The fact that we won't be able to enjoy Seth Rogan's work the same is the only crap thing about this being exposed. I feel like no one ever looooved or even talked about James Franco's performances and people really only ever watched their films for the Seth Rogan bits. James Franco just never struck me as a particularly talented member of Hollywood, definitely someone who is there because they're rich and powerful, not because they're actually skilled in the industry in any way, shape or form. But yeah now we know, we know Seth knew.

I am entertained by the characters James Franco has played in the comedies he has starred in, but as himself he seems sketchy. We don’t really know who these people in Hollywood are. They wear masks and we have no idea what is really behind them.
Yes, this scandal depresses me, because I had actually been a fan of James before I knew this stuff. I don’t expect actors to be heroes, but he’s a trash man.
when you look back tho, pineapple express has content that comes in a bit too close to home like, seth being an adult dating a teen girl n it being "acceptable" in the movie and funny. other movies where they make r*pe jokes. when i heard about the story w/ him and the teen i looked back at pineapple and ever since ive been lookin a little harder when men in movies joke about shit like that. isnt just jokes, its their life.

You'll see so many people you like in photos with him. Weinstein company was behind literally most movies. You couldn't avoid him. I don't consider Rogen some great guy anymore since he was so close to Franco and just ignored everything for decades only distancing himself somewhat when it was too public. I believe he does feel bad but that is not enough. It's difficult to call out friends cause you don't wanna lose them. But this is too much. The Weinstein thing though, absolutely irrelevant to most people's character since there was little choice there.

Honestly though, Bill Cosby got out. All it takes is paying the right people to invalidate some evidence or getting the women to retract their statements. Hollywood is corrupt as hell. I haven't trusted this man ever since Freaks and Geeks. It's very clear that his behavior in that show went beyond acting, especially with how visibly uncomfortable the girls on the show were around him. I don't believe he's the kind of person to genuinely reflect on their actions and change their behavior. He's been in this business over twenty years and hasn't changed at all in that time

Vince is local to where I was born & my Dad played poker with Vince's Dad "back in they day". They filmed in that city & other Cincinnati area locations. Vince was also a partner at the school. The info about Vince being charged too was in the local papers. He comes from a monied family that owns businesses & are heavily involved in local politics. Ugh.

Okay but I would never accept any amount of money to cover up my s3xual assault. However, this is a whole different case with multiple victims who spoke up and they all took the hush money and dropped the case, I’m not judging or blaming them for the SA but I think since this case was so highly publicized and multiple victims were involved and spoke up then they could have done something to make sure that man went to jail. They took the money and dropped the case immediately.. that’s not right in my eyes.
