Man most indie bands either go for that 70's stoner rock sound or some shoegaze mess. There was one I loved but can't think of the band name but no one I know about is cranking out bass lines like this.
Why Jamiroquai are so underrated? All of Their album were great and went platin. They had Guinness World record for most Sold funk album for Travelling without moving. And also got a grammy award. But still they wouldnt take Serious. And even jay said that drop an album when He is inspired for. I think we will never get another album from them :(
We can never have another Jamiroquai album since Toby passed (not to mention Stuart and JK not ever really getting along). We will have to just appreciate that they made the magic they did in the period they were all together. What they offered in that brief block of time is fantastic.
You gotta appreciate a music video like this. The style, the personal vision, and the dance moves... This man really feels the music he made, that comes through so clearly.

R.I.P keyboards man. A true tragedy how no one on the main comments seem to be commenting about it. Specially since he appears at 0:48 and well, we're all basically listening to his peaceful chords on the Rhodes.
I love his moves but dunno if basically calling them a cross between James Brown's and MJ's is that accurate. Get where you're coming from but it's kinda hard to compare anyone's style to a combination of two other people's. A cross like that would make the moves too black for him, he is very fluid for a white dancer but still too kinda jerky (in a good way though, a controlled way we see as his personal style). He also jumps around more, so really I don't know but possibly even an element of a rock star's moves could be thrown in (AK from the RHCP might be right, he's very athletic).
Simply love musicians who can dance, that's why I love Anthony Kiedis in the Red Hot Chili Peppers and I loved Michael Jackson. What would you rather see? A man/woman just standing playing guitar or leaping and dancing around like a pro? Btw, if any of you guys wanna see a funny interview watch the video of Jay talking to Jeremy Clarkson on Top Gear. It's the one where they talk about Jay's cars (he had thirty something at the time!) and he takes part in that driving challenge, where you try to drive round a circuit as fast as you can. You're competing against a bunch of other celebrities to see who can get the fastest lap time. Watch with baited breath to see if he comes in first place or not lol. My favourite female performers are Gwen Stefani and Linda Perry from Four Non Blondes. Gwen really knows how to own a stage, and she's a real athlete about it. Never seen Linda on stage but she's got great style in their videos. Have to say, while I really can't stand Jeremy Clarkson he is good in the video I mentioned.
I've always loved Jamiroqaui's music, but I never knew the band's name; it's really taken me 20 years to finally find their stuff again! I say its commendable how _Timeless_ these guys' production quality are to be able to seem both modern and maybe futuristic even today! Jamiroquai might just be the coolest fellas around.
I was in Okinawa, Japan when I first heard of them in 95. this or alright was the first video I saw of Jamiroquai and I immediately wanted to know more about them.
Me too, I was born in 2001 ahah. But they still do lives! Been hooked on their music since 2016. Their last gig is from Jan.2020 and then Covid came...

Jamiroquai music mean alot to me as it was mine and my best friends favorite band when we was younger. sadly Mark lost his life but its only now i can play this song without braking down. Mark Hughes rip your always on my mind.
Some songs similar to this: Almost the entire soundtrack of Persona 3, 4, 5 ( the composer for the persona games is a fan of jamiroquai) fly away from eureka seven.
you wanna spice up a smoke session in the hood? This song never never fails. They will act like its bull shit at first, the next thing you know your arms are interlocked skipping in circles chanting Jamiroquai
@@sassysuiryu1114 Jamiroquai didn't contradict themselves??? LOL You mean writing ecologist songs while speeding on supercars that pollute 30 times more than a normal car or supporting the use of cannabis while being on coke? Singing "Too Young to Die" while wearing adidas gear made by third world childrens? Maan, Jamiroquai as soon as they made some money turned from politicized and socially aware lyrics to "baby baby, kiss me here, kiss me there". They (Jay Kay for the most part) they are contradiction embodied.

Fanof Taizokato Yea, that's what I like most about it!
I agree, but i think in 90s lot music have good beat & voice (^_^)
Kayla Bey I wish it was more popular.
U dont know squat! 80s and 90s mother earth was so much more saturated with an abstract variety of musical talent. Today you get controlled and marketed excreted garbage
yes
1994 was a seriously good year. How I wish I could relive the 90s again!
I lived those days... come back again 90's
never change, please... pleasure in my ears
RIP Toby Smith.
See you, space cowboy...
Shadowfireninja Hd Yep, he died last year unfortunately at the 11th of April.
Jay Kay the singer from Jamiroquai is still alive.
but Toby Smith is dead
themis prome Toby Smith was Jamiroquai's co-writer, he was a part of Jamiroquai, he will be missed, I hope he is in a better place
Jk, toby smith, stuart zender were the basis of the group
Back in the day, thought the world would stay like this forever ❤
Everything is good and brown
I'm here again
With a sunshine smile upon my face
My friends are close at hand
And all my inhibitions have disappeared without a trace
I'm glad, oh, that I found
Ooh, somebody who I can rely on
This is the return of the space cowboy
Interplanetary, good vibe zone
Say, at the speed of cheeba, you and I go deeper
Maybe I'm gonna have to get high just to get by
Now, you know I got that
I got that cheeba, cheeba kinda space cowboy vibe
Everything is good, oh, and green
Say, I'm red again
And I don't suppose I'm coming down
I can see clearly, so high in sky
A man with psychedelic picture frames
Of happiness to shade his eyes
He's glad, oh, that he found
Somebody who he can rely on
This is the return of the space cowboy
Interplanetary, good vibe zone
Say, at the speed of cheeba, help me go deeper
You and I, you and I, you and I, hey, oh
Now, this is the return of the space cowboy
He's got that, he's got that interplanetary, good
Good vibe zone
Oh, good times, hard times, good vibes, hey
Oh, I like what you're doing on that, yeah
This time
Oh now, now, this is the return of the space cowboy
Interplanetary, hmm, interplanetary, good vibe zone
At the speed of cheeba, oh, you and I, you and I go deeper
Hey, maybe I'm gonna have to get high this time
This is the return of the space cowboy
Interplanetary, good vibe zone
Say, at the speed of cheeba, oh we're going deeper
You and I, you and I, you and I
You and I, you and I, you and I
You and I, you and I, you and I, hey
We're going deeper, yeah
We're going deeper, yeah
We're going deeper, yeah
Now, this is the return of the space cowboy
Good times, hard times, good vibes, oh
Interplanetary, good vibe zone
Ha-ha-ha
Yeah, aw, hmm, I know from where it's comin' from
Now we're going, people
At the speed of cheeba
You and I go deeper
I'll stay with you on this
On this interplanetary level
This is the return of the space cowboy
Interplanetary, hey, a good vibe zone
Speed, speed, at the speed of cheeba
Oh, you and I, you and I, oh, you and I go
Hey, hey, hey, you and I go deeper, deeper
I wanna go, I wanna go deeper with you
You know, you got that, you got that space cowboy vibe
Interplanetary, good vibes, good vibes, good times
At the speed of cheeba, I got cheeba on the brain
Go now, gotta go, gotta go, gotta go

Yep definitely about weed
Wow that's what's up love the vibe that feel good music makes for a beautiful day
Much appreciated 👍
R.I.P keyboards man. A true tragedy how no one on the main comments seem to be commenting about it. Specially since he appears at 0:48 and well, we're all basically listening to his peaceful chords on the Rhodes.
I'm glad you wrote that, Man! His name was Toby Smith and without him, there would be no Jamiroquai as Jay himself said. He's severely underrated.
@@felixmorgenstern2875 Toby Smith also co wrote most of Jamiroquai's songs until he left in 2002.
Toby is dead??? Oh, what a loss ❤. R.I.P. bro...
Jay’s dancing is soo smooove, very satisfying
❤
So different. What a super talented person. And free bird 🦅. I get a happy feeling just from watching him dance 🕺🏽. Bring back music 🎶 from the 90’s!
I never get tired of hearing this perfect jass sound

LobesterAL cowboy bebop...
LobesterAL Iconic.
Ok
lol
This song brings back so much memories. One of my favorites. He made me fell in love with Adidas. Classic Jamiroquai.
In a Jamiroquai mood 🥳🎉
His moves are impeccable..teach me!
Joshua Homan alright alright alrightttt :D
I love his moves but dunno if basically calling them a cross between James Brown's and MJ's is that accurate. Get where you're coming from but it's kinda hard to compare anyone's style to a combination of two other people's. A cross like that would make the moves too black for him, he is very fluid for a white dancer but still too kinda jerky (in a good way though, a controlled way we see as his personal style). He also jumps around more, so really I don't know but possibly even an element of a rock star's moves could be thrown in (AK from the RHCP might be right, he's very athletic).
pure talent !
Kiedis dancing? Sure if you class spasmodic twitching and jumping that looks like he's having a seizure as dancing hahahaha.
Jay should be worshipped as a god in the music industry . His singing and dancing is phenomenal. He has more talent than most hacks out there.
The aesthetics and the vocals in Jamiroquai tracks. I always love it.
One of my fav songs of all time. Gives me hope and a strong ambition to fully live life and share love and kindness!🙌🛐📿🙏
hello, how are you doing it is nice meeting you here.
Me: *analyzes every frame just find a secret meaning to this song*
Jay: *is literally just singing about weed while warping reality*
Typical day for him I guess...
That bassline!!! Awesome!!
Best bassplayer ever known to man.
bobokittyFukk he is good best Idk bout that
I've always loved Jamiroqaui's music, but I never knew the band's name; it's really taken me 20 years to finally find their stuff again!
I say its commendable how _Timeless_ these guys' production quality are to be able to seem both modern and maybe futuristic even today!
Jamiroquai might just be the coolest fellas around.
3.2.1. Let's JAM (IROQUAI)
Cowboy bebop :3
see u space cowboy
wowwww
princeofpersia410 cool man
Let's dance
Yeap that's why the name Jam+ Iroquois
This is the highest quality music video I have ever seen exist in the 90s
Love Jamiroquai! This song was HUGE in Japan! Jay Kay did a lot of TV commercials in Japan.
Yes, but.....
I was in Okinawa, Japan when I first heard of them in 95. this or alright was the first video I saw of Jamiroquai and I immediately wanted to know more about them.
I bet no one knew it was about marihuana.
Welcome back Space Cowboy. Bang.
I’ve had Jamiroquia on repeat for the past WEEK. I wish I was alive in the 90s to see him live
Me too, I was born in 2001 ahah. But they still do lives! Been hooked on their music since 2016.
Their last gig is from Jan.2020 and then Covid came...
Jay Kay, Stuart, Toby and Derrick...magic...
I played this song while on vacation in about 2004. Changed my life.
Sick bass line.
This is blowing up with the new generation I'm glad
Musicão , tem uma pegada meio blues e jazz...... uma delícia!!
THIS "CATT" IS TOO SMOOOOOOTH.... AND HE WAS AHEAD OF HIS TIME BECAUSE HIS MUSIC IS TIMELESSSSS---AND -----FUNKYEEEEEEE!!! JAMIROQUAI----YOU THA BOMMMMMMB, MY BROTHER ❣️❣️❣️
Jamiroquai music mean alot to me as it was mine and my best friends favorite band when we was younger. sadly Mark lost his life but its only now i can play this song without braking down. Mark Hughes rip your always on my mind.
I miss the days when bass player Stuart Zender was in Jamiroquai, a wicked warwick bass player! Man I got that CHEEBA CHEEBA VIBE!
He was indeed the very back bone of Jamiroquai
i seriously cant stop listening to this song, help me
Me too!!! It is just so mellow ...... it's hard to be mad when this is on. This just mellows all the way out.
Legendary track...Thanks for everything Jamiroquai, JK & all the band.
Aaaaaaah os anos 90 no Brasil com essa canção... Daria tudo para voltar lá um pouquinho! ❤️
I long for modern music to take note from this genius bunch. I dance to this against my own will at times. Legends.
Some songs similar to this: Almost the entire soundtrack of Persona 3, 4, 5 ( the composer for the persona games is a fan of jamiroquai) fly away from eureka seven.
@@LaplaceStevensNameless Not surprised Meguro is a fan of Jay's work but I definitely wouldn't recommend it nor put it on the same level as Jay.
Quite a lot of people actually see them as influences. Chance the Rapper; Tyler, the Creator; and The Internet to name a few.
1:09 I literally got chills, his voice is heaven sent
my jaw dropped when he hit that first low note 😂 man's got range
you wanna spice up a smoke session in the hood? This song never never fails. They will act like its bull shit at first, the next thing you know your arms are interlocked skipping in circles chanting Jamiroquai
Introduce the hood to the whole album
History will tell you, that album influenced 2Pac 👍🏼
@@MrBillyboyroge Jamiroquai was better than tupac the whole crew had meaning and didn't contradict themselves
@@sassysuiryu1114 okay but he’s not arguing AT ALL which one is better and you dont need to either. just mentioned a simple fact.
😂😂😂😂 so true my friend 🕺🏾✊🏾🙌🏾
@@sassysuiryu1114 Jamiroquai didn't contradict themselves??? LOL You mean writing ecologist songs while speeding on supercars that pollute 30 times more than a normal car or supporting the use of cannabis while being on coke? Singing "Too Young to Die" while wearing adidas gear made by third world childrens? Maan, Jamiroquai as soon as they made some money turned from politicized and socially aware lyrics to "baby baby, kiss me here, kiss me there". They (Jay Kay for the most part) they are contradiction embodied.
see you, space cowboy....
