Thanks so much Mike. Those yabbies tasted amazing mate. I think Red Bellied Black Snakes rank around the 22nd most dangerously venomous snakes in the world. Something like that. They're certainly dangerously venomous, but not nearly as bad as several of the other snakes found in my area. And they also have a mild temperament which means fewer snake bites thankfully.
Hey, giving the beer a try. Here, we put the same seasoning with the beer that you would use with water. You can steam as you've done however I simply boil mine so the flavor draws in better. And you are welcome for the tip. I figured you'd enjoy the additional flavor.
I live on the gulf coast and we always steam our crabs this way. Usually in a much bigger pot and we season them in Old Bay seasoning and rock salt. You haven't lived til you crack into some traditional Chesapeake blue crab!
Now you have me interested in Yabbies and Carlton Draught! I had a black snake encounter last week. I spotted a small one about 10 metres away, just sunning itself on a mound of dirt in the gold fields. He saw me as I moved around the dirt and lifted his head a little. I then decided to test him out and stamped my foot once and he took off in the opposite direction. All from a very very safe distance! It was a nice encounter.

You have to be 0.049 if you have a full licence and 0.000 if you have any zero condition applicable to your licence, are a probationary driver or driving/operating a heavy vehicle. The same laws apply to boats as well. Also your friend wasn’t a mouthful or two over at 0.060, at 0.050 or 0.051 yes but not at 0.060. OMG.... Nobody ever goes to this spot. This is not a picnic area. The only people that ever go to this spot are the farmers that use that lane. This track would be lucky to even see 1 or 2 cars a day. I'm sure I could think of 50 better spots to have a picnic within a 30km radius of this spot, most of which are either along the river or in the Warby Ovens National Park. Lookouts and rapids are far more pleasant to picnic beside than train tracks. 🤣🤣🤣
@@robbiefishing Yes but same with you prefer not to drink beer on your videos. Woudn't it be much nicer if you were seen putting your scraps in a baggy and taking them home and binning them. Just looks better - especially you do have a number of young children who watch your tapes. Just saying.
@@mohammednovalija If the scraps were not biodegradable I would absolutely take them home. Those yabby shells will only feed the other yabbies, shrimp, minnows, turtles etc... they are not littering. Are you sure your mate didn't get caught DUI a few more times before this one ? i didn't think they were that harsh on first-time offenders. i thought they only attached that device to your car for re offender's a few times, but i could be wrong. The laws may have changed
Hey mate it has all changed. A friend of mine got caught 3 years ago. She was also .06. Because it was low range she didn't need an interlocker, but I believe it is now mandatory for all drink driving offences in Victoria.
Geeze they are strict there. We are allowed .08 here but you will go to jail. First time they may let you off with probation but you will sit in jail till a judge decides your bail.
Oh wow, you have a higher threshold with even less margin for error. No such thing as a warning for drink driving here. I have a feeling the police are not allowed to use any discretion at all. If you're .05 or over... Bang!
Well there you go, I did not know that. I understand that it is all for good reason. I shared my friends story as a bit of a wake up call to get people re-thinking their decisions.
I love watching or channel and content but with so many young people watching I don't think it's a good idea playing with snakes the way you do all the best 😊😊😊
Thanks mate, but I didn't touch the snake. I didn't play with it one bit. There's thousands of his risk videos on UA-cam. Car racing, people jumping off cliffs on mountain bikes, motorbike stunts, people doing hand stands on high rise buildings, pranks, the list goes on. There are even shows on free to air television at family friendly times where people showcase dangerous animals. One even allows himself to get bitten by spiders and scorpions. Kids see all this, and much much more. Then there's the other hundreds of reptile channels that love snakes like I do.
Did you know that I have a second channel? I use it just to share odds and ends, usually non fishing.

My dad got caught drink driving and he drank the night before but not that morning.
A lot of people get caught out like that. I have been put on the bag early in the morning several times
Cooking with beer , while drinking beer well struth I better Hops to it .
Hahaha Hops. LOL 😂😂
Robbie ....Your Mate has been done more than once for that result.
Otherwise that is a bit tough.
Hey Vince, I'm pretty sure he said it was his first offence, but I'll ask him again next time I'm talking to him.
Do you have a beer now and then rob? I did see you had a swig lol i just don't quite remember seeing you have a drink maybe a can of Canadian club ir something once when you had rabbit but i cant remember
Hi Dave, I do love a drink, a little bit too much perhaps. I don't show it often on my channel. Usually I am driving so I don't drink then, and also because there's a lot of kids watching and I want to be as much of a good influence to them as I can to them.
I actually stopped drinking at the start of this year. I lasted 6 weeks. Haha I think that's the longest that I've ever gone in my adult life. LOL
I'm off the grog again now. It's too expensive mate. I would rather spend that money on fuel to go on fishing adventures. LOL 😂😂
@@robbiefishing yeah fair enough I understand your a gentleman and a scholar good on you for being a good influence and good luck if you can keep off it for a while I know it's not easy.....👍
@@davemustaki134 Thanks mate, you're not wrong. As soon as I have a bad day the first thing I want to do is swing by the drive through on the way home. Haha 😂
U got too be .049 in vic Robbie if u blow .o5 it’s over low range drink driving
Thanks mate, yeah a few people have mentioned that. 👍👍
.049 only in Vic lol
That was jean CLAW van Damme.....
Hahahaha
That is A Nope Rope!
Also I aplaud your prep work....ie] 6 Stubbies...Just in case.....BUT
Why do you have to taint them with that Mexican creek water?
Surely a great Catch requires a Tasty and respected New pouth Welsh Beer....
Perhaps a Toohey's OLD ???....😛
Haha and a very curious and placid one. LOL
The next family that comes to that spot is gonna have ants galore and flies ruining their picnic - Thank You Robbie.
Not a good look at best.
I had rubbish. Empty stubbies and other rubbish, all of which came home with me and were out in the bin.
Nobody EVER takes their fish scraps and off cuts home with them.
@@robbiefishing Yeah okay - I give up.
The marriage counsellor said to me " Do You want to be Happy , OR do you want to be Right " ?
Bang!
My brother is laying in the. Cemertry because. Of aa drink driver
Unfortunately I cannot heart this comment. I am so so sorry for your loss mate. 🙏♥️
Actually Robbie, you need to be .049 to not get pinged. Trust me i know from experiance.
Thanks mate, yeah someone else has told me that too. A couple of my American viewers have told me that it is .08 in their state.
I don't feel sorry for the "high range" drink drivers.
Neither do I. Not one bit. They know full well that they shouldn't be driving. They deserve everything they get.
Sluuuuurp!
Re BAC, you CAN'T be .05% now! Before you didn't get done until .051% Now you HAVE to blow max, .049%! .05% will do your licence!
Well there you go, I did not know that. I understand that it is all for good reason. I shared my friends story as a bit of a wake up call to get people re-thinking their decisions.
@@robbiefishing Yep! Good job too!
Those yabs looked scrummo!
