I cannot understand how people can dislike a band like Jamiroquai. Incredibly talented musicians with an undeniable fat groove, meaningful lyrics, and Jay's voice acid quality that is NOT too much. Appreciate what's good.

I remember back in the day in '93 when this track came out. I sat in front of the tv watching MTV. I was hooked on it from the first time these funky tunes hit my eardrums. The vibe is so strong and positive that to this day it puts into an instant chill mode no matter how streesed out I may be. From that day on I was a fan of Jamiroquai. Sweet memories.

So much of hip-hop right now is simply mumbling over boring trap beats. At least our generation had musical diversity in our favor...

      Rechercher dans le domaine en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Funk_musicen.wikipedia.org/wiki/Funk_music
Funk is a music genre that originated in African American communities in the mid-1960s when musicians created a rhythmic, danceable new form of music through a mixture of soul, jazz, and rhythm and blues (R&B). It de-emphasizes melody and chord progressions and focuses on a strong rhythmic groove of a bassline played by an electric bassist and a drum part played by a percussionist.....
According to the words of J.K. himself, the singer of jamiroquai "My mission is to bring back funk and disco....."
Now if your mission is to "bring back something from the past" you can be a decent band, you can be a great band, but cannot be "ahead of your time", this is not how creativity works motherfuckers !

as a small child growing up in Europe in the late 90s, Jamiroquai had a great impact on me. the weird hats, the interesting "space" music, Jay Kay's fast cars, the iconic dances, the super cool Godzilla soundtrack and video...all defining childhood memories. I mostly listen to hardcore punk and noisy jazz, and it's interesting that several of my friends who listen to extreme, underground music also reported the same fondness for Jamiroqua as a child. I think it was because Jay Kay has always been a bit of an outsider, in the pop world we could see him as rebellious, intelligent and stylish for a reason.

so there is a channel called SugarZaza that made this video

but first they listening to this song before Tom says there is bak bak bak in the song and Or the guy with the black shirt says there isnt
"Or says:"Hey do you listen to Jamiroquai
"Tom says: "of course im listening to him
      after they say some bullshit
then tom says:you know what is my favorite song from Jamiroquai?the one who always was on MTV the on with the BAK BAK BAK
      Or says:What?
Tom:I LOVE THIS SONG! you dont know? BAK BAK BAK BAK
Or:you mean Too Young To Die? why are you screaming like chicken?
and thats what the video is talking about
in the end of the video
Tom as the TRUTH BOMBER! says its not the only somg with bak bak bak and he put some songs (and Israel's Anthem)
and Or says:what about the song in the eurovision? (the Israeli one that won)
Tom:nope on this song there is no BAK BAK BAK
btw here is the link for the video hope it will help you to understand because the video is in hebrew: ua-cam.com/video/OO8Ik0KakEM/v-deo.html

    Lyrics:
    Everybody
    Don't want no war
    No
    No, no, no
    We're too young to die
    Too young to die
    So many people
    All around the world, yeah
    All around the world
    Seen their brothers fry
    I've seen your brother fry?
    What's the motive
    In your madness?
Oh, I wish I knew, you've made my people cry
    You've made my people cry
    So politicians
    At this time
I think you're better keep your distance
    Say
    Sing it loud
    We're too young to...
    Doo-do-do-doo-dah-dah-do-dah-dah-do-dah
    Do-do-do-doo-lah-dah-do-dah-dah-do [x2]
    What's the answer
    I wish I knew
    To our problems
I think we've gone too high
I think we've gone too high
    Little children
    Never said a word now
You know they never said a word
    Still they have to die
    Well I'm asking, why?
    It won't be long
    No, no, no
    Dancing like we do, yeah
    Oh, like we do now
To put this sad world right
    I gotta put it right
    So don't you worry?
My people, we don't have to suffer no more
    'Cause we're too young to...
    Doo-do-do-doo-dah-dah-do-dah-dah-do-dah
    Do-do-do-doo-lah-dah-do-dah-dah-do [x4]
    You know we're too young
    Yo, this a message
All gone when they drop the bomb, can the politicians reassure?
'Cause here I am presuming that nobody wants a war
There's so many people praying just to find out if they're staying
But lately stately governments and disillusioned leaders
So full of empty promises but rarely do they feed us
Put our backs against the wall
Or don't we count at all?
Can you decide? Are you mesmerised? Do you know which side you're standing?
'Cause when it falls gonna take us all gotta know what we're demanding
I'll never lie, can't you hear they cry coming from on high?
    We're too young to die
    Doo-do-do-doo-dah-dah-do-dah-dah-do-dah
    Do-do-do-doo-lah-dah-do-dah-dah-do [x3]
    Doo-do-do-doo-dah-dah-do-dah-dah-do-dah

I feel even most of us connect stronger than our own family; and that is not necessarily a bad thing. We can help one another based on another's kindness.
