I'm honestly just sick of looking at the Shure 7B. Robin on Howard Stern has been using it for 20 years nobody cared. Joe rogan's crew hooked it up no you can't have a podcast without it. Kids blowing $400 just because. There's tons of shootouts with the sm58 with a little EQ, blindfold shootout sounds exactly like that $400 7B. Same with the Pyle 57 knockoffs I track with. I got an audio engineering degree from Full sail 20 years ago. I'm not going to be fooled by brand name hype.
Yeah, I mean I like it, it works good for what I need it to. “Shure” it cost me 400 bucks lol, but I wanted one to use for different instances. That Miktek PM9 oddly sounded the best in my opinion towards the end. 👊🏻
Couldn't throw the Shure sm58 in the honorable mentions? It's such a classic vox mic.
