Arkansas, from a one Mizzou fan to you all. I would like to say that if there is one thing that we know best is failure and disappointment from Mizzou football. This year has been a miracle year of a season. But, with this hiring of Coach Petrino, I had to step back and retract my memory of those years he was your HC. Man, was I glad he wasn't there anymore. Yet, when Drink was on the fire bomb seat I wanted so bad for UM to hire Petrino from Missouri State as the new head coach. I believe, I was the only one in my state who wanted this, because this man knows how to coach and lead young men into battle and win-win! This is an amazing hire. All the experience and know-how of coaching in the SEC from the old school to the new is in one man. He will make Sam Pittman better and your recruiting stronger! It was hard for me to swallow when I heard Petrino was going back to Hog land. It will make this so-called rivalry even harder to win for Mizzou now. Let him do his coaching and it will take time, but in the end, Arkansas will be back to their winning ways. From one Mizzou fan to you all in Arkansas, don't give up on Sam and don't under estimate these two men together on one team, wish we had him, even with our amazing young OC...best of luck Hogs!
“How you use the players that you have…” bingo!! I hope this next comment ages well, but I really think coach Pittman hit a home run hiring coach BP. Wishing the Hogs nothing but success!! Woo damn pig!!
I think this guy won 11 games in a season at Arkansas... Arkansas... Why the hell would y'all fire him in the first place? Y'all still haven't recovered from firing an 11 win coach. What gives?
I watched the pressers by both the Petrino & Pittman today. Pittman was his same old laid back self with little emotion about anything. However I took note of one thing Petrino said about his contacts with Pittman about his hiring. Petrino said his female agent made a phone call to Pittman relating his interest in the OC job. Pittman returned that agent's call to Petrino. Petrino & Pittman just talked a few minutes but made an appointment for later when both could have a lengthy conversation. Petrino said that second conversation with Pittman was an hour or longer but Petrino noted when they hung up, that Pittman gave him no offer on the OC job. Pittman had stated himself he interviewed five people for that OC job. I would bet that agent then made a call to Yurachek when Pittman failed on a job offer. Yurachek made the hiring decision on Petrino that I think would have never made by Pittman. Pittman wants Petrino like a woman with a rocky marriage wants a playboy model for her marriage counseling.
So, let me get this straight: not only are you suggesting that Sam Pittman had nothing to do with hiring Petrino (false) But you are also suggesting that Sam Pittman hates the fact that he is here, because he will build the offense up and win games? Right. Because head coaches hate winning games. The last thing they want is a good offensive coordinator. You rode the short bus didn't you?
@@Michael-jw6et Pittman would have already been fired at every SEC school in the conference except Vandy. (an absolute fact) Pittman is still in Fayetteville because of one person and from what can be gathered from the sports mass media that one person made his decision to keep Pittman based on a long meeting between the two on Sunday the day after the Florida International game. I guess I need to identify that one person to someone as closed minded as you. YURACHEK I also think it is logical to assume under all the aforementioned circumstances that Pittman exited that Sunday meeting not as much in charge of the Razorback program as he was before that meeting. I also noticed Pittman's demeanor at the Duke game with Petrino. Pittman simply did not look like a happy man over Petrino being hired, same way yesterday at the presser. If Pittman cared so much about winning games. Cody Kennedy would have went out the door long ago. However you keep worshiping Pittman & ignore everything else about a football coach that has an overall losing record at Arkansas after four years.
Coach seems very humble. May god bless him and his family. Woo Pig

Just wait until OU and UT come on board! Arkansas will be lucky to be .500 every year!
We're lucky to be .500 as it is. @@madmax8949
Man it's great to have Bobby back! Watching highlights from 2012 really brings back all the memories! WPS
You mean 2011. 2012 was John L Smith which was a train wreck
Arkansas fans needed hope. Hope arrived in the form of beating Duke in basketball and BP returning. WPS

It was a whole controversial scandal. But he's back now that all that matters
So many jokes. So little time.

@@WarHog38KCS Yurachek knows about as much as I do about football. He was never a coach. He played basketball at a limp wristed liberal arts school.
That's a good analogy. Pittman had to hold his nose and do what Yurachek said to do.
Coach BP is still hungry. I am excited for him to be a Razorback again! Choked me up 🥹.
Jesus, stop torturing the poor guy. He knows he _ucked up.
He don't care, he has no shame!
@madmax8949 cause he's a dog 🐕 lol you're a troll as hater.
