It isn’t all on him. They were just as willing to use him to further their own ambitions. For all we know he never made any such promises and they just assumed that they would have their big debut if they slept with him. So even if the accusations are 100% true and Franco is an irredeemable sexual predator, they would have been fine with his predatory behavior provided he got them their big breaks. This doesn’t put them in a very flattering light.

What about the claims that he had gotten angry with female students who refused to remove their clothes for a scene which was addressed in court, interviews and on social media yet he has decided not to mention it in his apology or when confronted and has always said "the tweets aren't accurate" or "I'm not here to silence anyone and I'm glad they have a voice" or something along the lines. The exploitation wasn't just created by some girl going up to him and offering favours in order to get better roles. It was also him offering better roles in order to get favours. Don't go ahead and blame victims if you have no idea what the full story is. Just like we waited for him to speak his side you have to be able to listen to the victims just as attentively.

The most disgusting part of all this is Seth Rogen. With that out of the way, not trying to say there wasn’t fault in Franco, but at some point women need to start stepping up for themselves. The desperation to be stars is not an excuse. Learn to value your worth and talent.
Re: the first sentence above ... What's "disgusting" about Rogen or his actions? Do you mean Rogen's disgusting for throwing Franco under the bus, and publicly disconnecting from him? Or ... to go to the other end of the spectrum ... are you referring to Rogen being, to some degree, complicit in Franco's pre-MeToo ill treatment of women, in that Rogen knew full well how badly Franco treated women, but looked the other way and/or never spoke up about it?
