The best thing is this list could be 500 songs and we'd still all be pissed off our favorites weren't on it because there are so many good ones
Most of mine were on here
I was hoping for "class of 57"
Exactly! Country is the best, the lifestyle, the story’s, everything about it is awesome!
Why do all the Commentators on this video seem to Hate the Dixies Chicks? Is it because they don't like them Musically or because they don't like their Politics. Even President Donald Trump think the Iraq was a Mistake based upon LIes. This is one reason why the Bushes hate Donald TRump.
You’re right mine was Smokey on your front door by Waylon Jennings
RIP Legend Kenny Rogers 1938 - 2020
RIP Mr Rogers! Your music and voice are legendary, I will always love Sweet music man , written for Waylon Jennings. ....amazing song and lyrics!

Remember when Country music was good?
+Stephen Morris Some of us do. The younger people have only heard chit.
Wait, country music was good?
+Tommy Truth I disagree im 15 and this is the type of music that i always listen to
+Tommy Truth I agree with Styler Prime - I'm 16 and listen to singers like Johnny Cash and Chris Ledoux. You have to remember that not every young person is the same - however I do agree that most modern and recent music is quite bad. I listen to almost every genre of music, with some dating back to the 60's onwards.
+Stephen Morris Agreed. Now they are Pop Singers singing about stupid chit. Some even have rap crap playing on the radio. What the heck!?! I don't have satellite radio in my truck but I bless my cd player.
In all fairness I don't really think you can have a top 10 top Country songs of all time
without it being a top 500 list ( at least) . Because there are so many Great Country classics that deserve recognition.

My personal opinion is, most of what Merle Haggard, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Johnny Cash, Bobby Bare, Tompall Glaser and Kris Kristofferson, sang deserves to be at No1
My Dad was a great singer and played guitar. He played “ played “ He stopped loving her today “ for my mom. He loved Cash. He died in 2005. Made my heart miss him.
You have warm memories of him. He sounds like he was a good man.
That's the year I was born
I've never been in the US, but I fell in love with country music when I spent some months living with my sister who was married to an american military in Germany and she introduced me to a friend by the name of John Lynch from Colorado who used to wear cowboy hat and boots. He bought me a couple of cassettes at the army commissary and took me to a place where there were pretty german girls dancing country music and told one of them to teach me how to dance, and God! I've totally got stuck to country music forever, and I'm panamanian and I can tell you, lots of people in Latin America love country music. Greetings from Panama.
Good on 'ya man. Stick with country music!😂
@jimvinson6046 r u have bad taste😂
I love all the older country music.
SANDRA, I'M WITH YOU, BUT IF YOU WANT TO SEE A MONDERN TAKE ON CLASSIC COUNTRY CHECK OUT CHARLIE MARIE "HEARD IT THROUGH THE RED WINE"

Tbh you need a top 50 with all the good songs of the past
Yeah, but "everybody" don`t count...remember "Kenny Rogers and the first addition"?
I would of put George Jones “The One I Loved Back Then.” And Hank Williams “I’m a rolling stone” in there.
Everyone who grew up with country music knows there are hundreds of great country artists.
Unlike today on country radio the same few songs are played to death.
There's great country today....!!! Luke Bryan...all kids of great songs...IL come back with. A list lol
Patsy Cline's "Crazy" is the top jukebox song of all time. It's as good today as it was the day Willie Nelson wrote it. Maybe, just maybe it should be #!.
I like the way Linda Rondstadt does it. The voice and the style comes together.

One of your 'honorable mentions,' "El Paso," by Marty Robbins, dominated both the country and pop music charts in the spring and summer of 1960. It should have been among the top 10. Likewise, "Coal Miner's Daughter."
One of the greatest songs of all time

El Paso. Marty.

Willie Nelson - Blue eyes crying in the rain
Lucijan Omerzel My thoughts exactly!!! 🤘🏻
Had way to much Willie Nelson already
Fuck Willie for supporting Beto!
Pat Hartzell I hate Beto but that’s my boi Willie... that hurt...
That song was actually written in the 1940's. Willie did Red Headed Stranger in a garage studio in Garland, TX. The producer wanted to dress it up and Waylon told him as is or F off. The Last Thing I needed the first thing this morning was to have you walk out on me. Now there is a country song.
Sunday Morning Coming Down
maybe as good as it gets
Straight masterpiece.
Glad I’m old enough to love old country
My top 10
Ray Price For The Good Times, John Connelly Rose Colored Glasses, Brooks and Dunns Neon Moon, and/or Paint Me A Birmingham by Tracy Lawrence. Don't Close Your Eyes by Keith Whitlley, I Let Her Lie by Darrell Singletary, or maybe Remember When Alan Jackson and Travis Tritt's Anymore. Blues Eyes Crying In The Rain and Hello Walls by Faron Young.
If you've seen an older guy sitting alone most weekdays after work in any small bar USA, minding his own business and playing any of these songs our paths may have crossed.

When country music was only country music....the way it should be.
More than 30 years ago I was watching a country video clip with many singers together singing for something ( unfortunately I don’t remember the title 😔) but since then I became a huge fan of country music ♥️
My all-time favorite country song is "Midnight In Montgomery" by Alan Jackson. This song is what got me into country music. There's a zillion other country songs that I could list being great, but I'll leave it at that!
‘Okie from Muskogee’ and ‘Hey Good Lookin’ should also get honorable mention.
Some of the honorable mentions should have been moved up...
No Hank Jr, No Alabama, maybe even the Judds. Some of the songs on this list never even hit #1 on country charts
Best thing about the list no Keith Urban 😂
right on! No Keith Kidman Urban.

Keith Urban and any of the other snap track garbage they have today.
Hell yeah no keith urban but i will keep Hank and Alabama on my top 10

" Country Road " by John Derver is a hit.....top 1 in my list
Probably the most known country song.
That fiddle in Amarillo By Morning no matter how many times I've heard in my life always gives me chill bumps.
Nahh..the original written and sung by Terry Stafford in 1973 is hella lot better.
Chas Gregg AMEN!!!!
He did not say anything about who sang it, rather the fiddle which, if you knew the original, contained the same notes on the fiddle.
Chas Gregg Lilly rosemary and the jack of hearts

He Stopped Loving Her Today is the quintessential coutry love song.

Wait a gosh darn minute. Last week you guys did the "Top ten Johnny Cash Songs." and "I Walk the Line" was #1 and "Ring of Fire" was #2. Now ROF is the #1 country song of all time? Did you forget your own list from just last week?
It's called being objective and it boils down to the criteria. Recall we went with Led Zeppelin's Stairway to Heaven in Top 10 Iconic Rock Songs , yet didn't choose that as Led Zep's top song in Top 10 Led Zeppelin Songs . So, we think it works as is for similar reasons. If we're talking what the best Johnny Cash songs are, things that really say who and what Cash is then Walk the Line would have to be the top spot. It's the one that really gave him the career and the sound. If we're talking best country then we Think Ring of Fire does top it. It's more innovative, lively and a bit more modern. We think Walk the Line instantly goes to a certain artist and era, Ring of Fire is more in tune to the shape of the genre.
I understand that there is a difference in theory, but in reality there is very little that can be differentiated between the two and most people won't get that you are making a distinction between a "top ten song" and a top ten iconic song". Its all the same in the minds of your average youtube viewer. Anyhow, I love your top ten lists so keep em coming. And while I have your attention, let me suggests a video. How about a top ten Disney Sidekicks.
