Correct assessment, we have all heard these promise many times before. We are looking to see what they can do for us now. Not what they can do for us many years in the future. It's pure electioneering, and nothing else. Jam tomorrow, but now we have (The Electorate) to put up with pork drippings.

Smoking absolutely is a problem. My grandmother died at 65 of second hand lung cancer and I believe it was because her husband smoked 20-40 a day for decades around her. It was never confirmed but she never smoked at all. They were born and lived in Sudan.
Completely ignoring the evidence of how stess effects the metabolism, how mental health effects self care. Anyone on benefits will lose the maintenance payments to the dwp if they have to stay on benefits no matter how little they need. So the child will see none of the benefit and so the one parent family will be no better off and the dwp will be quids in. Banning smoking indoors had no impact - in fact, smoking-related cancers are now higher than in 2000.
Why don't you ban people from smoking outside hospital doors and when you go shopping, you have to walk through the disgusting smoke
