do get through so much in so little time. Well done.
Although I was a little disappointed that you didn't talk too much about hayden, I think you did a great job piecing the story together.
Bro! So glad to have found your channel today! We’ve had Installation 00 for Halo canon but nothing this in depth for Doom. I also love that the majority of your videos are long form!
I continue to insist we need a, in cannon, short movie on the lore of doom. Even if that means some retcons need to be made, I just want the story fully tied up. One of the issues I have is that, in doom 4, it’s implied that the slayer already possessed his praetor suit and that it had been forged in hell by a demon known as “the wretch”. However, this doesn’t explain how the slayer was separated from the suit and why a demon made the suit for him. Also, where the hell the Samuel send him at the end of doom 4
Such a great video that cleared up a ton of the muddy bits that had confused me. You've earned a sub, sir. Keep it up!
I'm glad it helped. The Lore of Doom is confusing but great when you get your head around it
Davoth definitely does seem like his creations did him dirty. but at the same time, what if those creations saw the true danger and did what they did for the great or good of davoth as well as the rest of the universe and future realms? I get it. Being betrayed by the very things you created is not good and there may or may not be a need for anger and hostility, but at the same time it was for the protection of all things living as well as you who holds a dangerous amount of power. In all of this, davoth was not evil. He just used his anger to take revenge for being betrayed without seeing that it affects everything else around him as well. Davoth was just upset and blinded by his anger
@@mado-wh4jvcorruption does it all. Once in the past, Davoth was good, but he became obsessed with immortality. The makyrs prevented a catastrophic future where possibly the Jekkadians would kill every single creature outside their domain to fulfill their need. I’d genuinely have wanted to talk to Davoth and hoped he could have a redemption arc.
not everyone needs a redemption arc
Personally I can't help but wonder; if the makyrs rewrote then which of Davoth downfall is true. Did Davoth really turn evil and Makyrs were forced to stop him or did the Makyrs ( given they're previous actions) betray Davoth for power and that became his downfall.
Great video man. Thank you, your time is appreciated !! God bless and have rippa day/night 🤩
who knew a game with such a basic goal concept would have such a deep lore
In this video I learnt the lore of Doom better than any Doom video. Thanks a lot man.
I’m just wondering where all of Davoth’s power went? He started as a being that could create realms and species such as urdak and the maykrs but when he is reborn he loses this ability?
The father (vega) took it from him
Often in mythologies beings lose their power as they use it.
The Father and others (Primevals maybe?) took it. There were numerous Life Spheres in Ingmore's Sanctum if I remember well.
It was probably locked away within him after his having spent untold aeons as nothing but a soul sphere. Then again, maybe Davoth just didn't want to fight his perfect weapon that had just given him the revenge he had so long sought. Perhaps all that power was still right there and he just let the Doom Slayer win.
Vega took it along with the third party as his son was as well involved with higher powers that as well played a downfall in davoth's grace.
Your videos are getting better and better
Thanks bud! I appreciate it!

It's fun to think, that Davoth may have died... but Doomguy might just rise as the new Dark Lord, or well, maybe he'll become what Davoth used to be. Who knows.

Another story about fearing something bad will happen and in trying to prevent it they create the thing themselves.
I have my own hypothesis that doom guy was born of a splintered dimension that held weaker versions of Davoths minions. Giving us the rise of the original Doom, Doom 2, and Doom 64 series. It may have started out as a sort of live simulation for Davoth to observe that loosely mirrored his original dimension to help Davoth predict his next moves in his dimension, but instead he became impressed by Doom Guy, who was butchering his armies. When Doom Guy decided to stay in hell to prevent hell from invading, Davoth saw an opportunity to raise a champion to take on the Maykers, and had him sent to the Argenta people where the Maykers happened to be.
I believe Doom 3 was also part of Davoth’s creations, but the dimension ran off of Horror rather than Fury. I believe that this dimension left him ultimately unimpressed and therefore he did not take their marines.
I agree
I enjoyed this lore TBH. Its actually a twist of satanism/lucifirianism/Gnosticism where they believe lucifer was the actual creator god and the abrahamic god over threw him and deemed himself the creator. interesting lore.
Can't wait for more doom lore , liked
Guy has major 40k vibes.
Great work on the video skyrionn.
Much appreciated! There's more to come
So, question. During the scene where the Doomslayer destroys the Father, it would appear that there are still other life-spheres containing other gods. Given that each of these beings were imprisoned in that secret area, and now appear to vanish after the Doomslayer’s sarcophagus is put in their place, is it possible that a revival could occur? Could the other gods be freed by the Makers to rebalance the scales, since their creators are no more? More than that, is it possible other gods exist in their universe, beings not contained within the spheres, but spread out across the vastness of space?
These gods were made By the father but ultimatly corrupted By davoth, so the father locked Them Up with him all together. The father Had stolen the creation of davoth, so By killing the father there is no creation power anymore and By killing davoth there is no leader and power anymore to make hell break free. Since argent Energy is the only source to make Not Immortal things Immortal you need hell for it to be produced but hell ist ultimatly locked Up now and dying. Everything goes cold now. So these "gods" maybe resurected but they wouldnt be able to stop the ends of the worlds. They cant create and being less than davoth they cant enter or fully control hell. Therefore are Not able to create argent Energy in an amount to stop the decay of Things. So there is technicly No need for the Doom slayer to ever come back. These gods will loose their power over time. Everything will end at some point. Its the ultimate win from davoth. He started Everything and with him dead everything will vanish at one point. He was probably the only being that could have been able to gain creation power again but He choose not to try this but end the cycle with the help of the Doom slayer By comiting suicide. He was basicly killed By himself. By His own creation that used His own power essence.
Great video, love these games but never take the time to read... Love videos like this :)
Very good video, congratulations!
Thanks man. I've been looking for a comprehensive detailed lore explanation about Davoth, and they were all so damned confusing and poorly explained. I finally understand what's going on here now. Badass lore for a game that usually has the bare minimum. After Doom 3 I've been so wary of the addition of new Doom lore, but this game seriously nailed it. Hope to see more in the future as well. (☆▽☆)
I've also watched your doomguy lore vid. And with this explanation Doom 2016 and Doom Eternal were way more fun bc I knew why Doomguy did what he did and wehy the angelic beings (Makyrs) became corrupted by the dark forces of hell. Doom is a really underrated game and deserves more attention. And you made a really good job explaining the lore so, thank you.
This was really good.
Thanks alot for this amazing narration.
Nice video, would enjoy to see more doom lore from your channel
Noted! I'll do my best to do more
Amazing. Great job.
Thanks for watching!
oooh I love these lore videos so much ❤
Moral of the story: Davoth/The Dark Lord was the good guy all along and Doomguy was the bad one, though most others were even worse. Yeehaw.
Nice video!
To be fair, Doom Slayer only got his divine powers from Davoth in the Divinity Engine, at that point he was already a mortal who scared the shit out of all demonkind after spending years relentlessly fighting them on Mars, Earth and in Hell.
Him being weaker doesn't exactly mean much in terms of his ability to murder all evil.
Correct me if im wrong but I believe one of the codex's states that the spear that carried the wraiths came from beyond the known realms. It took just 3 wraiths mixed with some hell energy to produce insane amounts of energy, just 3 of the thousands of dormant wraiths that still slumber within the spear. Primevals other than the dark lord must exist, or possibly something even stronger out there, beings that also can create realms.
A new game where some unfathomably powerful invader finally decided to see what happened to the wraiths that never checked in, or the wraiths awakening perhaps because they no longer detect a threat from beings like The Dark Lord or The Father, stripped of the power borrowed from The Dark lord, the Doom Slayer must find new ways to empower himself and take the fight to unknown shores and push back against the wraiths and their creator.
I loved the video, this is certainly one of the more clear lore summaries on the Doom series and you actually explain the correct history from the start, rather than waiting for the twist at the end and basically just reading the codex stories.
I have my own wild rabbit that looks similar to Daisy. It's "camouflage" is so good. If you didn't see it first. It's speckled brown, tan, & black coloring blends perfectly with dirt, dying leaves & the forrest floor
Love the Doom Lore, thank you for the summary. I played the game a lot b y wanted to refresh my memory for a second play.
"Are you going to speak a single line in your own franchise?"
"No."
Great job..understanding all of the law ..thanks
Thank you so much for this.
Played these games as they came out 1 by 1.
Great video on explaining the story now that we know Davoth was the first being.
It’s crazy none of this would have happened if the people he created turned on him or if he wouldn’t have created anyone in a different realm. I’d be shitty to if I was him
Very good and thorough video
Thank you! There's more to come
I've never played the games but I love listening to the lore of these games.
I am glad Davoth was redeemd via Doom Guy and totally wiping out the ungrateful and evil Maykrs.
The lore so interesting. Also i love the music you used with the Doom Eternal gameplay 😂
Who actually remembers half life 2 ost nowadays?
I have a HL2 Lore playlist too! I love the OST as much as I love the Doom OST.
I do hope one day we get a new game in the Doom series that can fill in some of these plot holes
Well that was a Rip & Tear of a deep dive... :D
great work
Great Video
Fantastic video! Loved it 😊 😈
Glad you enjoyed it!
Why would God need a mech suit? That reveal was so ridiculous lol
Because he was in human form, and he was fighting someone who was physically his equal. The doomslayer wasn't immortal, and didn't have creationist power, but physically, he was a god.
It's like two people boxing, but one of them is also a master composer and musician. Doesn't really help him in a boxing match.
i could listening to you for hours
Thanks! I wasn't sure about the voiceover in this one but I'm glad you liked it
