When I bought my 2018 (6th) Gold Wing, you had several prognostications I found both insightful and uncomfortable. I'm still of the school that appreciates the greatest selling book on philosophy is Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. I found your root cause analysis bang-on recalling ‘it took 30 years to get rid of the horse'. Since 2018, we've now witnessed the surprise end of GWRRA and the Wing World Magazine alongside lost management focus through the pandemic. Another great video and good to hear from you, Jeff.
Thanks Blake, This pandemic has only rushed along the changes we talked about. The upcoming bike show next February will be witness to this. I’ve herd some manufacturers will not be going as the 2+ years of selling “ on line “ have shown them they don’t need the shows to sell. We will see when the first rentals start. Great to hear from you as well !
i sold my 2018 royalEnfield for a 2014 flooded cbr 250 r.Totally happy with the bike feeling blessed to have it .but issues i am facing are *Parts are Not readily available *parts are costly compared to other same category motorcycles. i don't get what honda did in India launching cbr 250 r in 2012 no updates till 2018 and the update was l.e.d light . you Focus on selling scooters in India but the newer generation are looking for sports and retro motorcycles and honda is providing 0 options as entry level sports motorcycles in india. i hope honda offers a variety of honda entry level motorcycles in india.just like cbr 250 r. its the real G.O.A.T.
1st lower bike prices 2nd Offer motorcycle safty courses for free or a greatly reduced cost(to help lower bike insurance cost) 3rd hire some older talent to help coach the younger generation Bike rental gives you no bike or brand loyalty in the end.
Bike courses need to be longer then two days in a parking lot. Then restrict cc’s new riders can buy. However it is against the retail law to be told what you can buy. So this cycle will never end with sales. With rental , I feel it may give you the idea of trying the bike ,, and choosing your brand based on feel and service.
@@RideThis my idea is to help new riders lower the insurance cost. But i do agree with you that school time should be longer yet also affordable. Some states still allow you to take the road test on scooters in the past that was good enough to get you any size cc bike but it now limits you to i think 300 or 500cc bikes, to get anything bigger you need to take the road test on larger cc bike.
Why are you talking in this pretentious way? I dont know you and this is a first video I am seeing but I feel like you are delivering a worlds most valuable knowledge by talking in this way. I am not trying to insult in any way its just my personal observation that It was hard for me to actually listen to what you have to say because I was so focused on the way of your delivering which took me off the point of the video.. Cheers!
the quality of the video is so extremely high editing and film wise this feels like an actual documentary
Thank you 🙏
