      Hi there! The biggest thing is to find shade to shoot in and make sure it’s not spotty shade ( if possible) and then we like to do ISO 200 and for families F3.5 or so. :)

    I am wondering when taking these walking shots are you starting your SP at 1/250 or lower I know they are not moving that fast but where do you start ?

    • @esquared.photography
      @esquared.photography  2 роки тому

      We base it all on our exposure meter being set to zero and then making sure our SS is at least 1/250 or so or higher for movement.

    So I just did my 1st family photo shoot yesterday! It was one of my friends and his wife and 2 kids. The session went great after utilizing some of the tips you provided such as closing the aperture down some to 4-4.5. The 1st thing I've noticed as I am starting to edit the photos is I seemed to consistently cut off their legs/feet. Is this a big "no-no" or is it ok to basically have the standing shots from the waist up?

    • @esquared.photography
      @esquared.photography  4 роки тому +1

      Great question! I’m sure it’s just fine. I usually will crop mid thigh up. Obviously variety is best but this should be totally fine!
