The skin is so cute but I wish they’d have stuck to the colouring of the original image. Her hair is such a soft whiteish blonde bob in the artwork but now it’s blocky and yellow. Either way glad we finally got it after so long :’)

yes i also think the hair is too thick and too long. they needed to shorten it and make it thinner to match the art.
the ana sleep on the tracer after her pulse bomb made me feel so good. so happy for her
i hate being forced to play kiriko or ana whenever a mauga is on my team or the enemy team. there are so many supports that are fun to play and having to play certain supports just because of the current meta is really annoying.
To be fair the reverse is said for the tank picks too. Think really only dps get a free pass with picking what they want to play half the time without a ton of team comp consideration
@@DelRae yeah true you are kind of being forced to play mauga vs mauga bc not even sigma or junkerqueen works THAT well and then its just about who has the better supports. the only thing the dps can do is counter pick the mauga but honestly that doesnt make a huge difference
i understand counterpicking is essential to the game, but so is not forcing mauga when you have supports that dont enable him. :/ also for anyone wondering, ram is a great pick against mauga
@@nikachinfulRam is most definitely not a good pick against Mauga. His normal form doesn’t have enough hp and Mauga beats him in dmg, also can charge past shield. His vortex is useless against Mauga since his charge goes through anything. Nemesis form just lets the Mauga heal and you don’t beat him in dmg either. Only good pick against Mauga for tank is Sigma and JQ depending on the range. So the only way to deal with Mauga is to hard counter him with Ana which is another problem entirely 😞

Mauga is basically a chonky dps. There is just too much value pocketing him cause of how insane he his. Hes gonna be a balancing nightmare
they wont balance him, until mid januar. so they get value out of they money.
How are y'all liking the mauga meta? I fucking hate it lol. I'm so tired of playing kiriko-ana to counter the enemy mauga and save your own bc it's pretty much whoever's mauga dies first gets dominated that team fight. And with both you just turn into a healing bot cause dude is massive and takes so much dmg 😴😴
i am so tired of it honestly. i hate playing support with a mauga on my team and on the enemy team as well, because he sucks up heals and then also deals so much damage. i switched to dps and just figured i'd play that until he gets tweaked, but its still terrible because you get focused and also cant kill the enemy mauga. my tank main friend also says he hates it because going against a mauga is like a worse version of orisa, and he feels forced to play mauga while going against one. guess all roles will suffer until they tweak him.
I haven’t seen such high dmg boost numbers since the nerfs
damage boost is still a broken ability, amplifying almost 30% more damage than it would have without it
my play diamond games and awful mms there’s rarely a team with dmg to boost in the first place lol

Because as toxic as it can be sometimes it really is necessary, things like “x character on me” “this person is low” help a lot during team fights, ofc if the voice chat gets incredibly toxic then it’s okay to leave but being off from it on high elos is on its own a bad play (specially at Top 500 like Zhau) if anything, I felt like they were not being overly toxic but the Mauga was clearly suffering a lot from anti and both DPS weren’t good for Mercy during the second round (Even Zhau said this on the video) but that’s just how it is! Mauga had to adapt to not having a cleanse and with the high amount of damage boost things worked! But yes sometimes a character doesn’t really run well with the comp and that can frustrate people, happens to Mercy, Lucio, Zen, etc

Honestly most of the time their voices are muffled or they speak so fast, so I couldn’t even understand them lol. So if they were being toxic to me or someone it wouldn’t have even registered

yesss omg they were sk annoying...Like the soldier was yelling at the tracer for "throwing" "LOOK BEHIND YOU" then two secs later when zhau checked the scoreboard he was 3-2 and the tracer was 7-2 LMAOO then later he was using his visior with a nano, an ana healing him, a mercy dmg boost and heals AND a tank for protection and he still died...standing in the open...LIKE HOW IS THAT MAN IN TOP 500/GM...
I hate mauga, he alone take so much resources, literally to take beam off him for two second to heal or boost others and within a blink his dead.

From what I remember, Mauga has the ability to heal the more damage he does (when he glows yellow) does damage boosting help him heal more?
Yes, It does. The healing is based on damage dealt.
More Damage = More Healing

Hi there I’m a newer mercy player! I noticed at @5:03 when you rez you do a little jump. What is that!? 😀😀
It's a super jump rez.
Do it by pressing shift, looking upwards, space, then look to the soul and rez. (Hold crouch in the end If you're not landing on ground.)
It can be trained in some Mercy Parkour Maps.
In 5:03 they actually used CTRL instead of space, due to the soul being close.

Is it stupid to pocket/ always damage boost tanks? Is it better to try and damage boost the DPS more?
I'd say to take the "always" out of the statement. Normally you want to damage boost dps because they will most likely do the most damage on your team. Hopefully, your second support will be pocketing the tank and you won't have to focus on them. But if your tank is popping off (like if you had a high charge Zarya who was doing great), or your tank uses a specific ability (such as damage boosting when Roadhog hooks an enemy), then it's perfectly fine to pocket your tank. It's pretty situational, but part of being a good Mercy is knowing where you will be most useful!

i usually damage boost my dps but it’s worth damage boosting your tank sometimes too, usually when they’re ulting or say you don’t have good pocket choices like sombra tracer and u don’t wanna swap then u can damage boost ur tank and then damage boost ur dps when they’re around. I don’t know why it would be a bad thing to pocket your tank as long as you arent heal botting or ignoring dps
