There are situations where a HOA is justified and necessary -- for example, I live in an urban condominium building where the individual units are privately owned, but they are also part of a shared multi-story building. You really do need a HOA in this kind of residence to manage the common areas of the building and to administer the building.

They have the same responsibilities as the government. Equal treatment, consistent enforcement, no fuzzy rules, freedom of speech, etc. Most don’t obey the laws of the state or federal government even though they’re required to. I’ve lived in two and got both dissolved because they didn’t obey state or federal law in the way they did business. My lawyer has been fighting HOAs as a property rights lawyer for 30 years and has never seen an HOA that obeyed the law. He practices in three states, Washington, Oregon and California. He says cases in Washington are easier to win because the state constitution has several clauses that no other state has.
@@richardbeckenbaugh1805 except for where state constitutions protect the freedom of speech, since HOAs aren't really government they aren't really bound by the first amendment and till more recently the courts have largely upheld their restrictions on freedom of speech. The rest of them should be common sense but the authority/ power goes to some people's head

No you're not and sometimes I sleep through these videos and I will hear that and scare me awake, I've gotten to a point where I just don't listen to these videos as much anymore because of that. When I started watching these videos I didn't hear that at all, and now it's like every video. Honestly it's kind of annoying. Why didn't you have Karen arrested right then you had already told her she was trespassed from your property so the fact that she brought the cops with her doesn't give her carte blanche to go ahead and come on your property you should have told them right then arrest her because she's trespassing after being warned and if they wouldn't have arrested her then in Most states you can citizen arrest her and they would at least have to give her a citation to show up to court and let the da decide😮

I boarded my flight early do you my issue~surgically reconstructive right knee. My seat was the first row behind first class. Then other passengers began boarding. A lady filled up a significant amount of a first class luggage bin. She then walked to seat which was far back in coach. A flight attendant saw this & told the lady to place her luggage items near her seat. Back & forth continued for several minutes. Finally, the woman grumbling moved her items. She ended having to place bags at the very rear of the plane.
Later I talked to the Flight Attendant. Without going into detail the Attendant said that was not an uncommon event.
Christmas Karen got what she wanted, though I would’ve told Christmas Karen to duck off and don’t come back, though parking in the driveway can be considered as trespassing and she can be fined for that as it be considered illegal parked if the minivan was parked fully in the driveway and blocking the footpath
