Had that TBD kit in the mid 70's, loved the scheme, and it came out well IIRC, -can't remember how easily it built mind... Nice haul you have Matt, should give you hours of fun!

Nothing wrong with picking up older kits! a fair percentage of my stash is the older stuff, because about 20 years ago that was the only way to get kits like the shackleton and, whitley from frog, and the halifax and stirling from airfix, now all having modern tooling made of them. I have also started a little collection of the airfix 1970's blister packs, not to build but to hang on my wall, because those kits were the first ones I was buying with my pocket money, and they look great. I have a spitfire, then got a fokker triplane which was always one of my favourite box arts, and at this years Telford I bought a tiger moth blister pack and they all look great on display!

Hi Matt nice to catch up, all that way to Telford and all I came back with was a HIQ PARTS Line scriber at £25 🤨. It's great seeing those old box tops, still catching the eye after all those decades.
Someone suggested the Airfix 1/72 Vosper as my next build, which got me thinking about the old Airfix E-Boat until I saw the prices they were going for. If you know anyone who has the E-Boat for a reasonable price let me know, Greg😎
