The one thing I loved about them is that they were always having fun when they were on stage. This song is just further proof of that.

I love the awkwardness of that can-can, it's like they decided to just make up the choreography on stage.

@Idolfancom We'd like to personally invite you to back this up. Two of the guys who are supposedly "not strong enough to hold up on their own for sure" hold degrees in music, both having studied voice. One of those is in a Master's program for voice performance as well. Another one is well-known in the a cappella world for being an amazing lead in his own right. Just because the show didn't allow us to showcase more than one lead shouldn't lead you to make false assumptions. kthnxbye

This is going to sound very musically geeky, but I love Jeremy's vowel formations. He's phenomenal! So are the rest of the guys, of course. Can't wait to buy your first CD, guys!!
@strasseneckesinfonie Little John you said ? He's so stealth. Sits back and does such a fabulous job with the falsetto and we have to rewind and rewind to find out who it is! :) Anyway, on this song, the glue was the percussion. I was completely blown by all the time changes and how easily they flowed between them. The percussion set that tone and it was absolutely flawless. With all sincerity, Kudos!

love it!! scs and on the rocks are my favourites definitely, scs's a little more rock/alternative, while otr are impeccably choreographed with amazing arrangements
@Idolfancom why do u think it is that when you listen to it, it sounds seamless for the lead singer to shine? the backups are spot-on with their pitches and can hold their own part like you wouldn't believe. until you get on stage and back up jeremy lister with 5 other amazing singers you can sit back and enjoy the music

Lol!! I love SCS They are sooo awesome! The totally should have won. =( But still, watching the finale, they almost seemed cooler just singing their way out. They totally seemed like they were kinda saying "Yeah, we are awesome aren't we? But....=P Haha, cya!" It made me smile anyway. They had better get an album out soon!

@Idolfancom Are you even listening? I'm actually quite sure that any one of them could probably step into a lead role. If you really listen, you can pick out the individual voices ... and they're all quite solid. The fact that you seem to be having difficulty doing so, actually kind of points out their skill ... it means they're doing their job remarkably well.
@Idolfancom Yeah, you're so right. It only takes a marginally strong singer to do acapella. Little mistakes don't show up at all. You can just get five "okay" guys to back up a strong lead singer, and the arrangement just magically sounds perfect.
@TrioxinToxin You are right about covers not usually being better than the originals, and you are right the original song of this is great, i do like Street Corner's because they bring modern day to it, and bring a good beat to it, thats why i like it, i can actually dance to it, the original is too slow, but we all have our opinions
@strasseneckesinfonie Yeah. I know and have performed with one of those guys. Little John is pretty daggum good, as are they all. Good a capella groups need strong voices from everyone to be good. And Street Corner Symphony is one of the best.

Much better than the original
As much as I love Committed, these guys were robbed. Tighter harmonies and clean transitions. Committed was a little sloppy in transitions and very "breathy" but nonetheless were very good. Loved this group though

@illestgyal The majority of the falsetto in this one is Little John, though Jeremy's does shine through in a couple spots.

@jewbowl225 I really find it amazing that someone who says they havn't seen season 2 makes an assumption that 1 group should have won it after 1 song. There is a GOOD reason they didn't win. That reason is COMMITTED.
