I do kinda miss his interactions with chat, like at 1:28, or during one of his FF streams where he read messages from some quite interesting chat members with interesting names.
Those really were awesome, it kinda feels less alive with the recordings, kind of like I’m watching a let’s player or UA-camr compared to the once-streamer he is. Seeing chat come to conclusions, talk amongst each it other, react to Vinny, and his interactions with chat as a whole were incredible.
At 4:00 , let us pay our respects to chuggaaconroy who lost every cent and presumably hours to this minigame, while vinny does it first try.

I love that one of my favorite games also makes for a really fun randomizer. The masks are prob y it’s so enjoyable, randomly unlocking content is both new but not too crazy or different from the actual intended progression

I know that he's just behind that wall scroll, afraid of the ever-looming end, but still. Imagine if you didn't find him there. You'd probably think that he went out of town to take his own life before the Moon could.
Honestly had the game not been intended to be family-friendly that probably would have happened.
@@deffdefying4803 It's certainly how I would have written it, if I was writing for something like this and wasn't constrained by the 90's interpretation of family friendly content. Though come to think of it, it'd probably be right at home in a Yoko Taro game too.
A Yoko Taro game that's basically Majora's Mask would probably kick ass. But whether to set it in the Drakengard universe or the Nier universe? (the latter came about due to certain events in the original Drakengard, funnily enough)

@@KonoGufo Oh believe me, I know all about Drakengard. It's one of those games that, despite having a weirdly compelling story, is pretty rough to play nowadays.
I don't know what Yoko Taro is currently working on (other than certain FFXIV raids), but I hope that his continued success permits him to give the original Drakengard the remake/refinement treatment like the original Nier got.
It's is rather dark. You know, that darkness reminds me of something I had forgotten.

I feel like it's the worst rubberbanding in any game I've played, but that might also just mean it's comparatively the best game I've played that has rubberbanding in it so it feels especially bad.
@@rolandoftheeld Check out F-Zero X and GX on higher difficulties. (Read: above the lowest) The rubber banding is utterly outrageous.
@@lilwyvern4 My most memorable experience with this idiotic mechanic was in need for speed carbo, where a speedtrap race still featuring rubberbanding was kind enough to spell out the actual speeds rubberbanding would accelerate the AI to, and it got as high as 870kph if you were leading by a wide enough margin.

I love how the first thing that happens here is screaming menu sounds.
I had a dream around the time this was being streamed and I dreamed that Vinny was playing Majora and it was going to be the last ever live stream he did.
It was really nice and emotional, he would keep talking about how much he would miss doing streaming and how much streaming has changed his life for the better, he would reminisce on all the past times he had played Majora and bringing up old jokes he had done before when playing it.
Vinny didn't explain why he was going to stop streaming but in the dream it was maybe 20 or so years in the future so that might explain why. It was comforting for me knowing that after so many years Vinny stayed persistent on streaming and making people happy, it was also nice to know that I had been with him through most of his journey too, laughing at his stupid jokes and funny voices, reminiscing myself on how much he has change MY life for the better.
When I woke up I was scared as I thought that all of that might of been real, but as I went onto twitch and saw another new vod for Majora's Mask Randomized I knew that that experience would be something to happen much later on.
That almost wasn't a dream...
Thank goodness that's all cleared up, I don't know what I'd do without Vinny

The extra fucked thing about vinny first timing the postman is that it can land in a sub frame and be literally impossible to win on top of being a perfect hit to begin with. If I remember right on certain speed runs he was essentially a kiss of death moment.

If anything can you randomise just the music for a playthrough that to me is the funny and interesting part. Items being in random spots is ok but hearing a miniboss theme when you enter a shop is hilarious.

the toilet hand jumpscared me so bad as a kid i was always afraid to go to that room, period. i remember having a nightmare where the carpenters were carrying it through clock town on a palanquin and it was going to take over the world. fixed camera angles can really add a lot
