It's miraculously rair to find someone sharing their secrets of life & successwhile being aware with the fact that other person learning may get transformed into their competitor but people like Dan still continue coz in today's era we have evolved as selfish creatures who only live for themselves & then we ask why people like Dan are rich & successful.
Humanity don't expect rewards coz it's a reward itself.

This reminds me of when I was 12 years old, my friends and I offered to rake the leaves and clean up outside a donut shop for $2 each. We didn’t finish before dark so we went home. I was the only one that showed up the next day to finish and the owner gave me a $20 bonus and an under the table (no W-2 form) job.

I think adding value is giving something to people that will be worth more money to them compared to what they are paying. There is no shame in asking something in return if you bring more value to people. Everybody wins, that would be the best case scenario.

I'm an anomaly and the exception to that quote. I give unconditionally and have done so my whole life but the takers are out in full force and its seems like it gets worse as time passes us by. I'm quite often looked at as the guy who will do things for free or super cheap. I can't not help it, its in my nature to give and be nice to people. But the moment I push back with dignity and self worth is the moment people avoid me. I welcome those who preach that quote to come and study me. Some have and they can't explain why I experience so much crap. It's very telling about the nature of people. I waste more time weeding through takers than anything else.

Even though I do give monthly to charity, I have to be honest with myself and admit I've been mostly a taker in my relationships with others (family, friends, etc.)... and it hasn't served me well. Thanks Dan. This lesson reminds me when i was 19 and was outside of a club which was overcrowded and becoming a fire hazard. I was a firefighter and my hobby was graphic design. So what i did the next week was to design a hippy poster for that club and gave it to the owner. He loved it and immediately pasted it outside the club wall. He offered me some money but at that point i wasnt expecting anything so i said its on the house. After that he just told me to enter his club free and drink whatever i want to drink...forever. well i can only drink non alcoholic so i appreciated the juices and free entry throughout my early 20s. So yes i think i got more without even asking

Dan, this is a fantastic video and it is an amazing and inspiring speach that you are giving! Thank you very much for sharing this principle. In some areas of my life I am already living this, in other areas it needs further integration.

Great content Dan. I think discipline and focus is key. I was able to make a lot of money just by focusing on Amazon. Now I can add another income stream and focus more on the new stream. 🙏🏼
