On the album it’s Thom Yorke from Radiohead that’s singing with her. She asked him to do the male vocals because the actor of the movie isn’t a good singer haha
I absolutely LOVE this film and sountrack. One of the greatest on my list. Side note: When I first heard Ovule from Fossora the horn riff instantly reminded me of the melody in New World. I wonder if that was intentional?
YAY!! Im glad you enjoyed the album and the film!!! Dancer in the Dark is heartbreaking but so amazing! Björk did an amazing job both acting and creating the soundtrack for the film! Im really excited to see your Medulla reaction! It can be pretty off putting at first because its sounds very unfamiliar. I hope you can enjoy it on first listen though :)) thanks for reacting!!
You are listening to album version of I've seen it all, but reading the film version lyric. Originally in the film it is sung by Peter Stormare, but in the album version she sings with Thom Yorke. She used here beats that are like train sounds. When you see the movie you will see. Before watching movie prepare some tissues, so you can wipe tears :)
I would love to see your reaction to this movie ! Btw the songs in the movie differ , in the lyrics even , it is like two different soundstracks , for different listenings . Enjoy 🙏 ( oh you watched it already ah ! )
@@luggareviews it's okay btw björk did a movie before this when she was 19 actually it's called the juniper tree it's a more artsy slow burn folk tale type of movie So not for everyone watch it if you want I like it personally
This brought me back! Almost forgot about this soundtrack. The movie is a hard but must watch. When I saw it in he Theatre all the room was sobbing at the end.
trier asked her to write the music and while working on it she got more involved until she finally agreed to play selma. it was a four years long fight for every single note and it was worth it for every second of this album. one of her best works in my opinion.
Drawing Restraint 9 has some good songs, but I think you shouldn't review them in a video, just listen to them alone. Sometimes it's too experimental and it has a lot of instrumentals.
Remember the Radiohead's MTV beach house thing? The "FAT UGLY DEAD!" guy who jumps into the pool after screaming like a maniac and almost electrocutes himself? Yeah that's Thom Yorke and he sings with Björk on "I've seen it all", in the album version at least. Peter Stormare sings his parts in the movie version of the song.
@@luggareviews wait and see. Maybe you'll react to Thom Yorke's solo albums later on, he did a soundtrack as well, it was for the artsy horror movie Suspiria (2018)
I saw this movie back in the days. It was heartbreaking. I cried in the cinema. ❤😊😢 the movie is devastating but the music is genious!😂
I cried beyond, I saw it in the movie theater.

Oh I didn‘t know that, that‘s cool :)
Because I also just started with pablo honey going into Radiohead! The Bends will be next very excited :D
Radiohead and Björk : master minds of music . They go together hard to digest for some people , but they are true geniuses !
Yas, let's go! She won the Golden Globe, no less.
Feel free to do movie reactions since you're a self-proclaimed cinephile.

The Fiona Apple album Fetch the bolt cutters reignited my curiosity in music making. It's new, it's inspiring, it's challenging.
love this ,you should react to more queen björk music and also arca, shygirl, rosalia, victor frannk, fiona apple ❤️

I love this ST and omg the movie is amazing and heartbreaking
This movie ripped my heart out. It's brilliant but what a heavy watch.

Dude you really wanna miss watching a human listening to the most björkiest thing ever on camera??
Yes you can really skip DR9 both the OST and the film. The film is a project by her ex (the guy she wrote about on Vespertine and Vulnicura) .
I am a big fan of bjork.
I have watch the movie only one time on theater .
I can’t watch this movie again.
Very good movie but hard to watch.

The vocalist must have really changed haha

This is unrelated but I think you should listen to the Fugees the score and then the miseducation of Lauryn Hill.
Ich lieeeebe Medulla! Freu mich :)
I've Seen It All in the album version does not make justice for the movie version.
