You get buffs from the water and the rock pillars. Rhamphy and thal are really good supports because they can provide buffs and get checkpoints that the terrestrial characters can’t access.

Out of the three dinosaurs that do bonebreak: -Tyrannosaurus is slow and can't catch anything without ambushing them, outside of a Spino or Sarco that is way too far inland. -Daspletosaurus is faster, but has a similar issue. Everything in the game can either outrun it's bonebreak or can pummel it into the dirt even after being bonebroken. The only exception to that rule is Albertaceratops, which still desperately needs a buff. -Out of everything in Anodontosaurus' kit, it's bonebreak is perhaps the only thing it has that isn't absurdly overpowered. When it can just decide to become immortal whenever it chooses, it having a bone snap attack is the least of your worries. The instant one gives you like 4 seconds of bonebreak, and if you get hit by the 30 second charge up bonesnap attack used by a creature with the mobility of a beached humpback whale with arthritis, you deserve exactly what is coming your way. The only playables that are overpowered with bonebreak attacks are those in mods. Otherwise, you almost always can easily evade a bonebreak, or can simply pummel whoever hit you with one into submission.
I think bonebreak needs a rework as it is right now personally, sure as you say stuff with bonebreak can be outran, but it is the case that 1 bonebreak is pretty much a death sentence for anything that isnt an apex. Whether it be the rex hitting you with a quick bonebreak for a stomp or a dasp keeping you still for it's friends, anos landing 1 quick bonebreak to slow you down, the mechanic is EASILY the strongest mechanic in the game that can assure your death faster than anything else. Reason is not only do you get slowed to limping speed but also disabling a good amount of abilities that could actually help with counter attacking or defending yourself while you cant move in the first place (example lamb's rodeo kick)
The TDM mode had no limit which got stale pretty quickly, king of the hill mode felt nice in my opinion due to the limits, though it still doesnt stop people spamming the tankiest thing available xD
The game mode is real fun but theres a lot missing here that make the game streamlined. For example - Control points aren't shown on the map, theres no kill feed, points are just big opaque bubbles/not a landmark location of interest and most importantly no feed back from the game on captured points. Nothing happens when a point is taken by either team. Little to no information is conveyed to players while playing. Maybe a crappy little text box will come up sometimes but thats it. They need some kind of announcer voice to commentate on the time limit, points, captures and kills.
I can't wait for game modes to be official, their real fun

pearls spawn underwater, crystals spawn on top of rocks usually, i haven’t seen mushrooms yet. rhamph and thal are the best for depositing buffs

There's no ETAs but with how its feeling so far i imagine it wont be too long
I already have a few problems for the mode, there’s no limit what u can play as, everyone is so uncoordinated, and everyone focus on center xD
