Chris is not only the singer of Lord of the Lost, but also their main songwriter and producer. He said many years ago that he also works as a producer in the pop field. In the 2000s, he was also responsible for some ringtones that tormented us back then. Here he was involved in the album in 2022 as a producer/songwriter: Nino de Angelo - Zeit heilt keine Wunden (Offizielles Video) ...and can also be heard on a song (in German): Nino De Angelo- Der Panther Chris was born in 1980. So he discovered music in the middle of the 80s. His role model is Roxette from the 1990s. I don't sing in the shower. I don't want the water to freeze to ice in shock, that would be impractical ;-)
lol…. Everyone sings in the shower or at least they should. I can’t remember a shower that didn’t have music playing. You should give it a try. Not gonna lie, everyone sounds great when they sing in the shower. I had no idea Chris produced ring tones, that is awesome. I am definitely excited to hear this album when it comes out. 🤘
Welcome back, Matt, and HAPPY NEW YEAR! So, LOTL on rotation and singing - sounds like me! 😊 I am back from Lordfest weekend with my teenage son. We had such a great time and so did a lot of Losties! My best birthday ever! I love the song. I grew up with Depeche Mode and synths. 1984 I bought People Are People as a child and I was sold forever. They have been such an important influence and part of my life, not only of my youth. Saw them dozens of times and still travel to their concerts when they come up with a tour. Today I am a weird mixture of being a lifetime Devotee (DM), a die hard Nightwish fan and a Lostie. All three bands for a very good reason. When Chris announced his solo project with synths driven songs I knew it from the start I would enjoy it a lot. And no, I do not think this could be a LOTL song. Somehow yes, technically, because a good song is a good song as long you can play it in any genre and it still is a good song. Yes, they could play it all together. But for me it is clearly Chris who follows his dream do do an electronic album like this. The lyrics here are deep and the song touches me. I prefer less "happy" synth songs or melodies. Darker ones. So, I Love You had to grow on me, first. But now, I have tears in my eyes, when I listen (and sing) to the song. Love it and the video and the artwork, too. Let us just enjoy art and the creativity of all these passionate artists who achieved to win a place in our hearts the one way or another... ❤
I am so glad you had a great time for your birthday. I saw the video they did on the prep for Lordfest, it was Awesome. They are just so much fun. I grew up on synth music as well. I have even seen Depeche Mode live. Now that I know it’s all electronic it makes sense that it’s not a band album. I can’t wait to hear it either way 🤘
Oh, yes! Always fun with the guys... I believe you had a great time, too. Over the pond. And a happy birthday celebration while visiting Europe? Much love from the hometown of Powerwolf (a one hour ride to Strasbourg)!
Its solo because he Chris love to experiment. He never did solo. He always talk about it. And as in the song "i was too afraid" He need to courage to change. Watch his shows before 2019 or 2020. He open up really slow.
As far as I know the album is going to be all electronic music. I didn't know if I would be interested in this, because electronic music is very much a hit and miss for me, mostly miss. But this is exactly the kind I like, this retro synthwave with a goth tinge, so so cool!
That makes sense as to why it’s not a Lord of the Lost album. I hope it’s all like this song. I am ok with most electronic music, but sometimes it just doesn’t work for me. 🤘
The second single is out, not sure if there will be a video for it, but I listened to it today and I liked it. Maybe not as much as this one, but it's still very cool. I think he's going for a similar vibe in the whole thing. Damn now I have to buy the album.
lol… all of these great albums to have to buy. I totally know the feeling. My music collection is insane and keeps growing. I created my own music server years ago, so my collection doesn’t take up as much space as it used to. Anyway, I want to check out the new single, but I will wait just in case there is a video.
I may have to pick your brain on that soon, I decided to cancel my Spotify subscription and digitize my CD collection, since Rokk doesn't have all the music I want yet. But it's a lot 😂
Honestly, it’s the best decision I have ever made. I use it all the time. I have avoided streaming because they don’t have a lot of the albums I have ( live or unreleased music or obscure). You just need a home server. I have a synology Nas that holds 12 TBs of content. Then you just use an app called Plex to build your library and access it. I use it everywhere (car, internationally, etc). You can either populate your own metadata or use the Plex system that does it. It’s pretty accurate and easy to work with.
This song on it’s own could probably work for Lord of the Lost, but maybe not a full album with this sound. Sounds a lot like some of the music I loved back in the 80:s and still listen to now but nostalgia is probably the primary reason why I still like those songs so I’m not very interested in new music that sounds like this.
I am totally with you on that. I grew up with this kind of music and hair bands. There are newer bands that do the same thing and it just doesn’t interest me. It could be that I have been loving all things Lord of the Lost that it still works for me. Only time will tell. 🤘
Thank you very much!
It’s an honor for me that you checked out my video. I can’t wait to hear the new album. I would love to sit down for an interview sometime 🤘

The water becoming ice might heart you but you would be kind cool as Elza
Just let it go. Let it go.
@@xydoit2024 Damn, I spilled my secret... ;-)
Just in case you don't know, tomorrow another Chris' song will be out "She Called Me Diaval" and this one is also coming with MV!
Awesome!! Thank you for sharing. I will definitely check it out. 🤘

Thank you. I had an Amazing time. It must be awesome being so close to Strasbourg. It was beautiful 🤘
Chris was born in 1980.
I am glad I didn’t mess that part up ( I have been known to be quite wrong sometimes)

Thank you for sharing. I love that he now has the courage to do this. I saw them in September and they were Amazing! Chris is such a great frontman. 🤘

Thank you for watching 🤘
