As a non-local, I would say that Fat Tuesday is worth it. You get to keep the container, and you can reuse it at any Fat Tuesday location. I have one that I bring to Vegas every time, and I've saved a lot of money since refills are cheap. I have the mug shaped one though - much easier to carry around. I also have a vintage yard arm from my first trip to Vegas in 2008 that I'm thinking about sporting on my upcoming trip 😂
They're so worth it. I recommend mixing the hurricane with octane 90. During the pandemic, fat tuesday sold the syrup mix online. Unfortunately, they stopped. If I would have known, I'd have 30 boxes of that syrup in my refrigerator right now 😢
Awesome video Norma!!! My suggestion for a tourist attraction would be the Pinball Hall Of Fame!!! It is free to get in!!! Just bring your quarters and money if you want to buy a souvenir. It is definitely worth it!!!
Living in England, UK and never having been to Vegas I find your channel full of useful information and facts and it's so up to date which I love, you give such a fantastic insight as to what to expect when I do actually get there. Thanks for sharing everything and look forward to watching everything that you share.
Great video as usual!! :)- As a resident of Las Vegas for over 12 years now and as a rideshare driver for 10 years I have seen more than enough. I think the F1 race hurt Vega$ as it was the sole purpose to cater towards the WEALTHY Kudos to YOU!! :)-
My top 3... 1. The Vegas Sign... like you said... you have to go once 2. Bodies... I've never went. Now I want to. 3. Fat Tuesday's... if you're going to walk The Strip it's fine. As far as it being cold. Once you drink below where you're holding it.. no issues. Just my opinion. 😊
Norma i’ve been following you since you started your the best at letting people know all the different things that are available for people to do in las vegas and your funny and a pleasure to watch keep up the good work. good job again Jim
This video reminds me of the time l tried to conquer the Coke Cola trays. It was an experience, sugar&caffeine rush x 100 as l honestly thought my heart was going to explode, so l wouldn't recommend trying to clear the trays!😂. Great video as always, with guest appearance of Lydia a bonus.
Appreciate the honest reviews, Norma! Prices are always welcomed! We're always looking for new things to do in Vegas when we visit so we're always excited to see your vlogs!
@@NormaGeliTipping at fast food places like an ice cream/gelato shop is unnecessary. No shame in not tipping there. Nevada isn't a tip credit state so restaurants servers get paid hourly at least the minimum wage or more which $12 per hour, but most jobs pay at least $15 per hour.
Thanks for your Vegas videos. One thing to point out is that the Tastes around the world at the Coca Cola store had very limited hours. Noon-6p and we never got a chance to come back to try it due to our schedule. 😢
Omg Norma you are so funny when you said shrek was ripped 🤣🤣🤣 oh man. As always I love your videos! I love Las Vegas! When I was there when we met this last August at Posh Burger. I put in just over 102,000 steps! I hope you have a great weekend!
The editing with Lidia with that slice was priceless. Would’ve been more priceless if you said abracadabra and suddenly the slice was actually $5.99 😂😂😂😂
you are absolutely right about how sugary the fat tuesday drink is. i really wish there was any options of the same size but with just basic ingredients like just tequila, lime juice, crushed ice and maybe a dash of some jalapeño extract YUM!
Tyvm Norma. Luv your Vegas tips. I'm heading out your way in 4 days for the 80th time so I'll be boning up on all your videos. Please keep up the good work & Happy New Year to you & yours!
Fat Tuesdays is a staple for me but I rarely get the yard anymore. The smaller cups are best. They go down easier and they're easier to pace yourself with. Take advantage of those extra shots though.
The other reason to go into M&M World is to get some custom stamped M&Ms :) I know the chocolate isn't great quality but you get to pick your colors and have a personalized message or little picture stamped on all of them. Kinda cool :)
Hello Norma great video I remember taking my nephew to MM World in 2002 when I also took him to the Nascar Race there in March. It was fun Wishing you all the best Take Care
I love your perpetual smile. My first time to LV we went to the sign, stood in the line and took a pic, yippee! You forgot about Fremont street, I like it but how many locals visit compared to tourists.
We have always waked into the M&M shop, and I agree it's overrated. I get bored. However we were there in June 2023 and got to go into the stranger things exhibit. My daughter was with us and she was floored. Anyway, carry on. Haha! Thanks for the video!
1:16 That's what some pizzerias are charging these days for big slices, unfortunately. Spinelli's Pizza on Mill Ave. in Tempe, AZ charges about the same. It's the reason we don't go there anymore. It makes more sense to buy a whole pie, get more for your dollar.
I’m just wondering, at Dick’s can the customers be rude back? My husband is sometimes rude to wait staff and it makes me so mad, so maybe I’ll take him to Dick’s next time we go to Vegas, and not tell him about the rude servers before hand. They can put him in his place. Haha! Great video!
I think the Showgirls statues at Arts District or at the Strat would be a better photos for a five minute or less wait. The Peppermill cocktail lounge and restaurant is great atmosphere, food and service with easy parking - The Golden Tiki on Spring Mountain is great Polynesian bar with live music 🍹
The Gelato at the Venetian is the Best👌. I worked there in their Design & Construction hidden offices behind the Sports Bar Walls for a year..and I would eat breakfast & Lunch at their Food Court everyday😋
The m&m store has a bank of america ATM too. Save on ATM fees from the casino ripoff fees. I dont know what other banks have ATM on the strip. Maybe a video topic to review best and worst ATM fees and what banks have their own machines.
I love fat Tuesdays lol. Though it is sweet. Never been to madame taussade and I’ve been to Vegas a million times. I’d like to see the hunger games exhibit. Maybe next time you can check that out. Neat video. Can’t wait to go next week
Wow, so many touristy spots in Vegas to choose from, so thanks for showing us a few to either take off or put on our list of things to do. The Bodies exhibit looks so interesting, but kind of creepy seeing real dissected bodies. Hmm...I'm wondering if the M&M store has any of my favorite periwinkle colored M&M's. Really fun video. Great job Norma!! 🌠
I actually have never been inside of Dick's Last Resort restaurant?😢 And I worked as the Project Manager's Assistant with Penta on building this restaurant in the early 2000s, I live here in Vegas!🤔 Thank you for reviewing it..
I just spotted you Norma in another LV UA-camr's video. If interested: The Laughing Lion's video titled 'Durango Casino and Resort Las Vegas, Grand Opening day, walk through' I saw you at the 17:33 mark as he walked right by you. Small LV world, eh? 😀
Dick's had a location in downtown San Diego and suddenly closed without tell the folks who work there. Some showed up for work and the place was closed, no warning, no nothing. It was kind of a Dick's move. I love the M&M store and the Coca-Cola store - better than the Pepsi and Reeses store. Save your money, go to Italy and have gelato while you are there.
Great video! One you didn't cover, but is definitely definitely worth it, is the Pinball Museum. Great family fun and you can easily kill an hour or two if you need a break from the "madness".
Been to the Coca-Cola store with a friend and we enjoyed the taste test. The Jamaica drink from Mexico was both our favorite. As for the Beverly, it's an... acquired taste. For me as a guy not much into pop culture, Madame Tussaud's was not worth it. The one exception was the Vegas room with all the performers, although I did annoy an employee by mis-naming S&R as Penn & Teller.
coca cola is the number producer of plastic waste on earth and also has given millions of people diabetes. they are a garbage company and should not be respected.
I would recommend seeing the Titanic Exhibit over all these and also she doesn't point out you can can get multiple attractions at discount rate .. we did CSI, the Titanic and Shark aquarium for like 65 dollars and other bundles of others also ,, One of the main reasons to go to Fat Tuesday's is the refill of the souvenier size choice cup you choose.. I have the 32 oz and that has been going to Vegas last 8 yrs and pay half price for all margaritas . Wash out daily n refills for 10 days when we go ..
I’ve been to Vegas like 5 times and have yet to go to Old Faithful lmaooo EDC weekend might be my shot lol & Tacos El Gordo has always had a line big enough dónde ni se antoja so I go next door jajaj
Personally I liked the travel tours outside Vegas for so many reasons. The freebie walks like M&M is fine...just see it. $2 Steak, Baked Potato, Salad, Dessert & Beverage In ‘90’s At Downtown “Horseshoe” Replaced Nearly $15 Slice Of Pizza
$12 for a slice of pizza and they have the nerve to charge extra for a crappy little packet of dressing? Uh, no.

12 a slice is pretty nuts. Ranch and pizza is great.
the people who own las vegas are so greedy. i hope that place goes out of business someday.

When did we start tipping the ice cream person? That’s not a tipping line of work. Overkill with the tipping.
