- My channel is a place of positivity and happiness. I didn’t want to upload this video but I had enough. I have been abused for years I didn’t make it public only coz I chose to stay married to him. I didn’t make anything public even after leaving him it was only after I came to know what disgusting rumors he was spreading behind my back I had to set the records straight. There had been multiple incidents of abuses over the years with multiple witnesses, reports, anger management classes, counseling, hiring lawyers that’s what happens when you are abusive. And some of you asked why he hit me? I answered them all in this video. No I never cheated on him that’s not me. Adjust compromise all is needed in a marriage and I would happily do it all like I am doing in my current marriage coz how my now husband treats me. But with my ex all I got was abuse, disrespect and neglect but he had a lot of expectations though. Bottom line I am glad I was able to leave such a toxic person and with an wonderful man who deserves me.
U would have left him much more earlier. U have struggled a lot these 10 years. Stay happy and stay blessed. This is a lesson for each and everyone of us. Don’t pay heed to narrow minded people comments. They comment without knowing your struggling period. U keep up doing good things. Stay happy for ur daughters n Richard.
Thank you. It’s a cycle. That’s why leaving wasn’t even easy. When I was abused in India I left his house even stayed at my parents for a month only to find out I was pregnant and went back. And after that everytime violence occurred I honestly didn’t have a support system stopping me from going back. This time I could leave coz I seeked help from the professionals and they knew this would happen again and I must no go back. I went for counseling, sessions at women’s center to understand the cycle. I didn’t have that help to make me understand that emotionally also many times we stay for our kids. Thinking about their future and thinking what I can provide vs him. It’s lot more complicated than one can think. Also the societal pressure, pressure from back home . But this time I was able to cut everything and everyone off and that’s how I was able to leave and chose what’s best for me and the girls.

I got married at age of 21 with an army officer …tremendous mental torture and hampered my education ….but I did not wait long…just after 1.5 years I left him ..I know such people don’t change ever…you have so much patience…I am glad you overcame..marriage is for our happiness…I am pursuing my higher education…I cannot imagine how you lived 10 years….

Yes....i am myself a medico..in our profession it is normal to marry during internship...i married a highly educated guy...before marriage told them everything that i want to study and all..it was pretty much clear from my family side...they also showed them as very progressive family....but after marriage took a 360 turn...rumela mam is right ...before marriage such hypocrite people like everything about us dress , ambition and what not...but after marriage show true colors

Let me tell u something, even if you were dating someone, your partner does not have any right to be physically violent…. Infact no reason justify physical violence…the problem is not obly with the abuser but more with his /her supporters… who are justifying the anger issue. Lotz of love
