for PVE... Hard to call a specific loadout because of course it's situational, but I use Badger CCL with firefly as my primary. I just love the feel, range, and precision of scout rifles, and Badger hits almost like a hand cannon. The downside is the mag is a little low at 14, but I find that's enough for most PVE encounters, especially with chain of woe and so forth. Like all scouts it's a headshot machine, and firefly is always a fun perk. Sniper, again that's very situational, Ice Breaker for instances where the regenning ammo is a big plus, Black Hammer for those bosses that favor it, and one of my LDR's is a good general choice, especially since I have 331 versions in Arc, Void, and Solar, so I can use what's best suited to the current enemy shield (for example in a strike with a lot of fallen, I would go with arc LDR for the captain shields). Oh, and that Efrideet's Spear you have with field scout looks monster, I'd love to have that. Heavy, I probably most often use just one of my generic Valedictorian launchers, either in Arc or Void. This keeps my exotic slot free. These are the most fun, I find RL's just more fun to play with than machine guns (and I used to be a only machine gun guy). Neither has tracking unfortunately, but in a weird way that makes them more fun too. Of course I break out Gallahorn on certain bosses etc. Interesting on that Against All Odds, I got that in a drop recently (void), intriguing weapon, seems to be an impact beast. Mine only has a 26 mag (no field scout, you got lucky there!). I also recently got a "The Culling" LMG in Arc which seems beast cause it had field scout=100 mag! For the skill tree....cant say I really know for sure, it's kind of just my guess, but your recovery/agility build is interesting...I tend to go more heavy on the armor. A long time ago i heard a random in raid chat saying agility is basically useless so that influenced my thinking, perhaps wrongly. I'm not sure really, what is the "correct" choice here. Maybe I will start trying an agility build, It just seems to me like in PVE, being able to take enemy fire and survive is paramount, thus I favor armor. Most of the other perks I use the same as you. Then, inverse shadow will be making your GG regenerate more often anyway, and 3 shots more often is better than 4 less often imo! I think that's where people mess up, the 4th GG shot is tangible, people can understand it, so people love Symbiote. But they should understand that it's better to have 3 shots more often, but most dont get that. Anyways I have Symbiote too, so I can go with either Symbiote+raid Gaunts or DTM+raid helm depending on my whim, but I must say IMO DTM+raid helm is the superior all purpose setup. Oh and in PVE I spec for intellect (first) and discipline. Because in PVE in order of usefulness it goes GG>>grenades>>throwing knife imo. For Bladedancer PVE, I mirror your thoughts completely. Quickdraw is actually very useful for blink users, as it allows you to instantly ready your weapon immediately after blinking, which can be very useful in tight situations
I came from a Titan so when I went to hunter I didn't do so well... but I found a build on bladedancer that really fits my play style! I go for a max armor build with agility being priority 2, this leaves my recovery stat seriously lacking. I then use fast twitch + hungering blade, this is where I get ALL of my recovery (I ,like many others, am extremely clsoe quarters and hyper aggressive, this keeps me alive while in the thick of battle). Pretty simple after that: Arcbolt grenade, increased control on the jump, showstopper for when I'm in that horde of enemies I love to fight so much, and quickdraw. I made my bladedancer a Titan and I love it.
I really can't understand why he does not use the Don't Touch Me gauntlets. They are by far my favorite for bladedancer, and have such extreme utility in PvE even if you don't want to go all out on the invisibility side of the skill tree. The ability to escape an enemy if it melees you is amazing, ESPECIALLY in the nightfalls and some other strikes with the modifier that makes enemies have stronger melee damage, because usually, you are going to be killed if they get to hit you again. However, with these gauntlets, you don't have to worry about that as much, because they can't hit you while you are invisible(they have an extremely short memory when it comes to guardians that were in one place, and gone the next). It also works amazing in the first part of the Crota's End raid, when the thrall start swarming and you can't run away, it gives you a lot more time to get out of a bad situation and regroup with your team. Finally, he makes such a huge emphasis on invisibility for a PvE bladedancer before talking about the exotic armor he uses, that it just shocked me why he would ever use the Mask of the Third Man(I know that it is good in many situations, but compared to Don't Touch Me, it does not seem as great). He even said that he liked the Mask of the Third Man because it allowed for him to keep his super's invisibility option up for longer, so he obviously wants another way to go invisible. There is nothing wrong with what he likes, don't get me wrong, but it just seems weird that he would not choose the(in my opinion) best invisibility armor in the game after making it so important for his bladedancer.
i actually think weapons ready immediately is really underrated, I use it alot, it alows you to melee and follo up with a shot faster than if its not activated. and allows you to shoot sooner after coming out of a blink. I find it pretty invaluable for close quarters fighting.

Knife juggler- I would like to point out the bounty from Eris which has knife throwing (The Sleight of Hand) as the goal. Knife Juggler is perfect for this bounty as you know you got a precision kill with the knife as it resets with a successful throw. And as there are plenty of areas on the Moon where groups of thrall attack you....
I basically run this, with a few differences: I run Keyhole and Way of the Forbidden, as opposed to Gunslinger's Trance and Way of the Nomad. Weapons, I usually run Suros Regime, either Stillpiercer or Ironwreath-D, and a machine gun (at the moment, I'm using Harrowed Qullim's Terminus).
I got a pretty good roll on a scout rifle, it reloads fast on it's own, but it got speed reload, and I combine that with chain of woe, and it is insanely fast. The only problem is, it's either speed reload or explosive ammo.
I tried out Scavenger for a while and for myself chucking many more grenades than usual. With the recent special ammo nerfs I feel that this perk will be even better because people will need to find crates more often. I've also taken a liking to Knucklehead again and use it for nightfalls. Best looking Hunter helm imo.

I still have a good stat roll of Discipline and Strength. I have more of a Agility-Armor build, but try to avoid having too little Recovery.
Blade Dancer Mask of the Third Man, Control Crucible, 5 enemies in one control zone, super, crouch till invisibility, run in, Show stopper, all dead, run hunt and kill last player...Then hunt and kill other players as they respawn...13 kills one super...I rock

Dude, you really need to try Quick Draw more on blade dancer. Talking about dirty, it's so good. It increases ADS speed AND weapon swap speed - very important when you're using basically any weapon because it reduces your time to kill. When you almost kill someone with a fusion rifle you're able to switch to an AR or HC and spray them for the kill rather than charge up another blast. I personally think quick draw is one of the best talents for blade dancer.
Thank you for the Video. I Only have 1 exotic piece for my hunter and it happens to be Don't Touch Me. This has given me a better idea of how to take full advantage of those perks and in what situations to use them! I hope you choose to upload more videos for the other classes, my best class is the Titan so do that one next. Also have you heard anything about when or if we will be seeing a third subclass? Ever since the game came out I've looked at that little empty box and wondered what we could expect in the future and when? I'm assuming Titans will get a Solar subclass, Hunter's a Void subclass, and Warlocks an Arc subclass. What kinds of supers do you think could be in those subclasses? I'm thinking long range solar beam for titan, some sort of team help abilities for hunter, and chain lightning super for warlock.
Bio Hazard Yeah, the third subclass slot was a temporary thing for the Destiny Alpha. They just haven't removed the empty box yet. However, that shouldn't keep us from trying to convince bungie to add a third subclass.
I actually use swarm grenades cause it keeps the AI in PVE away and cause them to flinch and crouch to hide which helps keep them away it won't damage you and if you are in a really helps provide light in the abyss run cause it provides a huge amount of light and I usually throw it at holes to warn my teammates and to show them the way.
For PvP I rather use Quickdraw, is amaizing 'cause you can stop using the switch the weapons faster perk so you can use other talent in weapon, aka Red Death (switching to aiming faster) my go to weapons are Red Death, Felwinter's Lie and Jolder's Hammer or Against All Odds, quickdraw can make you scape from close-death situations because you are allowed to switch to any weapon to save you in blink of an eye, also my Felwinter has kneepads, so I slide further, I'll go with Lucky Raspberry (having a granade everytime you spawn is amaizing ) Mainly discipline and strength build and melee atack speed
I personally think nobody should really go for these guides because it is always situational and playstyle-specific, what you should use. I switch my hunter around all the time because I always want him to be perfect for the thing I do and it doesn't even costs much time. But anyways, nice video and keep it going :)
So much of your build is situation oriented. I find myself constantly changing mine depending on the what the situation calls for. But these builds are a good foundation that is for sure. When I run sword on hard for Crota's End I use blade dancer, and max my armor and agility, since there is no health regen. Knowing your characters tree and how to use it in different situations is key to being the best guardian you can be.
Just a question, why did you max up the strength for the Bladedancer if you use fast twitch?! Isn't better in this case go for intellect and discipline!?
Well maxing strength + blink strike is amazing. The strike takes almost no time to regen and it's pretty much always there when you need it. Without maxing strength it takes a little longer and I feel I get into situations where maxed strength could have saved me when I'm not using it.

I have a rare cloak u can only get from decrypting rare engrams on a hunter under level 10 it is called the frumios cloak as of now it is the rarest hunter cloak in the game it is sick
Hunters are the worst class in the game. They get shut down by every other super and cannot panic super. Their melee is the worst too. They cant bullshit shoulder charge or scorch melee and get 10x health just by touching someone with their melee. Blade dancer is useless in pve, as lights witch is on 95% of the time. They also have the least amount of health and the shittiest looking armor. Really wish I didn't choose hunter first.
Hunters have more armor than warlocks according to what I heard before the game came out Titans 80/20 Armor cloth ratio Hunters 50/50 armor cloth ratio Warlocks are somewhere underneath
I've been running double shotgun since I got the universal remote in week 2, I leveled up my hunter last of my 3 characters and bladedancer first. So I only just leveled up my gunslinger enough to find the best setup for dual shotguns. I'm wearing the radiant dance machines have 100% and everything in agility and recovery, with the universal remote and felwinters lie (kneepads, single point sling, rangefinder. OP as fuck it has a greater range than the universal remote it's ridiculous) Anyway the perks knife juggler, gunfighter, scavenger and gamblers dagger really complement the short range dual shotgun build, the knives can damage enemies to decrease how close I need to get or to mop up, I get knife and grenade energy when I'm picking up ammo all the time for my shotguns , I move superfast while aiming. Anyway I've been top player like this all night let me know if anyone else has the skill to pull it off
Whenever you use Fast Twitch, all that strength is a waste. Fast Twitch by itself lowers blink strike cooldown to 5 seconds, and even with max strength that will only get you like an extra second and a half or so shaved off. Fast Twitch basically makes strength a redundant stat.
Very nice video! I'm mainly a pvp hunter player and my loadout is very similar to you. I'm using Gunslinger (exact same perk as you) with Last Word hand canon (xbox360 player here...) and Feltwinter's lie shotgun. However, I used Young Ahamkara's spine as my armor exotic to extend the duration of my tripmine... I will place my grenade on a likely path that the enemy will take or on an already capture control point and it work great. I will often get random grenade kills while I'm on the other side of the map since the increase duration time is so much! (but I didn't calculated it though lol)
What's the best faction hand cannon. I have a really good venation III. It has the same 2 main perks that Devil you know had. It also has armor piercing rounds and fire fly. Is it worth getting a red hand IX
Your Blade Dancer build is much different than mine, I actually use the path unknown and easy of the fearless so I can eat a couple extra bullets in PvE. But I also tend to hang right at the last piece of cover next to my enemies and flick in and out of danger with blink. At that close range there's a lot of stuff that I feel can one shot you if you take the lower armor. I might have to try that max agility though for PvP. I haven't messed with those in a long time.

Scavenger is the best, since trip mines are so good. Especially if you use your special weapon heaps as you will constantly be picking up ammo.

I'm a bladedancer and I'm really bad with blink too and in the Crucible I try to shoot at people but they just blink away and its really annoying.

QuickDraw with a shotgun is so good, you can run round the corners and instantly pull it out and destroy them

Thank you for the Video. I Only have 1 exotic piece for my hunter and it happens to be Don't Touch Me. This has given me a better idea of how to take full advantage of those perks and in what situations to use them! I hope you choose to upload more videos for the other classes, my best class is the Titan so do that one next. Also have you heard anything about when or if we will be seeing a third subclass? Ever since the game came out I've looked at that little empty box and wondered what we could expect in the future and when? I'm assuming Titans will get a Solar subclass, Hunter's a Void subclass, and Warlocks an Arc subclass. What kinds of supers do you think could be in those subclasses? I'm thinking long range solar beam for titan, some sort of team help abilities for hunter, and chain lightning super for warlock.
The void hunter super will be a gravity well and the Titan solar will be a beam of energy not sure about warlock

I actually use swarm grenades cause it keeps the AI in PVE away and cause them to flinch and crouch to hide which helps keep them away it won't damage you and if you are in a really helps provide light in the abyss run cause it provides a huge amount of light and I usually throw it at holes to warn my teammates and to show them the way.
Could you do some testing of the agility stat to figure out what it actually does

For PvP I rather use Quickdraw, is amaizing 'cause you can stop using the switch the weapons faster perk so you can use other talent in weapon, aka Red Death (switching to aiming faster) my go to weapons are Red Death, Felwinter's Lie and Jolder's Hammer or Against All Odds, quickdraw can make you scape from close-death situations because you are allowed to switch to any weapon to save you in blink of an eye, also my Felwinter has kneepads, so I slide further, I'll go with Lucky Raspberry (having a granade everytime you spawn is amaizing ) Mainly discipline and strength build and melee atack speed

I personally think nobody should really go for these guides because it is always situational and playstyle-specific, what you should use. I switch my hunter around all the time because I always want him to be perfect for the thing I do and it doesn't even costs much time. But anyways, nice video and keep it going :)
So much of your build is situation oriented. I find myself constantly changing mine depending on the what the situation calls for. But these builds are a good foundation that is for sure. When I run sword on hard for Crota's End I use blade dancer, and max my armor and agility, since there is no health regen. Knowing your characters tree and how to use it in different situations is key to being the best guardian you can be.

It is, but I don't play blade dancer enough to get a full armor set for those stats.
Well maxing strength + blink strike is amazing. The strike takes almost no time to regen and it's pretty much always there when you need it. Without maxing strength it takes a little longer and I feel I get into situations where maxed strength could have saved me when I'm not using it.
I'm only curious about one thing: what shader do you use in combination with Dead Zone Revolution?

Why do you use strength on your bladedancer when blink strike comes back every 5 seconds?
I play bladedancer so infrequently that I never bothered to get a proper int/disc set for it.

I have a rare cloak u can only get from decrypting rare engrams on a hunter under level 10 it is called the frumios cloak as of now it is the rarest hunter cloak in the game it is sick

Hunters are the worst class in the game. They get shut down by every other super and cannot panic super. Their melee is the worst too. They cant bullshit shoulder charge or scorch melee and get 10x health just by touching someone with their melee. Blade dancer is useless in pve, as lights witch is on 95% of the time. They also have the least amount of health and the shittiest looking armor. Really wish I didn't choose hunter first.

I've been running double shotgun since I got the universal remote in week 2, I leveled up my hunter last of my 3 characters and bladedancer first. So I only just leveled up my gunslinger enough to find the best setup for dual shotguns.
I'm wearing the radiant dance machines have 100% and everything in agility and recovery, with the universal remote and felwinters lie (kneepads, single point sling, rangefinder. OP as fuck it has a greater range than the universal remote it's ridiculous)
Anyway the perks knife juggler, gunfighter, scavenger and gamblers dagger really complement the short range dual shotgun build, the knives can damage enemies to decrease how close I need to get or to mop up, I get knife and grenade energy when I'm picking up ammo all the time for my shotguns , I move superfast while aiming. Anyway I've been top player like this all night let me know if anyone else has the skill to pull it off

Whenever you use Fast Twitch, all that strength is a waste. Fast Twitch by itself lowers blink strike cooldown to 5 seconds, and even with max strength that will only get you like an extra second and a half or so shaved off. Fast Twitch basically makes strength a redundant stat.
Very nice video! I'm mainly a pvp hunter player and my loadout is very similar to you. I'm using Gunslinger (exact same perk as you) with Last Word hand canon (xbox360 player here...) and Feltwinter's lie shotgun.
However, I used Young Ahamkara's spine as my armor exotic to extend the duration of my tripmine... I will place my grenade on a likely path that the enemy will take or on an already capture control point and it work great. I will often get random grenade kills while I'm on the other side of the map since the increase duration time is so much! (but I didn't calculated it though lol)
What's the best faction hand cannon. I have a really good venation III. It has the same 2 main perks that Devil you know had. It also has armor piercing rounds and fire fly. Is it worth getting a red hand IX

Your Blade Dancer build is much different than mine, I actually use the path unknown and easy of the fearless so I can eat a couple extra bullets in PvE.
But I also tend to hang right at the last piece of cover next to my enemies and flick in and out of danger with blink. At that close range there's a lot of stuff that I feel can one shot you if you take the lower armor.
I might have to try that max agility though for PvP. I haven't messed with those in a long time.
