The presence of the Lord is where I feel safe
As usual Dr. Sproul blesses my life again. It's such a shame I only got to know of him a few months before he went to be with the Lord. But in the time I have known him since then he has touched my soul and has become a dear friend to me. My he be crowned with many crowns to lay at the feet of our Lord.
Dd s excuse me? Explain to me (using the Biblical exegesis) how this man has said anything remotely cultic or falling within the category of propaganda?

I often wonder what our Lord felt as the final days and hours slipped away and the cross of Crucifixion grew larger... and yet He was DETERMINED to fulfill the Father's will. Even when mocked He hung there till he died ...for you and me. Sinners saved by Grace!! Oh what a Savior is ours!! Shalom and Maranatha!!!

I have heard OF RC Sproul for years but until just this week I had never heard him. I came across his sermons on here via John McArthur and I am really enjoying his teaching!

Thank you. The LORD is my Righteousness.
*Simple facts & simple questions for you.*
*Fact:* While innocent religious folks praying to Jesus in churches on All Saints' Holy Day (Sat, 1 Nov, 1755), a magnitude 8.8 earthquake followed by a tsunami hit the holy city of Lisbon, Portugal destroying almost every important church in the city & killing about 50,000.
*Fact:* On June 14, 2010, the 62 feet 'Touchdown Jesus' statue at Solid Rock Church in Monroe, Ohio was torched by lightning.
*Question:* When are you going to be intellectually honest & admit that Jesus the Messiah is also another man-made religious figure?
*Fact:* Fossil & DNA evidence proves evolution made man.
*Fact:* The big bang is the expansion of existing condensed matter. Nobody knows if the changing universe is eternal or if it was created from nothing. But without evidence you become 100% sure a God created everything from nothing.
*Question:* Can you prove God is not just a figment of your hallucinating delusional imagination?
*Fact:* The sin-sacrifice story of Jesus implies a superstitious God who values blood-sacrifice, which was common back then - e.g. sacrificing a goat for a new home.
*Fact:* If Jesus had Godly powers he would still be living on earth today performing miracles for every generation to prove his Godly powers. Resurrection & ascendance to heaven is a hoax that conveniently occurs in the past & easily dupes the gullible fools.
*Question:* Are you unable to realize that the superstitious hoaxer Christian writers created the resurrection hoax by making up fake testimonials that the disciples have witnessed an empty tomb & a risen Jesus?
*Fact:* Theologians tell you to thank God for giving life to you & also for giving life to animals for you to take their lives & eat them.
*Fact:* Theologians tell you to thank God for choosing you out of many praying patients to recover from illness as many other praying patients were ignored by God & died.
*Question:* Are you going to be intellectually dishonest & ignore that the charlatan theologians have fooled you to believe in an imaginary God by exploiting your hypocrisy, narcissism & arrogance?

Listened to this again tonight. Simply God glorifying, Jesus Christ exulting. Causing the heart to worship in awe. Oh for preaching like this in every part of the body of Christ on earth.

Fantastic man of God! Praise to the Lord!
I look forward to the day I can see RC in heaven and hear the warm words of his voice in person. He was one of the first men I listened to who preached the Word unfiltered and with a passion for it in his heart. So grateful God has worked through men like him to show the beauty of his purposes.
@Northern Wolf Only God knows where Ravi is. I never met the man or watched him but know that the actions he committed where horrendous and the fact that they went so unnoticed is unbelievable. I know there isn't a law against a pastor receiving a massage but to obtain a massage from a female who is not his wife is just unwise. I make no claims to know every man's heart but I am well aware of the existence of sin in each human heart and know very well the potential that lies within. The only heart I am accountable to before the Living God is my own and that is my focus. I hope I do see those pastors who have encouraged me in the faith (of which Ravi was not) but there is always potential for people who turn away from God to their own peril. Love, however, hopes all things, and I hope that those that I know who stand in the faith, continue to, until the day of their coming into glory.

R.C. the last video was just awful. Calling people in the church out publicly and telling the congregation about their sin.
What about the many years you smoked cigarettes and that is how you died. Where you called ou publicly?
Spugeon smoked too. So I think I must have been wrong in thinking it is a sin. I struggle with smoking puts me in the same category of ALL CHRISTIANS who smoke . I see so many great pastors obese, another sin big one worse than smoking . Look at RC Jr. Way over weight! Look at Spugeon!°°°!! So do I assume being obese and smoking are ok sins.

I too recently found his teachings by watching John MacArthur. He was a great man and a great teacher..
RC was used of God in my life teaching reformed theology in such a clear way that he help me grow in my new christian walk in a blessed way. I thank the Lord for RS's ministry every day.

I love RC Sproul! His teachings are so incredible the way RC unties it all it shows us all the pieces we need to know and then ties it all back together. And he does it humbly. I am very tired of the self-righteous teacher that points out everyone else's sin and not taking into consideration is that everyone makes mistakes, no one is perfect or without Sin

He said he is not good at reading poems, but his reading of the poem left me with amazement.
I talk to young people who claim to be Christian and see no real problem with living together because of a fear of marriage. The devil has done so well to condition the minds of the weak and try to separate us from God's commandments but I believe that The Holy Spirit is alive and working and I pray for the young and unwise to have their eyes open to the wrongdoing and sensitized to His pleasure to change their ways and live for Him. May we be baptized in the Holy Spirit and be justified by the sacrifice of Jesus!
Well said. Their fear of marriage is an inordinate and an irrational one. Marriage is a blessing from God to us.
I’ve listened to this message many times and I get blessed each time. The gospel is wonderful when faithfully preached and this man is as close to the apostle Paul in his faithful proclamation of the gospel that I’ve ever heard.

Praise God! Someone spoke to me regarding this a few days ago with a different interpretation & I prayed to God to reveal the truth! I did not search and this sermon just played after something I was watching.
I believe the interpretation that Sproul divides. Yah have mercy and may the truth be declared! It grieves my heart when our former brothers & sisters are slandered.
The best I have ever heard preach to me and teach me every time I listen. The Character of God revealed - His tender mercy making clothes for Adam and Eve. Just blows me away and my first real knowledge of Who my Creator is. How much I mean to Him and how much I want Him to know how much He means to me. It has to b😮Savior, my Redeemer. I am glad there is One that knows every thought I have and knows every deed and every word I say. 53:54 One to completely accurately know my heart 53:54 All the Glory to God. Amen. Amen

There is a beauty in the internet. The fact that this man has passed and his teachings have been spread to convert people (glory to God Psalms 51), as the comments show. The Lord is The Beauty we should all behold with guilty but loving eyes, knowing the sweetness in Christ and the remission of sins.
