This is a terrific album to check out sound equipment on, it just sounds so beautiful and each sound seems to have a purpose, it's own time to shine for some time until the next one comes along.

The more you listen to this album the better it gets and don't skip disc 2 it has some great songs on it.

I can not recommend the basement session for In Rainbows enough it's mindblowing, and when you get to The King Of Limbs the basement session not only has 3 great songs that aren't on the album, but it sounds far better than the studio album does. It's a very experimental album to begin with and it really shows what a great project it really was when they play it live. The had to get a second drummer (Clive Deamer from Portishead) because the percussion was so intricate (and insane) that they couldn't recreate it live so instead they basically reimagined the entire project from scratch and the result is incredible.

Dont worry the last song will knock that happy mood you're in back down a notch 😂

A lot of fans think is their best album, and almost every song on the album sounds totally different from the previous one.

You should see the basement session from in rainbows. They play it live even better than the album.

even though it has a lot of vocals, i think this is a good example of early post rock like Slint and Mogwai. it does not follow typical rock motifs. there is a build up in most songs and hardly any, if any, choruses. this might be the greatest album of all time for me because it breaks so many conventions of what you think indie rock should sound like.

It's interesting that you described Bruja as a fireball crashing onto Earth because the following song is Incendio which means fire or blaze.

I wish I could say I love this album all the way through, and for the most part I think I do, but Our Love Lies is just so dull and unpleasant in a different way that I'm not a fan of.
