his drum set so gorgeous
i love jake burdrick! he so underrated as a musician! he amazing i really want to be his high level of skill as a musician!
Did anyone hear the MONSTER pinch one of the guitarists hit at 1:44 ?
Mike Beagan most likely Alex, he’s an insane guitarist and throws extra stuff like that in live performances
Mighty A.G. did it.
Sounds like a metal version on drums lol he loves his pedal
his kit.. so bootiful
Rocking the Seattle jerseys👏🏿️👏🏿️👏🏿️👏🏿️
Bring back the sonics
1:59 is so simple but yet SO tasty
So that girl behind, watched the entire song on her phone screen . Way to appreciate the privilege of being backstage... -_-
Not my favorite band, but this guy is pretty solid.
I could only wish that I could see them live
so dope!
never thought ryan reynolds would be the drummer of mayday parade 😂
1:57 sick!
that girl watched the entire song BACKSTAGE through her phone taking a video she will never watch

*****
we are still talking about irrelevant stuff right?
Elee90 ummm..
Ok cool good for her i guess
2:24 hm
Bad ass
Real solid drummer
He’s really good but I like how he plays on the album better. He goes a little crazy with the kick.
In the original recording before May Day double bass was used to follow the guitars listen to the original by Kid names Chicago
live performances are always different from the studio recordings. that and he's been playing this song since 2007. you get bored doing the same thing repeatedly, so why not spice things up?
Any one noticed that the others in the band are barefoot?
Dopepeep not everyone the guy with the red guitar has shoes on
srry idk his name
Derek Sanders (vocals) is always barefooted in all live performances.
anyone know what kind of kit he uses?
is a sjc custom drums
SJC Drums i think 9x12 14x16 16x18 18x22
Would've never known he played a double kick.. seems really unnecessary
In the original song when he was in a kid named Chicago it was played with double bass following the guitar riff
Dude his timing blows.
What does timing mean? Subdivision? Or his tempo? Or not being in sync? Im pretty sure he has a metronome going in his ear too
It's not a metronome. It's an in ear monitor. I know this song inside out. His timing is fine.
usually they add click to his in ear monitor :)
Yeah its a monitor and plus they have a custom click so they dont play songs faster or slower and the band sounds more in sync, and his timing is fine, he s just dividing a few drum fills at half tempo so they sound as if they where off, but he s solid.
You are probably During the time difference between the camera thing right next to his drum in the crowd being far away singing. Because he’s pretty dang good at drums lol
Bad music
It's not bad music. It's good music, it's just not your preference. Don't be a dick.
