Sorry no - it's bloody awful, this is a great Ry Cooder song, it doesn't need this over the top fancy orchestration....collaborating with Van Dyke Parks - why? He's self centred and has no taste.

@@bpbatlaw Full Disclosure: The guitar and hands are mine. Van Dyke asked me to learn the solo (I did - both parts!) and "lip synch" it for the video, because Ry (who is playing it on the recording) had injured his hand and couldn't even fake it.
