Just ordered my second go anywhere! First use will be in back yard.. lol (it’s the times we’re in) but I already built a lil rock bench so me and my doggy can enjoy our first steak on it! Oh I will be in my little bit of a woods! All I’ll have next to do is build a lil pond to sit next to with a little waterfall 👍 I will make it happen! I only wish I had a big enough piece of land with a pond but hey it is what it is!! Have a good day
That’s amazing! Sounds like you have a wonderful plan indeed! I think it will be the perfect little oasis to make some delicious meals on your go anywhere! I commend you on your creativity and drive to make the best of what you have! Keep me updated 😊
Great video. I have a charcoal GA since 2015, never saw a model with handles on the side un Germany! In the video, the lid is always put on the side, but the lid ( at least for the German model...) has 2 hookes inside the lid, so that you can attach the lid to the back (e.g. as windshield or just to have it near the grill) Greetings from Berlin
Just a note. The leg clip is to be on one side and then easily clipped on to the other leg right in front of you. No need to attach it under the bottom.
Haha yup I had a little too much fun and good food while traveling! LOL I’ll probably do a few bench presses with some pork butts later and as we’ll as a few brisket squats haha!
These little Weber Portable grills are fantastic, I presently have a Jumbo Joe kettle but am thinking one of these could be useful too. Hmm just thinking how I can incorporate the WGA into bicycle touring...nice grilled steak at a mini camp...oh yeah!!
They are fantastic! Really enjoying mine! lol there has to be a way to incorporate it into bicycle touring haha! If you do, you will have to let me know how it goes!
Great review mate just wondering can you cook a chook or a leg of pork Thumbs up from Geelong Australia 👍🇦🇺👍 I have a big kettle and ID like to get a little one I find it more convenient Just wondering on your opinion
Great video..got mine today...like this a lot better than using the paper directions..p.s...you can cut the Weber cubes in half and get twice the distance on that package.
That’s awesome! I have a few mods in mind for my go anywhere. Cast iron grates is one of them and I want to install a thermometer. Also I think I’ll make some wood handles for mine as they might work better at dissipating the heat. Enjoy your new grill!
@@BaumGrillinzBBQ haha well I have a modded Smokey Joe, Jumbo Joe, Performer, and a Weber Q1200. And while I do use them, I think I'm good with 3 portables for now.
Haha ya you never really notice how often you say something! I thought about reverse searing it but the steak cooked so fast I didn’t want to over cook it!
Another great video. I do have a question for you. Have you ever salt & peppered after the grillin instead before? I am going to test this soon with one steak cut in two. Keep em coming...! .
@@BaumGrillinzBBQ im late to the party but have been watching and learning a lot from your videos. So thank you for that! Fellow Washingtonian here from Everson. Where abouts are you?
The pepper lose his flavor if you put it on the meat before cooking. Any dish you make you pepper it AFTER you cook it, it's a Pierre Gagnaire's advice (French Chef with 3 Michelin's Stars, in Paris) ;)
I saw a video of an older model that Weber actually supply a metal tray as a heatshield instead of using foil paper to line the bottom. @6:07 Weber is getting CHEAP!!
Just picked up this grill because I'm all about charcoal again, I have a Genesis 2 propane, a go anywhere propane and a master touch 22 in. I was so disappointed to find out this grill is made in China! I wish all Weber customers would contact them like I did and tell them to stop manufacturing in China.
When you put the washers it is important to put the sharp side of the washer away from the air damper so it slides better. ;)
Hey great tip! I didn’t even think about that! I’ll need to check and see what I did lol great comment thank you!
@@BaumGrillinzBBQ You're welcome.
There is a nice Facebook group called Weber GA Life for great tips and tricks. :)
Awesome! I’ll check it out! Thank you!
Great tip because I'm a woman who had o put this together and I would not have known that. Thanks,
That’s..a strange way to phrase that. I believe in you, even if you..are a woman?
The best video I have ever seen about the Weber Go Anywhere. YOU NAILED IT!!!!!!
Almost 3 years to the day of the Weber Smokey Joe! Your videos really helped me to decide what I want to buy, thank you!
Your welcome! Glad to help! 😊

You’re having fun out there, with food, fire, cameras, and the occasional green screen.
Keep smiling! Be well and take good care.
Yes I am! Lots of fun and good food! Never a dull moment :)
Thank you so much for this video - I couldn't work out how to attach the handles and do not read instructions 🤣🤣 great vid
Man now I want some steak. That looked great!!
Thanks Jabin! It was a perfect steak for a perfect setting! I really enjoyed this one! Haha! Thank you for watching!
Oh man Ya I want one!!! Awesome video buddy 👍👌✌
Thank you! It’s seems to be a great portable grill so far!
Thank you for such great and full review!
This is the best video ever
Just bought my go anywhere Weber and it helped me a lot to assemble and cook
Thanks
I don’t have chimney though
So glad I could help!! I really enjoy the go anywhere! You should look into getting a chimney they are very helpful!
@@BaumGrillinzBBQ thanks man , yes I will buy that as well , keep up the good work

Lmao. The travel scenes towards the end was fun.
What did you do to the grill to "beef" it up? You mentioned it at the end of this video.
Looks great , good vid just bought one !
Great fun and most informative. Thanks. (I had remarked "clever clogs" but thought this may cause a cultural misunderstanding.)
Love your videos, would be cool to see you use this grill again with your changes on it!
Great video..got mine today...like this a lot better than using the paper directions..p.s...you can cut the Weber cubes in half and get twice the distance on that package.
Thank you! That’s a great idea on cutting the cubes! I will start doing that. Appreciate you watching!
Love your video. Looking forward to buying the Weber go Anywhere and trying it out. What type of temperature gauge were you using?
Good very nicely demonstrate..
👍👍👍👍
Thank you!
Smokey Joe or go anywhere? Which do you like for travel? Which uses more space?
I like the Smokey Joe. It is a bit more compact and easier to manage while cooking. 👍
Dang, you really put a lot of effort in your videos. Makin me hungry haha! keep up the great vids!😎👌🏼
Haha thank you! I enjoy making videos and food! It’s a lot of fun for me! You will have to grill up a steak now haha 😊
@@BaumGrillinzBBQ Hahaha I actually did! A nice and big 1 pound sirloin sugar steak😎👌🏼😁
You actually sold me on the grill tho, picked it up today in my local hardware store👌🏼 Any recommendations for modifications/accessoires?😎

Great video and if i counted correctly you said go-ahead 18 times 👍
Haha! You never know how much you say something until you edit a video of yourself haha! Such a habit!
how many coals do you usually use
The last thing I need is another grill as I have 4 Webers already, but this is a really nice portable one from what I've heard.
You can never have too many lol! I think it will definitely have its place during a picnic or camping for sure!
@@BaumGrillinzBBQ haha well I have a modded Smokey Joe, Jumbo Joe, Performer, and a Weber Q1200. And while I do use them, I think I'm good with 3 portables for now.
Haha. I noticed the “go ahead” too.
And no sear in the rear?
Haha ya you never really notice how often you say something! I thought about reverse searing it but the steak cooked so fast I didn’t want to over cook it!
Dude that's looks like a good steak🤤😃you should do a steak comparison between the smokey Joe and the go anywhere
Great idea! Portable grill steak battles lol
Another great video. I do have a question for you. Have you ever salt & peppered after the grillin instead before? I am going to test this soon with one steak cut in two.

No I have not! That sounds interesting though. So cook the steak then season afterwards? I’ll have to test it as well!
We got a certified world traveler !
You can go anywhere these day! Especially if you have a green screen haha!
Looks wise i think i like the design of that better than my smokey joe 14". Almost has a PK grill feel to it.
Ya your right, I like it! It seems like there is more you can do with it! Thanks for watching.
@@BaumGrillinzBBQ im late to the party but have been watching and learning a lot from your videos. So thank you for that! Fellow Washingtonian here from Everson. Where abouts are you?

@@BaumGrillinzBBQ do you like the go anywhere better than the smokey joe? How does it cook in comparison to it?
I like that I have a little more room with the go anywhere but it’s not as compact. So they both have goods and bars I guess.
this was so helpful. thanks!!!
Glad to help!! 😊
Great vid
Your a natural, love all you video's. That would be a great item to have for two.🍔🍕🌭🍗🥩
Thanks! Yes it would definitely be great for two! I can imagine a lot of great meals shared on this grill! 😊
was that a mora knife?
No that’s my Helle Knife amzn.to/2Twsnc6 very nice blade but expensive. I do own a mora though at it’s a good knife too.
Finally managed to grab one in the U.K for £72 👌🏽😮
Wow!! Glad you were able to pick one up at least! What’s going to be the first thing you cook?!
@@BaumGrillinzBBQ Denver steaks, uk version don't come with the side handles 🤦🏽♂️😡
Why didn't you cook with the lid down
Great info thanks, the grill came with no instructions, very sloppy for Weber.

I saw a video of an older model that Weber actually supply a metal tray as a heatshield instead of using foil paper to line the bottom. @6:07
Weber is getting CHEAP!!
Maybe that was a propane model? Are you sure it was charcoal? If it was, man I got ripped off! They are getting cheap!
@@BaumGrillinzBBQ I am positive it is a charcoal version.
What kind of steak is that?
I believe it was a bone in Ny strip steak! It was very tasty!
Good! :)

Hahahaha , it is so funny video 😅😅
You are funny lol
😊
I want Weber company to set up a fabric in Turkey. We easily can not reach these quality grills here
Yes you definitely need them in Turkey! Such great quality grills! Maybe someday it will happen!
You should have reversed seared that. 3 minutes each side and then 1 minute each side or less over the coals.

You’d likely complain about it being overpriced if it were made in the States, though.
@@BrewReview no, that's not true I'd much rather for spend $40 extra to be made in the states!
