Redead screams are magic. Its like how hearing the scream of a mandrake root kills you. Hearing the scream of a Redead will paralyze you. Its how they catch prey. A better physical example are the Redeads from Triforce Heroes, as they have an actual shockwave.
Yeah, it's the same in Hyrule Warriors - the screams of Gibdos and Redead Knights have a shockwave and they work on every playable character, up to and including the likes of Ganondorf and Fierce Deity Link, with the sole exception of Beast Ganon since he's immune to hitstun entirely. So it can be assumed that Redead screams are some sort of paralysis spell.

Vinny said he wanted to make the playthough short, and Random Ocarina basically put a halt on 70% of the game until you find one of them and that can take a LONG time, either Fairy Ocarina or Ocarina of Time.
Kokiri sword is easily replaceable with deku sticks. And you can replace the ocarina with a bottle with a glitch. But is so god damn annoying to do it every time

This was a wonderful highlights video with a perfect end, a nice, somber speech from Vinny about the importance of Ocarina of Time and the passage of time, and then back pain.
I think the best thing about the blupee is that the text associated with it is like a motivational speech. It's almost like the game is saying "This one's not what you wanted, but don't give up! Try again!"
I love how Vinny gets the ''musical note'' item, which is a beta thing before they replaced it with Link staring at the Ocarina, and It still works Funny also that Vinny goes through Dodongo's Cave as Adult Link, which is actually what they intended during the beta, said dungeon being obviously one of the earliest dungeons to have been made since it appears so much on old beta screencaps
For anyone who may be as confused as Vinny was about adult Link not being able to pull Bomb Flowers but being able to move the statue in Darunia's room: The likely explanation is that Bomb Flowers are hard coded to require the Goron Bracelet, and seeing as how the devs never expected players to become adult without having the Bracelet, there would be no reason to add some extra code to let adult Link pluck them naturally Likewise with the statue, they never expected players to be an adult and not have the Goron Bracelet, so there was no point in coding it to need the Bracelet, thus Link can move it naturally

Redead screams are magic. Its like how hearing the scream of a mandrake root kills you. Hearing the scream of a Redead will paralyze you. Its how they catch prey. A better physical example are the Redeads from Triforce Heroes, as they have an actual shockwave.
Yeah, it's the same in Hyrule Warriors - the screams of Gibdos and Redead Knights have a shockwave and they work on every playable character, up to and including the likes of Ganondorf and Fierce Deity Link, with the sole exception of Beast Ganon since he's immune to hitstun entirely. So it can be assumed that Redead screams are some sort of paralysis spell.

The people telling vinny that not getting the ocarina is bad clearly have never played a randomizer.
Vinny said he wanted to make the playthough short, and Random Ocarina basically put a halt on 70% of the game until you find one of them and that can take a LONG time, either Fairy Ocarina or Ocarina of Time.
Kokiri sword is easily replaceable with deku sticks. And you can replace the ocarina with a bottle with a glitch. But is so god damn annoying to do it every time

Besides, using Bottle Ocarina kinda beats the point of Shuffle Ocarina in the first place. Might as well not suffle it if you want to always use it.

This was a wonderful highlights video with a perfect end, a nice, somber speech from Vinny about the importance of Ocarina of Time and the passage of time, and then back pain.
I think the best thing about the blupee is that the text associated with it is like a motivational speech. It's almost like the game is saying "This one's not what you wanted, but don't give up! Try again!"
Its also the text given by the Owl, perfectly describing the absolute torture of running into a blue rupee
I love how Vinny gets the ''musical note'' item, which is a beta thing before they replaced it with Link staring at the Ocarina, and It still works
Funny also that Vinny goes through Dodongo's Cave as Adult Link, which is actually what they intended during the beta, said dungeon being obviously one of the earliest dungeons to have been made since it appears so much on old beta screencaps
For anyone who may be as confused as Vinny was about adult Link not being able to pull Bomb Flowers but being able to move the statue in Darunia's room:
The likely explanation is that Bomb Flowers are hard coded to require the Goron Bracelet, and seeing as how the devs never expected players to become adult without having the Bracelet, there would be no reason to add some extra code to let adult Link pluck them naturally
Likewise with the statue, they never expected players to be an adult and not have the Goron Bracelet, so there was no point in coding it to need the Bracelet, thus Link can move it naturally
Could just say the statue was hollow so it could be moved easily to access the passage behind it.
