Happy pig year, everybody! I'm a bit late posting this monthly faves video but here it is! Sorry the lighting is so crazy in this video, unpredictable weather + filming using natural light = a million lighting changes that can't really be fixed lol 😂
It's been a while that you haven't done any vlogs lately, I would like to see more Sushi places and Japanese street food places, and take a taste test for us.
Sakura Drops I am Japanese (so much older than you), living in Japan, and you always introduce me to Japanese products I'd never known about, lol, so thank you. Speaking of candy obsession though..I completely got obsessed with 男梅ソフトキャンディ(soft candy but not so soft) By far the best "otoko ume goodies" among the many IMO, got SO obsessed, I ate like 5 packs a week for a few months straight , OMG.... I'm so scared to try this 塩ミルクone that you recommend.😆😂😆
You look exceptionally gorgeous in this video-- your eyes are so bright and big and your skin is lovely. I miss seeing your uploads, your channels is such a joy. Hope you're well.
I love these monthly videos. Heading to Japan in a few weeks to catch the sakura and hopefully your 'February favourites' video will help my shopping. ;)
Thank you for the hair color recommendation! I also find Japanese hair color to be of the best quality compared to typical western brands and since my hair is naturally very very dark as well they work wonderfully for me! Looking forward to your next video 🖤
That pancake mix is awesome! When I was younger and living in Japan that was the only kind I knew. Once my family moved to the US I couldn't understand why the pancake mix at home didn't taste the same. I asked my mom to buy a bunch of different mixes till I finally realized this year that it's because the mix I had in Japan was a Japanese mix. I had no idea why that never clicked in my head. Anyways that is a great mix.
I got the Ryo Scalp Deep Cleansing Shampoo (and matching conditioner) from ebay and I'm very happy with them. I live in a very dry climate and my scalp produces more oil, while the ends are dry. This shampoo has worked great. The fragrance is great, not too strong, and the bottles are so pretty. Thanks!
Sandwich makers are a regular house hold item here in some European countries. They are either called "Croque Monsieur" makers or "Panini" makers. The difference is the type of bread you use and the type of grilling it does. I remember having one around since I was a child.
I wish they would bring some of those Japanese stores to the US for those of us that probably would never be able to go to that country; financially speaking. I'm sure they would be successful and we would be getting things from that culture, not to mention, help us feel like we've visited Japan. ❤️🙂
Happy New Year Wishing you happiness and prosperity always love your videos so useful informations love all Japanese products that you recommend thanks for sharing your watermelon very cute
Haha isn't that green tea cereal so addicting? That candy is freaking dangerous. I ate an entire bag in a day twice last month and I couldn't stop lol!
Oh wow! Those are so interesting. I need the canker sore patches (please America🙏🏼, I’ve been prone to these my whole life), sandwhich press, Skyworld, & fluffy pancakes. & salt milk candy totally am wondering about the taste. & incense so cute. Have a great February 💕💕💕Thanks!
I've been hearing a lot about Sky Castle and I have to say, I'm intrigued. I've just binged watched Netflix's Kingdom even though like you, I'm also not a fan of K-drama. I highly recommend you to watch it. Amazing story telling and cinematography as well.
I might check out Kingdom then! I rarely watch Kdrama but some of them are really quite good. Sky Castle is amazing (with the exception of the last episode which was quite meh lol) so you should definitely check it out!
I’m watching all your videos and buying everything you recommend. If you can also put in description where we can find the things you recommend would be very helpful. Newbies to Japan 🇯🇵 not sure where to start!
Hi!!! new subbie here super love your video's and super helpful reviews about the product just wanted to ask for the link of the video where you still have the california yellow hair color on you planning to buy one for myself thank you so much and more power to your channel 😘😘😘💕
I'll have to see if the canker sore patches and the pancake mix are available at the local Daiso or the Asian food markets. I don't get as many sores as I did as a child but they still happen once in a while and hurt, so those patches would be great to have around. The hot cake mix I think I've seen before, always wanted to try the fluffier kind. Thanks for the tips!
i hope you will do more don quijote top items to buy by category , skincare, make up, souvenirs, hair care, snacks, misc items as don quijote is very big and sell wide variety of items
Great selection! I would totally think those insence stick are candy lol, this is a great way to fool my brother. Thanks! As for the pancake mix, I'm stocked up with those too. I use it for a lot, but ever since i posted a video on IG everyone is asking me to make them some. lol next time I'll just throw them a bag =)
Definitely need to find out if that incense (or just anything in peach scent) is carried by my local Japanese market. I normally don't like incense because they tend to come in musky scents that I'm not crazy about.
YAY a new video❤ Have you considered joining Tokyo Creative as an influencer? You'd make a good fit, and you know a lot about so many Japanese products!😍
Hi YuYu! Just found your channel and I really like your videos! I have a question, your description says that you are from Canada but you have a Chinese accent when you speak English, how so?
hi @tokiyuyu thanks for your videos, my family is visiting japan late march and ive been watching a lot of videos for research, i hope you will do a tour of don quixote and show us each floor and their prices 😊
I've done 2 videos on Donki. A bit tricky to film a complete tour since it's such a massive store lol but you can get an impression of it for those videos :)
Yuko Iwase thank you so i will not bring sweaters just a raincoat 😊 leggings tshirts should be ok? since i will also be bringing my 2 yr old im also wondering what clothes to bring for him , i am from Canada and here theres snow till april 😅
Thanks for showing the hair dye! I’ve seen it around but wasn’t sure if it’s that good. I have half blonde hair half black, does that mean half of it would come out lighter?
Christine Bee my hair is similar, it just means it makes it harder to make the color even. Some people like the look because it makes it look more natural just be careful to not keep it on too long go for a middle time in order to not damage your lighter hair.
Yes there will be difference but it shouldn't be TOO obvious. I have a bunch of different shades on my hair, some bleached, some dyed black, some in my natural color, but once you dye it, it just kinda blends in. Also, since the part near my roots is darker, I dye that part first before adding the color to my bleached parts, so the dye stays on the darker parts slightly longer. Not sure if that helps but that's what I've been doing, and I think it looks okay
I don't have netflix anymore so I can't be sure but I watched on dramafever and you can easily find it. I'm pretty sure the hair dye would cover grey hair, it's just that your result will probably be lighter comparing to if you dye it on black hair
Hi im novar 16 years old ... Hello pretty, I like your accent speaking English, easy to listen and I really enjoy the stuff that you reviewed on video but I after watching for 15mins I feel alittle bit "down" because your voice is quite low and a bit heavy. I know difficult to change the voice but I would like to watch more video of you.

Why not give everyone a sense of closure and peace?

Hi. Where did you buy the shampoo? :)
Hello
Im from Brazil and going to Japan for visiting in the next months.
Where can I find the Koh Gen Do foundation in a better price, please?
Where did you buy the candy scented incense? (:
Too Bad you stopped making videos...
some of us were Big Fans of you!
nice ear rings :)
Hi Yu, where have you been? I miss your videos
How long will the incense smell last? Looks like it is a good idea for travelling and small space
The incense itself burns for about 20min or so, and the smell probably last about an hour?
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Hi !
Andrea dotti ; from Japan.
The UHA candies are so good, I’ve tried the regular milk candies, salt and strawberry milk. Salt wasn’t anything special to me I prefer regular
The regular ones I have eaten since i was a kid! Love them!
TokiYuYu favs!!!

Where can you get the incense sticks from?
I bought them on Amazon JP but you can find a big variety of them at Tokyu Hands
So you don't have to bleach your hair for that hair dye to work?
Nope, but the color would be more vibrant and lighter if you bleach
Try the player kdrama it's not romantic but so nice and funny
Can you recommend anything sugar free items? :)
There aren't that many sugar free items in Japan tbh, but if I find good ones, I'll share!
Is the Ryo shampoo available in Donkihote?
Hm don't think so since it's a Korean product. You should be able to find at Shin-Okubo (ktown of Tokyo)
Anyone knows where in Tokyo can you get “Fiesta Pure Shine” brand body wash?
What are canker sores?
이뻐요^^
