I am glad your Covert came sharp. Mine came with very rough 30 degree edges that made it only useful as a prybar out-of-the-box. It sharpens up nicely with that good S35VN steel, taking it down to usable 25 degree edges. But those who know anything about real knives know how tedious and time consuming that is.
I got mine about 3 years ago when they were first released.I’m constantly using my knives and when I throw them its showing me if it can take the abuse.I throw my folders too .That’s what I do besides use my knives everyday at work.I have around 500-600 knives and I do have my favorites.The SOG Pentagon Series has been good to me.Solid and reliable.I have to sharpen my knives all the time.All different brands.It kind of relaxes me.Thank you for your input.😊🔪👍

my sog was 45 bucks and its by far my favorite knife, super strong, holds and edge that i can shave with even after splitting wood for fires
