There is a Gym and Spa that is just beside the lobby, we did not visit these which is why they are not in the video.
I am curious to see what the gym looks like.

I was there in June 2018 and it was by far my favorite trip. We did the Buena Vista mega combo excursion which had horseback riding, steam / mud bath, hot springs, a huge water slide, and 7 ziplines that took you over large mountainous areas. It was a once in a lifetime experience that I suggest everyone do if they are in Costa Rica.

Yes off the beaten path is much better, buuut a couple nights at an all inclusive is worth trying sometimes

We can help with transportation, golf cart or atv rental and recommend numerous of the amazing restaurants in our area! All inclusive is convenient but its more expensive and you don't get the real experience of this amazing country!
Every year my sister,brother in law,brother,a Friend and I plan a trip to celebrate Our Birthdays.. We usually take it end of April or beginning of May.. (birthdays from March,Apri,last one in May). We decided to visit Costa Rica 2020 but covid didn't allow it.😢 We are finally taking Our trip in 24 days. Staying at this Resort. Came across your video and it made me very excited for Our trip. I freakin love this video! I am going to RIU Guanacaste, the Palace is fully sold out for the month of July 2022. However, comparing the two, I just think I will have more fun and interaction than the Palace. I could care less about the white paint and LED lights at the Palace. My gut is telling me that I'm gonna enjoy the RIU Guanacaste better than the Palace. I will provide an update on my UA-cam channel once I return to the states in July. I loved your video. We are going 8/18/24. I was getting nervous because of some very recent reviews I'd read. Stating rundown, room door locks not locking, air conditioning not working. Food terrible. Im hoping its mord like uoyr video. I need air conditioning in ny room. Thanks for doing the videos!
Most reviews that get posted are negative reviews and those people's situations most likely got sorted out. Running a business like a hotel has a lot of maintenance and things can happen last minute like an AC that quits workimg (we know as we have a small resort in Samara, which you should stay at! 😊)

Thanks for the Video. We're going to stay there in May 30 to June 3. We cruise alot ,but with Covid-19 hit the ship so hard . We decided to go back to the All Exclusive . That place look very nice. This really shows people what there getting and there is no gimmick!

I just booked this place for me and my daughter for may 2023. Celebrating her getting into college. How do I find a list of activities that are included and what is offered at a cost? I already looked at rain forest and horse back riding but wondering what the hotel offers.

Great video, very comprehensive. We're considering a tour the first week with an all inclusive stay the second. We were looking at the RUI Palace but the bathroom is in the bedroom which wouldn't suit my sister and adult daughter sharing. However we are a group of 6 without children so not sure this is really for us. What are your thoughts? Kind regards.

Great vlog . we're just sat at home (England) thinking where to go on our nxt holiday and Costa Rica is an option.This hotel came up..looks good but queuing for the restaurants puts me off a bit .a bit like queuing at a canteen .We like to have a few evening drinks then eat later but that doesn't sound possible here if you have to queue from 6pm.!😩..Also are there any off site bars or a small town so you don't feel couped up for 2 weeks ..Cheers Guy 👍
What you should do is come stay with us in Samara at our vacation rentals. We've worked it out, by the time you pay for your all inclusive for 2 people it's not cheaper. Here our rentals are more comfortable and we have a nice pool. It's $145 to $155 a night in high season and less in the other months. That leaves you $220+ a day for food and drinks. (this is basing an all inclusive at $365 a day for 2 people) We are a short walk to town with many restaurants (where you don't have to cue) plus bars and more. Also you're not stuck in a glorified jail haha. All inclusives are great for a couple days but they get old real quick. There is some seafood options but not a lot which is odd

I am checking in here Saturday and wondering what is charged to your card at check in arrival? Is there a daily resort fee/deposits that are added to the booking total (booked through the app)

Hi there, Going to CR in a few days if I can find a halfway reasonable flight. I'm taking my drone...are there any legalities with flying around the resorts?
I flew ours at the palace and they asked me not to fly over the resort, but you could fly over the beach for sure
@@TheDufresnes I did watch the Palace video but I didn't enjoy it as much as the Guanacaste. The pools were just plainly shaped and the grounds of the Palace didn't appear to be walking friendly. Everything seems so spaced out and unshaded. The Guanacaste appears large but cozy with a lot more trees and shades areas... and the Monkeys outside your window... awesome! How were they with the drone at the Guanacaste?
I didn't bring the drone because it was a last minute decision after coming back from Nicaragua

Yes, Costa Rica is a country that is meant to be explored. A lot of the people we talked to that are all inclusive types were doing day trips

Question: since you guys have been to riu palace. I read that ppl from riu palace can use the pool at riu guanas? If thats true do you know if we can get drinks alcohol from riu guanas too?

I was wondering if they have a walk in shower in the rooms, my husband has had knee
surgery. He cannot step up into a bath tub.
It would be best to actually watch the videos before commenting. It's also strange to ask us questions about the hotel when we were just visitors there and we do not own it. You would be able to easily see online on their website photos of the rooms and bathrooms, thankfully in your case we did a room tour video in the video we took the time to make as well so maybe watch the video? Just a thought!

We know what we film and don't film, it clearly shows the shower and tub in the b-roll after I explain the room. There are also different types of rooms so as we said it's best to ask the hotel, not content creators that don't own the hotel and you thinking it is rude is your preception, not our fault.

This has always been on my list of places to go in Costa Rica. When we went to Panama and stayed at the Riu we
met some people from Canada that had come here a couple of times and they loved it. That was almost 7 years ago
that we were in Panama. Is it worth it to come here? Next door is much more money.

😡😡😡 I stayed there in Christmas and new year. The place is very very outdated. Food is horrible. I wouldn’t recommend anybody going there.
That's your own personal opinion. Many others go there and really enjoy it!
