Even as a teenager I knew playing with another person's feelings and emotions was horrible, and I grew up in a fundamentalist christian cult. But this girl knew she was never going to go against her mother, so she led this girl on and then dumped her like the breakfast garbage and walked off without any emotions. This is what bothers me about many of the religious/ethnic based families be they christian, muslim, asian, whatever. Don't start something you can't finish, because you aren't the only person you will end up hurting, and that's not right. My older brother was gay (until his murder at 34, RIP Bro), but he did not begin to date until he had moved out of our fundie parent's house into his own place so he could do what he wanted. He probably didn't like to wait, but he himself was not the only consideration, that's what this girl should have done. Or at least have show some remorse for what she put that girl through! WTF
Your brother truly sounds like an amazing person and I look up to his selflessness. It is horrible what happened to him, I hope he is resting peacefully and I know he would be happy that you are sharing his story for the better.

From what I understand Asexuality is when you don't feel any sexual attraction to other people but you still can feel romantic attraction but also you can identify to whatever makes you comfortable and where ever on the spectrum you think you fall under. You should definitely do your own research and self reflecting to help you figure it out. Either way I'm proud of you and hope you find your answer!
