Dan Lok I really enjoyed this video but I really want to know how you influence people with just your presence like In your videos every time I watch them I get goose bumps I work for a equity events firm who do events and panels to the top 10 percent who learn off each other and in the future I hope to meet you at one of those events thank you as always:).
Dan Lok want to ask you something I took over an existing business Now i have to deal with all the employees who are older than me I want to know how should i behave like or treat them? Thank you in advance
Dan Lok People who don't like your video are given the RIGHT by UA-cam (on whose platform you depend) to dislike/downvote the video. Regardless of your perceived socioeconomic status as a multimillionaire or know-it-all guru or whatever, you are actually nobody to tell anybody to F### OFF. This is not China where hardly anybody has a voice. It's UA-camLand and we can all like or dislike any video at any time as we wish. Do not insult lest you be insulted.
This is my favorite topic to talk about, as your MINDSET is the biggest thing that will determine your success and failure. Dan and I have such similar beliefs and viewpoints on this, because we've both cultivated the mindset through self-development to create the success we have today.
If you were a professional singer without much success... what advice would you give you to yourself in that scenario? Go and try to do something else?... and if that's the case... What would you tell yourself to do about all those years invested in developing technique and shit?
How to make a good reason for our destiny that we choose, because I try to make different habits but my badness always comes and difficult to eliminate, when I tried not to do it, but it was hard to hold backHope your answer
He says he was making nothing?? $80-90k. That’s not starting from scratch. Making minimum wage and living on your own is starting from scratch. That’s reality people are out there making $20k a year and having to live on that .
Change your mind set and increase your income is what you need to do...if you doubt yourself you will doubt others too Change this and believe it all starts from you I just started listening to Shifu and learning so much Believe in yourself okay No luck or hope... doit for yourself
Im young guy... i don't want to be businessman I just want to learn japanese in 6 years at perfect level and live in Japan..... but your videos are giving key ideas that I think will help anyone that got some goal... it will help them just not be affraid to this successful life, to not be afraid to make vision, goal , dream they have real....even if its such a small dream like mine to just live in Japan. And you are talking to us for free. I don't know you but I'm very thankful Sir. You are the man ! Thank you for everything !
Great comparision with the mindset of smoker and nonsmoker! I was a smoker for seven years, and I tried many times to quit and I couldnt. And I remember a day when I said "this is not me" and I quit just like that.Actualy, I started hating cigarets for making me to be someone I am not. I still do. All of my friend were smokers and I had no problem hanging around them with my firm decision that thats not me. Later on I stoped seenig those friends, I changed enviroment, it was so benefitial for my personal development. If I implement the same in business area, it will be amasing. Great conversation. Thank You both so much!
He say people want to be rich but dont want it enough, but thats not the problem, its not because we dont want it enough, the problem is that we dont know how to become rich, a lot of people work hard everyday to make money but dont know how to invest it and use it on their side
Brendon Burchard raises an interesting point about reaching goals. One of the habits he found was highly important is raising necessity. Rather a strong want, you need a higher need to reach your goal (whether it’s becoming rich or anything else). He went from being broke and in debt to becoming a highly respected trainer and a multi millionaire in 18 months due to raising his need to succeed.
I lived in masterminds and seminars growing up with my mentor John hyland. I wasn't supposed to be there, I used to tag a long as well. I truly resonate with this story. What happened? I didn't apply it and let society change my mentality and became lazy in college. Man. I gotta get back to being in better environments and around HIGH INCOME EARNERS AND MULTI MILLIONAIRES AGAIN!!!!!
10 Reasons why most don't become wealthy: Lack clarity, Know what you want, Beliefs in something, Your identity, Who you spend time with is who you become, Be open to learning, Don't want to fail.
hahaha, the formula to become poor is very easy, but the formula to become rich is mysterious, many people attempt all that formula but and the end they are busted, and if all formula to become rich is true? then who will work for the rich people, since all people want to use this formula to make their life comfortable.
I am living "decently" on $30k/yr. So, I could live quite well on $100k, and damned well on $200k. I've never been afraid of hard work, but I Am afraid of hard work without equal return. Every time I try harder, work harder, etc., the return doesn't happen anywhere near equally.
Most people my age (27) and in my area (Johannesburg, South Africa) just want to buy a car, trade it in after 5 years for another one, get a home loan, make children, retire and chill. The main cause of this is pressure from others to buy a house and pay it off in 20 years just to say, "I own a house". Peer pressure and conformity. I'm not wealthy yet, but I'm on my way there, and I won't get there with my peers' mentality.
Spot on about assets vs liabilities! Money making vs Money draining. Great simple advice. Today's youth want instant gratification & end up empty after each purchase.
Thank you for this video Dan. I have experienced that people get lazy by distractions. They don't take the time and the effort to achieve something, they loose themselves in distractions. Thank you for inspiring us!
Hey Dan, I am from India, I really don't how i reached your channel, watching it all since last 3 days and I now certainly believe that people can get real education out of books, from simply amazing teachers like you. Thnx, Love & Respect from India.
I resonate a lot with the millionaire mindset. I currently make 2k a month but my entire family and old friends think I'm insane because I talk and act like a millionaire. To the point of being alienated and they dont even want to talk with me anymore. Which is good.
That point you made regarding how much money people actually need to accomplish the lifestyle they want is a really good point and I've honestly never seen it that way.
Oscar Martinez - Independent Mentality They don’t have a strong Why or need to reach their dreams. We are lazy by nature because we are human. Humans are not necessarily hard workers, we enjoy not striving. Necessity raises the game. Make a dream or a goal as a necessary part of your life, and we naturally gravitate towards those actions and behaviors that will help us achieve our dreams.
For sure! You hit it right on.. :) Frickin lazy and not willing to take the risk and the work involved to just get it done whatever it may take even when you don't feel like it.
In order 4 Dan 2 get to 1 million subscribers, he had 2 change the way he does things & its working. These new on-location videos/Boss in the Bentley just proves that he really does practice what he preaches.
Love your videos brother. One of the reason I think people doesn't become rich is because they accept the norm about who they are and settled for what they have. They have no desire to learn about investing into their future. Often times, they aren't even worried about retirement until it's too late. I came from a very poor and humble begining but I sacrificed allot to get where I am at.
I really like this conversation because it touches many “poor mentally taboos” I invested a large amount in starting a recording company that failed majorly! Owing banks, friends etc. was a devastating emotion that I held onto for a long time. I wasn’t bad at my profession but I was not well informed so I just burned money on artists that ended up getting good deals from other labels that knew the business much better. I began coaching singers from Xfactor, got talent, voice etc. and made ok money but was afraid to take my coaching business to the next level, so I jumped from contract to contract. Although I was the core value I continued working for other companies and only kept a few students privately. So I completely understand how many of us are dead scared of the responsibility that comes with starting or growing our own business. Surrounding ourselves with richer people is definitely inspiring if we just take the good advice that they possess. And yes many are not smarter than you and I. In fact I got myself into trouble by arguing with my bosses because I saw potential that they didn’t. Advice: keep your mouth shut and ears open. What they had that I didn’t, was the balls to run their business, so of course they wouldn’t listen to all my pearls since I was just hired, so as you mentioned: bring value to the table! Don’t just be a smart ass. You guys touch many great areas. I actually been looking at tons of videos and many of them are full of shit, and many also irrelevant for my business. But your talks and attitude covers things in common for all businesses, because it’s the mentality of a healthy businessman. Cheers! J.
Yep, environment is a lot more powerful than willpower. When I seclude myself, I am more productive effortlessly; but when I'm surrounded by distractions (noisy, not-doing-much people), I have to force myself to work.
When I watch u and see u I remember someone from Vancouver... shrinking his business😊 He is wrong.... and me too as well...multi tasking well make us both poor.....cultivate and mastery of leverage....
i wasn't even interested in this one at first because of the boat, but this was very motivational and educational I'm gona have to watch again to get alll those points, but it gave me a wavy of strength &motivation,Dan Lok is really cool!
I believe in my self I’ll be a successful business man in future but I’m only 16 now so I’m only starting to have a good understanding from these videos what to start working on to improve my lifestyle.
I think a big reason people dont become wealthy is because what you said. People are scared to fail. They think about the consequences. If they spend all this money and it fails they will lose everything. Im interested, you talked about failing at the end. When about in your career did you make your first big fail? was it after you had made your millions or before? From what i know people dont take risks if they afford to lose.
Environment has definitely been a hindrance for me in the past. I've had more time to myself lately, which has certainly been helpful, but I still haven't found anyone who can really support me in achieving my goals.
Great video Dan. I think one of the things people don't realize is how much do they really want and need. People will say i want 100 million. ok fine, what for? I think like you said they don't realize it might be far less if they put it down and got to brass tacks on it. Because once they get it all, the homes, cars, travel, clothes, bling etc. It might be a whole lot less and not as intimidating number wise. Its funny you mention on how bright some people are. I've met some very wealthy and successful people and it seems they just found their nitch and went for it. They didn't let failure be an obstacle but a teaching tool. But when you sit down around them many times you think WTF I'm a hell of a lot smarter then them., so what the fuck am i doing wrong that im not making 1,000 times more.. It def makes you think were are you putting your time and attention. Many times its in the wrong direction or place and the only person that can change you is you.
For a long time, I resisted the idea of "pay to play" because I was afraid to get scammed. Many years later, I'm just starting to see that paying the admission to get your brain in and around successful minds is a bargain. It's one thing to buy a book from a successful person, but it's quite another to actually be around the author. If you don't have the money to pay to get into a successful inner circle, find it.
By greatest 'want' is ultimate freedom and I'm extremely passionate about not having to go to a job anymore. You waste so much of your life at a regular job, 8-10 hours or more per day. It doesn't matter if you make a good salary because the government takes more in taxes. So it's true that you (we) really have to venture outside of that and think bigger and educate ourselves to create income and assets. I'm on my way!! And Dan, I appreciate your videos and your book FU Money, which I just finished!
may you become even more rich and God give u even more wisdom to share. you are correct about that rich people are not that smart, thanks for remind me about that. i once was realise it in the past, but forget. today, u remind me again. that's the gold nugget right there :)
Stefan, I'd be interested to know what kind of millionaire level events you paid to go to. Were these coaching programs, conferences, all of the above? Thanks.
One requires money to make money. Good talks won't make a dime. If you have cash surplus you can think of taking risks. Otherwise if life pulls you in all directions it becomes hard to even focus on one thing.
Easy, I don’t care enough about being rich, therefore I don’t put in the effort, preparation, etc. to be rich. In my mind Being Rich IS NOT EQUAL to Success in Life.
I get the mind set, I understand visualization. I don’t understand how! I’ve said since I was young that I’m going to be a millionaire, and yet I’m in my thirties. Not even close.
Ryan Walsh The scheme with Indian ghost-writers wrting you sh'tloads of kindle books which you "publish" (pollute Amazon), that scheme that Stefan advertised has been dead for quite some time. Stefan is smart in that he realized he could make WAY more money selling a course about this scheme, rather than just collect his publishing royalties from Amazon. (In other words, the let-me-tell-you-how-to-make-money market is a huge, lucrative market with plenty of small-timers ready to line up your wallet.) You have to always look at what somebody is doing, not just what he is saying. In the case of Stefan, there are many discrepancies. I don't know about the Chinese guy in this video, but you know, birds of a feather flock together.
Dan I smiled and felt so so good when you said i was millioner in mind when i didn't had anything I was never worried about gas price or whatever... I felt good and smiled because even am not concern about the gas price and so on, but right now am so zero almost next to nothing I have a car sometimes I go so broke that I can't even put gas on it😅... I always try to be optimistic but sometimes it's very hard to deal with but your videos are helping me a lot... thank you sir🖒🖒
Currently joining business network groups where the members are inspirational... Sitting with those who are happy with the status quo is not helpful to those who want more.
Can I just bring up this point..I see a lot of people bringing up this “time and effort” thing and this “you have to work hard for what you want.” I think those who are saying this are missing the point. You should always start with your mindset. Then the action will follow through. Hard work is work that’s hard imo. It’s not hard work anymore when you’re doing what you want and seeing the results. It’s not time and effort anymore because that time and effort was already spent on finding what you really want. If wealth is what you want you have to feel it before you experience it. Wealth should never start with hard work and effort because you will only be exhausting yourself and much time and effort is wasted because you most likely won’t be satisfied with the process. Feel rich first then you’ll be inspired to do something or receive wealth through some source. The law of attraction is mostly what plays the biggest role here.
Why defines What. The value of what you do is established on the foundation of why you are doing it. Your Why must be strong enough to carry you through the insanity of running a business, until you learn to stop running it, and let those you hire run it through the systems you have built.
It's always about mindset. The reason why some are more successful is because of their mindset, their consistency, their ability to bring value to people & leverage through collaboration. :)
This is really good advice, what do you want for your lifestyle, then set that goal into a workable solution. Like you said, a realistic goal to obtain.
wow, everytime when i watch your videos, I get something new to learn and apply in my life. Thank you for such great videos and lessons to motivate to achieve a goal in life.
Hi Dan! Thanks for your uploads. Since I began following you in January a lot has changed. My adverting billing in the first quarter has tripled entire 2017 billing. In 30 days may - june, we achieved automation that's beyond what we've done in 3 years in 30 days. As a public speaker, I have become highly sought after. Thanxxxyyyyy
My guess is that most of those 1300 daily new multimillionaires are created by the stock market and specifically from 3 March 2009 to present. It has been on a tear since the day it turned around on 9 March 2009. Had a passive investor - the person who will get THE WORST RETURNS, average at best - invested in 100 shares in the major indices, DIA, IWM, QQQ and SPY he or she would have done pretty well. 100 shares of DIA at that time cost $6,600, today? It's worth $24,100. Add in your approximate divis of $1,300 and you're up to $25,200. IWM cost $3,500 on 9 March 2009. Today they are worth $16,300 plus another $1,300 in divis over the period and you've got $17,600. Take the same 100 share investment in QQQ. It cost about $3,000. Today they are worth $17,000 and, again, add in $1,300 or so in divis and you have $18,300 . 100 shares of SPY would have cost about $6,700. Those same 100 shares trade for about $27,000. That doesn't include the approximate $400 per year in divis. So In SPY you're at $30,600. So an initial investment of, call it $20K is now valued at about $91K. Now, of course that's cherry picking dates, but hey, you're an idiot if you don't think that is what mutual funds do. NONE of them will show you their performance including dates before 2009. Also, those are not diversified investments. They all have a correlation of about .8, i.e. the move together for the most part. And yes, anyone who would have used conservative options strategies during that period alongside their long positions would have crushed the market returns so I'm not advocating passive investing at all. But, again, I will say that most of the millionaires are created from stock market wealth and not some crazy drive to be successful. You two are statistical outliers.
dan make a video on how to create systems in business so that every time.I don't need to work in the business (which anyone can do) but i need to give time ON business
Listening to this video in the car around 10min 38sec, we thought one of our tires went flat! We literally just got all four of our tires replaced with tires purchased from a popular classified ad site and panicked. Thank you for this video, though. Many great ideas!

I believe in my self I’ll be a successful business man in future but I’m only 16 now so I’m only starting to have a good understanding from these videos what to start working on to improve my lifestyle.
It's not what you know or who you know, but who you are!
It’s great to see 2 real blokes talking about the keys to real success
It all starts with mindset which will determine our identity. Thank you for this video Sifu Dan! 🙂
It's either you upload at the perfect timing or I am sleeping too late. I love your videos! Keep em coming. Boss in the UA-cam.
That sitting at the park bench is so idyllic @14:40
These videos with the two of you are so immensely valuable. Keep up the amazing content!
I thought I was good at closing deal...but still am poor...Am on garments supply...this awakening....fight again....
People don’t change by motivation they change by discipline 😔
Thank you Sifu Dan Lok Sir...... My all family loves you.
Mr dan i am from india watching your vedios from long time as an asian you are very inspiring that you teach in english to internationally
Another great video with these two! They have seen it all. We all need to start LISTENING and take massive action!
Environment has definitely been a hindrance for me in the past.
I've had more time to myself lately, which has certainly been helpful, but I still haven't found anyone who can really support me in achieving my goals.
MINDSET IS EVERYTHING!
and perseverance to get you out of the hard days that the mindset can't handle.
Good David.
I just found your videos. This is my third video. I'm not just watching, I'm taking notes. Thanks.
Well done.
You’re totally right. You need to start and keep focus. 🙌🏼🎉
Thanks.
I always re-watch your videos so the thought processes and lessons actually stick in my head :) Appreciate the content Sifu.
This is amazing! Great collab. Videography is onpoint too
I really admire you Dan. Thank you for teaching us.
Thanks Lise.
Stefan James and Dan Lok, great combo, best two out there!
The style of this video is next level ✔️
I get the mind set, I understand visualization. I don’t understand how! I’ve said since I was young that I’m going to be a millionaire, and yet I’m in my thirties. Not even close.
Absolute pure gold. Big "Thank you" to both of you. You keep changing our thinking and we really appreciate that so much. God bless you!
*Great video! Stefan motivated me to start a kindle publishing business in 2015*
Ivy Zhu how’s it rolling
hows it going man? I'm new to being an entrepreur and trying to ake any tips I can!
How is it going now..pls share? Did you succeed?
THANKS FOR BEING REAL. TRUTH IS ENCOURAGEMENT AND IT WILL SET YOU FREE TO HELP OTHER. I NEEDED TO HEAR THIS TODAY!
Definitely needed this video. It made me realize I'm not spending enough money to reach my goal.
A Goal is a CONSEQUENCE of the PROCESS that you follow. Master the process and the RESULTS will come.
Hi Dan. Loved the video. Who is this fellow? He makes so much sense as well. Hiring a coach is a great idea. What kind of coach?
Why defines What.
The value of what you do is established on the foundation of why you are doing it.
Your Why must be strong enough to carry you through the insanity of running a business, until you learn to stop running it, and let those you hire run it through the systems you have built.
Actually the topic is awesome, have the fact of successful life
Superb content and video quality is getting better and better!
It's always about mindset. The reason why some are more successful is because of their mindset, their consistency, their ability to bring value to people & leverage through collaboration. :)
This is really good advice, what do you want for your lifestyle, then set that goal into a workable solution. Like you said, a realistic goal to obtain.
wow, everytime when i watch your videos,
I get something new to learn and apply in my life.
Thank you for such great videos and lessons to motivate to achieve a goal in life.
Thank you so much for sharing this video. One of the best I have seen.
This video is very inspiring to Canadians! I love you both❤️Thanks for your work!
So Dan, what video would you recommend that would show what it would look like if a person ‘wanted it (to be wealthy) bad enough?’
Dan! big flower from Nepal🇳🇵.
Dan is my king and inspiration 🔥❤
Sanjay Nepal wtf is wrong with that flag
dan make a video on how to create systems in business so that every time.I don't need to work in the business (which anyone can do) but i need to give time ON business
I have many. I challenge you to find them.
Failure is a learning process.if you don't fail you don't learn
Dear Mr. Dan Lok,
I really appreciate and enjoy your videos. I have learned a lot. Thank You so much Sir.
thanks, Dan appreciate your kindness to help.
Listening to this video in the car around 10min 38sec, we thought one of our tires went flat! We literally just got all four of our tires replaced with tires purchased from a popular classified ad site and panicked.
Thank you for this video, though. Many great ideas!
Thanks for teaching us the lesson what thousands of books can't
That was some dope stuff. Dan Lok your content is surprisingly amazingly good!
And love the outro. Im a go watch part 2 now!
The more you learn the more you earn
