I got one and installed it but I found it was pushing my doorframe out and after hanging from it came off. So I'm sending it back and getting the other kind. If you don't mind screwing up your door frame be my guess.
Let me tell you something about this bar. It wiggles non-stop. Ordered it recently and it moves around/rotates even with those bits. I bought it bc it was one of the few long enough for my door, but overall it’s poorly engineered
I would say it depends on : 1 : How good you set it up 2: How good the wall foundation 3: How tall is the ceiling from where you set it up 4: How much you weight.
I don't see how... Your face and upper chest will be going into your wall above your door at the upper position. Also, i wouldn't trust something like this for kipping/swinging.
This is what I've been looking for but do you think there's any chance of cracking drywall if I use it between two random spots on opposing walls (i.e., as opposed to inside a door frame)?
I don’t know about this brand specifically, but I got a no screw pull up bar like this for my bathroom, put it between two walls, and now I have about a foot long hole in my drywall to fix. I was worried about causing damage to the door frame and the instructions said it can work on walls, but I missed the part where it said solid walls like concrete. Long story short, it’s probably not the best option to put the bar between two walls made of drywall. I didn’t even use the bar yet… I was just tightening it so it would stay and the tension caused the drywall to break. 😅
@@Joshua.Anthonny you might be using it the wrong side or it’s not tight enough. I mentioned this on the video. It’s not suppose to turn if you use it on the right side
@@IsitWorthit1 Yeh I beleive even in my council house door frame wouldn't handle it screwed it suprisingly the hanging pull up bar are good the door frame are just to small to do wide arm pull ups
I totally agree, that one looks a lot more supportive, than the Iron gym. I've lost a few door frames, with that one lol.
Oh no :(
Thank you for the vid! just got this same model actually, will install today
Welcome! Hope you enjoy it!

its been over a year now, how has the product held up if you still have it? I'm not looking at this exact one but at one that uses a similar concept.
I no longer have it anymore to be honest.
I use a different one, still works great. My door frames have not been damaged
@@Briaaanz that’s good, what type is it?

Informative video I thank you sir
Welcome!
How long is it and how long is it’s max
Will it not destroy my wall, i got a space that is perfect for that product, 2 walls facing each other, will it not destroy the wall?
I feel like over time it might? But so far its still working fine for me
@@IsitWorthit1 Oh ok thanks
@cal8262 ah yes, the American wall, can't relate because we have solid concrete walls here
thanks dude

Excellent Thanks
You are welcome
Thanks bro

You can just use the wood frame around the door too. You just have to use your fingertips.

Used to do it as a kid when I did pull ups on a bar I felt like I could do it all day
Is this pullup bar from HANDSONIC? And do you reccomend other pullup bars or this one?
Link in the bio. But these are good but just have to be careful to not damage the wall foundation.
what is the maximum width it can reach?
I dont think they sell this one on amazon anymore but it was whatever was on the listing.
@@IsitWorthit1 I just bought this yest (Amazon France). It reaches over 97cm.
Cheers mate 👍
Cheers! :) Thanks for watching!
Does it feel secure when you do pull ups
Yes, but I feel like overtime as you use it more, it will start to get loose. But not like immediately.
@@IsitWorthit1 i got mine a few weeks ago, I wanted to return but its past the time, so I am stuck with it.... its crap
