I understand why some would prefer to just purchase a preloaded USB, but I just have to say that’s not a very well-done product. You can see how the bezels are not set up correctly for a vertical display. Yes the games play correctly but it would look so much better if it was done correctly. Just my 2c, I have a control panel on order so I appreciate your demo on installing it.
Showed this to my wife and she said "it's a pinball table, it won't look authentic and you already have a cab" then i showed her Pacman lol... SOLD! Looks stunning on that screen!
OK, I'm confused. I just recently purchased an AT Games Legends Pinball console. Is this a USB Flash Drive with preloaded arcade games that you can simply plug into the ALP flash drive port and play them, or is there more to it?
Congratulations. Yes, you can purchase preloaded flash drives with arcade games and the ALP will recognize. Nothing else to it. Either load them yourself on a drive or purchase preloaded, stick into your ALP and play.
@@JohnPauls Thanks for the fast response! So I take it that the when you purchase an arcade pack on the site you provided: *famcavearcade* that they are preloaded USB Flash Drives and ready to use on the ALP? If so, that will give me the nudge to go ahead and purchase the Arcade Control Panel from At Games.
You’re most welcome. I do not endorse the site but that is where I acquired mine. Worked well for me. Just don’t go over 7500, will take a while to load on the ALP.
Which one exactly did you purchase from their site...i want to purchase the same one as I have the Atgames pinball as well. Let me know....awesome video.
Thanks for sharing/recommending this. Expecting my ALP shipment (hopefully by Friday!) and decided to pick up this vertical game pack as well. I read from another commenter that you can load your purchased games on the same stick? I bought several game packs from AtGames and have been looking for a nice, low profile flash stick in case…but not needed if I can just add to this one. Also, any issues with any of the games on here? CHEERS 🍻
You are most welcome. If you order the games on a preloaded stick, you will need to transfer over any purchase tables to the new memory stick. Only one stick will be in the ALP at one time.
Buying a low pro unless it comes from the arcade game loader, won’t be used as you can’t transfer from a loaded sauce stick to a fresh new one, they’re usually locked.
@@JohnPauls All is well in ALP land! Just wish there were more licensed tables available…not to mention the RARE tables around the holidays. Have a Switch with a bunch of tables, so might hook that up. Not to mention an older (but not too weak) PC collecting dust that might be able to expand my options more with Steam.
Also grabbed some weird stick with a ton of vertical games too. Extremely WONKY, but there’s plenty there too. So far, so good. Ready for a tournament, if the dumb Arcadenet will ever work 🤦🏻♂️ STUPID
Hey great video thank you! One question about the CoinOpsX USB, if I already have a USB stick installed with my Zaccaria tables loaded on it do you know if I would be able to copy the contents of the CoinOpsX USB drive over to my already installed flash drive?
I believe now you can dependent on what update you are on. I had an issue transferring purchased zaccaria and Taito packs a few months ago. Wouldn’t allow me to play them. The update fixed it.
Thank you very much which one did you order I went on there I don’t know what to look for I’m not very good at computers at all or what to look for for this pinball machine
@@JohnPauls i’m a little confused I see you have it working on your pinball machine but the listing does not say it’s for the pinball machine it says it’s for the upright vertical machine am I looking at the right one??🤔
What firmware are you running. I have the latest and it has tons of problems with USB and CoinopsX. Lots of freezing/crashing. Also bought USB from same company.
@john paul where you purchased the usb with the games on it i bought this legend pinball for some foster kids & ill love for them to have more game to play on the machine. Thanks
You’ll need to download CoinOpsX first on the ALP, just like the zaccaria and taito tables are downloaded. Then you can plug it in and either use the partition for your purchased games (ie zaccaria, etc) or not and just use the games on the USB alone. Your choice.
Hello I'm a new watcher of your videos I stumbled upon it today by accident which I'm glad I did because I'm going to order that USB drive of games thanks to you just a quick question for you if it's no bother One I thought I saw Popeye and I thought I saw a root beer taper with The Simpsons. And any chance do you know how many arcade emulators there are on the one that you have thanks again have a happy holiday keep up the great work
Yo john, Where did you get all of those games on there did you do it yourself I’m not very computer savvy maybe you could sell me a thumb drive with all that stuff🤔🤔 I bought one off eBay it has like 350 games maybe it’s the same thing I don’t know but I see on yours it says a Artari, Coleco vision, etc, all different stuff
Never update without checking Forums, Reddit, Facebook, etc. AtGames is absolutely terrible at software updates. Something is broken with each consecutive version. Haven’t updated since OTG haptics were fixed. Mine still works.
@@JohnPauls I had someone on ebay load up my raspberry pi lol, it cost $20 more but i mean, it made the entire experience plug and play so for me it was worth it. It doesn't seem too hard to configure but it's nice to let someone else worry about that ish lol.
I’ve followed your advice on many ALP mods but I regret dealing with FamCave. They lost my shipment and then strung me along for a month claiming they would send a new one in mere days. When they failed to send me anything after 3 months, I finally gave up and disputed the charges. Avoid dealing with these folks. Bad business.
Hope the dispute got resolved. Sorry you had a bad experience although I have no affiliation with them. Greatly appreciate the feedback to prevent others from experiencing the same.

Absolutely agree.
The best thing would be if it had a choice for vertical games, and a favorites would be awesome too.
Agreed

Question: I'm waiting for a control panel but wonder if a paired game controller can play any of the coinops games? Thx for the video.
I tried pairing Xbox controllers with no luck, I believe only the AtGames Legends Gamepad connects to it at this point.

They provide instructions on how to load the stick on the ALP along with adding your purchased ALP tables to the same stick.
Sorry for the typos

A few games run funky but it’s usually the oddballs that ran funky even in their time.

5.55.0
Did you figure it out? I don't need the headache if i pick one of these up. I might actually have my old laptop repaired just to get that setup lol.
How do you access 2 player mode on games like Galaga, Donkey Kong, and Pac-Man? there is no P1 or P2 buttons. Thanks in advance
It’s in the settings menu. In game.
You’re welcome.
If i bought the preloaded usb do i need a PC?
Not necessarily unless you’re transferring anything to it. All can be done within the Alp to load your existing tables on the new stick.

Thanks for watching. I’ll try to get you a count later. Many emulators although running the 7500+ does slow down the process of finding games.
How did you get the usb with all that on it?
Online. Etsy / EBay although one recent customer had an issue ordering through him.
Is there only one 7500 games build ? And it works with the upright and the pinball ?
Correct. The sauce is available online for those that want to search. This just makes it easy for those that cannot. 7500+ works with upright and ALP

Not sure, I’ll try tonight.

Not through USB AddonX. Only VPX, Future Pinball through OTG.
