Metformin depletes your b12. B12 deficiency causes tingling in hands and feet. You needed a b12 supplement

I have missed you!! Im happy you are taking care of yourself (getting help, its hard- also its self love).
I am a type 1 (a insulin resistant type 1 idk how that works- hormones sucks)

Hey Jordan!! Hope you are well! Thanks for the message. 🙂 Hormones can be so frustrating, sorry you have to deal with that, I know diabetes can be a lot. 💛

I am also tired of a life long battle with my weight and trying every diet only for a temporary fix. I tried to talk to my primary care physician about ozempic yesterday but she just glossed over it and rushed me out the door. I go to Kaiser.

So I would be super interested to follow your results if you decide to go the Ozempic route. I had weight loss surgery in July 2021, and had success. But I’m still probably 60-80 pounds from my goal, and I’ve been back to struggling with my binging and sugar/carb cravings for months now. I’m gaining weight, though I don’t know how much because I’m so afraid to get on the scale, and I can’t seem to get it under control regardless of the mental health meds and BED medication I’m on. I’m sick and tired of being sick and tired, and I’m terrified that I’m just going to gain everything back and be miserable all over again, back to hating myself, etc. So, if you do go that route, please try to update us when you feel up to it. Good luck, whatever you decide!

Tingles can be a sign of low vitamin b which could be a side effect.
