    Here are some more recommendations for Muji but this time I'm recommending some beauty related products! You guys probably have been wondering what happened to my shopping guide series, so it is! I'll also be uploading another shopping-related video (hint: winter musthaves) in a couple of weeks! So stay tuned~
    Also, there was construction going on so excuse any loud banging in the background (also why I turned up the background music a bit..) (*゚ー゚)ゞ

      I hope you can create an in depth review on their entire skincare line. We’re fortunate that we got a Muji branch in our country. I was really hoping you could give us your take or review on their skincare products. I am contemplating whether I should try them out after I have consumed all the K-beauty products I was hooked to.

    I'm so glad I found your videos. I immediately subscribed when you mentioned how awkward your eyelash curler curler is in your makeup bag. I have been traveling for 2 years now and my eyelash curler does the same. I thought I was the only one who also finds my curler annoying lol. Thank you for making this content.

    If you've never mentioned it before, I think your viewers maybe should know that MUJI is the name of the store used overseas, outside of Japan.
    The name of the store is " Mujirushiryouhin", or for short "Mujirushi" is what we often call it in Japan. (無印良品 - which literally means "no brand good quality products" )
    Another thing I'd like to inform you all is about their skincare oil products. They maybe natural with no bad ingredients and all, but they are NOT cold pressed. Hot pressed process gets rid of the color, the smell and reduces nutrutional contents of the oil.

    • @TokiYuYu
      @TokiYuYu  6 років тому +1

      I have mentioned the full name on my first MUJI video and since everybody knows it as MUJI in other countries, I just didn't bring it up again. Good info about the oil products :)

    The sun reflects off the snow so the sun’s rays would be more intense then you’d think. So it doesn’t make sense to have a weaker sun block when you still need that protection in the winter. Where you live would make a difference but if it snows where you are, put on that sun block

      leeann h I live in Germany and there are a couple of Muji stores but just in the biggest cities. I purchased a lot of things from Muji in Berlin and Frankfurt but I can’t go so often to those cities. I found out that you can order a lot of Muji items by EBay from Japanese retailers. I already ordered some items and they are the original items, so I can recommend to you to checkout the items you want from Muji by EBay. I continually purchase Korean Beauty items from EBay. I love Korean Skincare 🤩

    One note on the eyelash curler - if you have smaller, western eyes, this might not work for you. I find that with the travel eyelash curler, I can only ever curl one part of my eyelashes at a time, and the other parts are often then pulled straight, making my eye makeup look wonky later.

    • @helenpaul-smith754

    Have you used their cosmetics (travel)containers? Do they leak because they don't seem very sturdy? Last time I was in HK I was hesitant to buy they since they cost much more outside Japan.

    • @TokiYuYu
      @TokiYuYu  6 років тому

      I've only used their small pots, not bottles when traveling. But I've bought bottles to use at home and they seem to last fine and doesn't leak. I have traveled many times with their travel size cosmetic products which seem to use the same kind of bottles and they've always lasted well, so it should be fine.

      Thanks a lot for the helpful info! I'm in hk again so I'll pick up a container. It'll come very handy since I use now an empty bottle that I've refilled partly from another bottle but it's too big even though I'll be using more than a month.

      Moomin yes, in German and others nordic languages but this is just the pronunciation the writing is totally different and the pronunciation is not the same it’s just similar. I live in Germany and speak fluently German and the connection between this two words isn’t so big because they will be written totally different and the pronunciation is not exactly the same just similar. It’s a kind funny though 🙂
