@@kevsonkeyboard Each area in Spelunky (except for the Jungle) has mounts with unique abilities. Mounts allow you to double jump, and by pressing the jump button again after the double jump will activate their unique ability (except for the Rock Dogs at Volcana).
Axolotls in Spelunky have the ability to teleport after trying to jump with it a third time, a sparkling effect playing out to where the Axolotl teleported (you can see it happen on the level's upper boundary.
