I'm totally not crying during half the video or anything, nahh ;) From the first time I heard this song, like what you said, I was kind of frozen in that moment and just let the song and the story and the emotions wash over me. Even though I've never lost a loved one like in the song, I could still feel with it, and it had brought tears to my eyes even with the very first time hearing it. Chris' voice is majestic and I _LOVE_ that besides his band LOTL he now also works on his solo project. So far, extremely happy with it and can't wait for the release of the album! 💖
Watching Alanna get consumed by the story and then describing it as an "introverted masterpiece", made me realise that aspects of this song echo my own life. It's such a sad, but beautiful song and the 80's vibe sounds incredible. Great review as always. Thank you. ❤
