  • One Winter day I wanted to try using my Pole Mount Surfboard to capture some glassy barrel shots... But I wanted to also record from my own POV what it's like trying to capture that angle. It is a LOT of work and honestly super annoying, but the results are cool! Here's a look into both angles, and all the in-between that happens when trying to get the shot.

"RAW POV Sessions" is a Playlist where I go back and upload all the raw footage from a session/day. No frills, just straight footage... wipeouts, makes, walking, talking, whatever I film with my GoPro.

HOW ANNOYING DOES IT LOOK TRYING TO CAPTURE THIS? 😆 The results are worth it though... this was back during one of my first times every trying the board out.
Not sure what was wrong with my GOPro in the mouth mount either... clips came out weird on some, and not sure why.

As someone who is learning how to surf, the tail cam is pure gold. Clears out some questions I had about how to paddle, when to get up, etc. Honestly, a more in depth surfing tutorial for complete beginners with your own commentary and with this tail cam would be amazing. Cool content you got with that set up!

Yes! Thanks for busting out the tail cam. It’s such a cool and unique perspective. Especially for those beautiful barrels. Lastly, anyone that rides barrels this well should have a board caddie.😄👏🏼👏🏼✌🏼

I love all your videos. Pretty sure I caught that spot in Fall and it was amazing. How uncomfortable is the mouth mount, 1-10? Do you have to take it out after a period of time?
