Wow! I haven't seen this since it aired whe I was 8! I was beginning to think I imagined it all!
There's so many episodes of this after-school special I missed.
I used to have the vhs when I was a child and have so much fond memories of this it’s just to bad that it hasn’t been released on DVD
I was born in 74 and grew up on an excess of American television; I know Timer well, but I never have seen this one
The younger boy and girl siblings look like the siblings from DFE-Film's adaptation of Dr. Seuss's "The Cat in the Hat".

At the height of its success,the early 1972 ABC Afterschool Specials were quite a pleasant
viewing expirience,of which is extinct today,since TV-especially Children's TV,is a completly
diffrent thing. this DePatie-Freleng cartoon film,the second of two,was very superior for it's
time,as Highly Educated and Social values were focused,when you consider that Sat.morning
cartoons back then,were still under attack(thanks to Action for Children's TV)for their content.

I *barely* remember this film from 30 years ago, when I was in 1st grade. It's much less elaborate than i remembered: the same animators from "Schoolhouse Rock," along with voice-acting akin to the Charlie Brown specials. VERY much a product of its time.

This is also right on the edge of memory , I remember "little red's head" and it suddenly occurred to me I could google that phrase just to see what popped up. I was 6 when I saw it I remember the end made me very sad. Similar experience when I googled "no ones happier than I" and rediscovered "Jack and the Beanstalk" also from '74. The Internet is cool when it isn't trying to sell you shit or mine for your personal data.
