This is one of the songs that you can’t put on the radio in some places. “Royals” they don’t play near San Francisco because Prince Harry lives in that area
Good song and her album was great for chill out. I highly recommend a superb rock band, all great lady musicians, and a recent song 'Influencer' by Band-Maid. The MV location is beautiful and this band rule the hard rock world!!

While Lorde isn't my favorite artist, I do like this song and appreciate that she is very talented, and just a down to earth and genuinely happy person. The comedy show South Park did a parody of Lorde and her music, which she saw and laughed at without taking any offense.

The original inspiration behind this song was when Lorde saw a photo of baseball legend George Brett, in his Kansas City Royals jersey autographing baseballs.
Weird Al also did a parody of this song. It's called FOIL.

@@KerryTriesIt : Yes! When I hear this I think of extremely brilliant, genius*, parody song songwriter/singer "Weird Al" Yankovic's parody of this song - "Foil." It's hilarious.
*NOT being hyperbolic here. "Weird Al" DOES have a genius level I.Q. He graduated High School EARLY, then earned a degree in Architecture. Fortunately he decided to go into music-making instead.
